The Manse is perfect in every way. Annie and John are fantastic hosts, ensuring you have the best stay possible. The superking room I stayed in with my partner was stunning, as was the rest of the house. The bed was wonderfully comfortable and all furnishings and furniture were top quality. Having fresh milk and bottled water in a fridge was a bonus, as were the yummy biscuits and chocolates, left each day. InkThe room itself was enormous, as was the bathroom. Everywhere was scrupulously clean, bright and delightful. There were lots of information leaflets and Annie and John were very knowledgeable about places to visit. The breakfasts were delicious, with lots of choice. As previously mentioned by other guests, both the homemade muesli and granola were particularly tasty; as were the homemade preserves. Parking was never a problem either, as there were always spaces directly outside, with no restrictions whatsoever. The town centre took about ten minutes to walk into and the seafront, fifteen. I could wax lyrical about this sumptuous bed and breakfast for a very long time but, suffice it to say, it was perfect in every way and Annie and John are two of the nicest, friendliest people we have ever met. I cannot recommend The Manse highly enough. 5 star accommodation, run by 5 star hosts. Thank you both so much.

This beautiful house exceeded all my expectations. It was beautifully decorated and absolutely spotless. The breakfasts were delicious with a variety of choices prepared at your order. Every evening I returned to my room to find a small cookie jar filled with freshly baked cookies. My bathroom was lovely with a deep soaker tub/shower and a heated towel bar was a bonus. The sheets were crisp and ironed and seemed to be changed daily! The host and hostess were wonderful and helpful in every way.

The house was lovely, the room was tastefully decorated in keeping with the house, extremely clean and tidy with fresh milk, biscuits, tea, coffee and hot chocolate. A bottle of water, both sparkling and still, which was replaced each day which was a nice touch. The breakfast was very nice with sufficient choice. The cooked elements were always freshly cooked to order. John and Anne were lovely hosts who couldn't do enough for you.

I booked the room for other family members who were coming over from Auzzie for my Daughter's wedding. This B&B was very close to the Gildredge Manor where the wedding was being held. So location was perfect. My Brother in law and his wife stayed here and were delighted with the B&B. My Brother in Law was a senior manager in a large hospitiality group and very fussy. He and his wife said that they would have no hesitation in staying at the Manse again when they re-visit - HIGH PRAISE !!

The full English breakfast was fabulous and the host's home made jam and marmalade was an extra treat. The bedroom was large and comfortable with a spectaclular bed and two arm chairs for watching TV, there was plenty of tea, coffee and hot chocolate sachets as well as a biscuit jar provided! There was a mini fridge in the room with milk and still and fizzy water supplied. We were made to feel very welcome by John and Ann and we had a perfect stay. We can't wait to return.

Delightful Arts and Crafts house, furnished in period with many pleasing details. A labour of love to create this over many years. Anne and John were concerned to make sure everything was as we would wish. Delicious breakfast with lots of excellent choices. Homemade marmalade, jam, granola and muesli. Large attractive bedroom with storage and armchairs large TV. Located an easy walk from the pedestrian shopping areas about 15 minutes from the promenade and beach. There were helpful leaflets about local walks available. Bathroom was well appointed.

Everything! Not even a single thing not to like about our stay. The hosts, Anne and John, absolutely marvelous people. Property was spot on clean, tidy, such a lovely home feeling. Breakfasts were delicious and the company was amazing. The touch of personalised art, home made produce and lovely conversations complimented the beauties of Eastborune.

The fact that we had to leave! :) really nothing was there not to like!

The Art Deco features made it special. It was spacious and light. The bedroom had a little seating area with 2 armchairs as well as a four poster bed. There was nothing lacking in what was provided. The hosts were friendly, polite, kind and accommodating. The breakfasts were great with homemade granola, muesli, jams and marmalade. Cooked breakfast was also very good.

All aspects of the breakfast were prepared and delivered with great care and consideration. Full selection of everything you could possibly want! Nothing was too much trouble!. The House is historical as well as beautifully presented. Our room was very comfortable, clean and relaxing.

Personally I needed more comfortable shoes for the walk to our Restaurant in the evening.

The only downside was that we couldn't say longer but will visit again if in Eastbourne
