Lovely host Richard as I had just come out of hospital the morning I arrived I was very tired and fragile and he was very kind and talked to me and following morning when I couldn’t eat a full English he went the extra mile and got me scrambled egg which with a sore mouth I could swallow and apple juice it was a comforting gesture when I was very fragile from a hospital visit

Just a fan available in room as it was a really big heatwave and room gets the sun from 5.30am so by 8.30 am it’s neccesary to get out even the pretty balcony was too hot and that was due to freak weather ,I only have one lung after cancer so found it difficult to breath ,any other season would have been fine I feel it’s better suited to fitter person ,but Richards kindness was a bonus

Balcony in the sun, looking at the sea for a cup of tea. Lovely freshly decorated room with comfortable beds, extra pillows and exceptional linen. Separate shower room very handy for an extra make-up mirror, and dressing room.

Bonus having a fridge in the room, but turned it off overnight for noise. Chiller box kept everything perfectly cold for the morning !

It was a lovely hotel. Great communication, went our of their way to make sure we were happy and advised on parking etc. We could leave the wheelchair downstairs which was a huge help! Really really lively stay. Would 100% book there whe we return! The balcony also was amazing in this lovely weather!

The sea view was great and you could see the pier to the right. A small veranda was enough for a table and chairs.

Nothing springs to mind, as everything was clean, tidy and in it's place.

What a superb hotel. Being pet friendly our expectations were low based on previous experiences but we were thrilled to bits with the cleanliness of the hotel. We had such a warm welcome from Richard and a fabulous breakfast the next morning. The room was very comfortable, the location was great and we enjoyed the character and charm of this property.

Impeccable, so new, probably just redecorated. Exceptionally clean too. Richard is very welcoming, helpful and the breakfast fry ups were excellent. It felt like home away from home - exactly what we wanted as we didn't want to feel like at the hotel 'conveyor belt' . Really good stay

We had the front first floor room with the balcony and sea view. Brilliant.

Parking is not necessarily easy, especially when there’s an air show looming.

View and location fantastic. Very friendly host.

En-suite bathroom would have been nice although toilet in the room.

We really enjoyed our stay at this little amazing hotel. Richard was very friendly and helpful. The room was lovely, extremely clean with all you need for a few days. The views were spectacular. We will go back for sure. Thanks
