Omar was really nice and helpful. The day before my departure , I fell and twisted my ankle. Not only did he give me a hand with my luggage, but he also gave me a ride to the train station. He was a gentleman. The room was super clean, and there was courtesy tea and coffee. Close to many shops and the pier, where you can hop on and off the sightseeing bus that takes you to Seven Sisters. With your stay, you get a courtesy cocktail in a local bar, which unfortunately I didn’t use. I was on a budget, so it was the perfect place to stay.

Comfortable King bed (2 doubles under a flat sheet). Nicely laundered bed linen and a duvet neither too hot or too cold. Very clean. Powerful shower. Very pleasant manager. Good quality picture on the TV. Lovely room. Shops, cafes etc within a couple of mins and also 5 min walk to beach. I slept very well.

Had a really lovely stay. Very traditional seaside B&B. On arrival I had no television in my room but this was soon rectified by very friendly owners. No breakfast on site but a wonderful family run café in close proximity. The welcome and food were wonderful. I would definitely stay again xxx

As my room was at the rear of the property there was no view.

Clean, comfortable, excellent tea tray and toiletries considering the price. It's unusual to get biscuits in the room these days but pleasantly pleased to have 4! Nice sized room for a single.

It was nicely decorated and looked nice and clean but had a grubby old radiator on the wall that let it down a little bit. The toilet only had one very small light that made it quite dark.

Our host, Kurt, made us feel welcome from the minute we met him. From parking our 2 cars to making sure our breakfast was catered for per individual taste and even letting us stay longer in the lounge when the weather took a turn after we had checked out. Thank you, Kurt for everything. You made us feel at home.

The family running this B&B were amongst the friendliest, nicest couple I have come across. Their establishment was very clean and it is obvious that they care very much that their customers enjoy their stay. It is not a 5 star place but that makes it all the more remarkable that you can get such great value for the cost. Bear in mind that you might have a few sets of stairs to climb, but as I was reminded "the exercise is good for you". I loved it here.

This delightfully inviting Inn is just a few short steps from Eastbourne's iconic pier. Accessible to all of Eastbourne's favourite attractions I was made to feel as if I were being welcomed 'Home!' Excellent cooked breakfast, comfy beds and magnificent hosts made my stay positive and memorable. And a great 'positive' for Eastbourne - Cromwell House offers a discounted parking scheme where an all-day stay is only £2 ! I highly recommend!

Both Cromwell House and its lovely team both exceeded my expectations. I was instantly made to feel at home and was provided with assistance to my room. My full cooked breakfast was superb. I could not have wished for a nicer stay and a nicer couple so committed to their care and professionalism. I highly recommend!

The location of the property was good and easy to find. It was ideal and in easy reach for both the beach and the town centre. The hosts were very professional, friendly and helpful.

Unfortunately for me I got the last room available which meant a lot of stairs to walk up and down, which was not too good for my wife. It would have been nicer if the room was decorated a bit lighter and brighter and there were more clothes hangers in the cupboard. Other than this everything was good.
