The location to the beach and the view was amazing. Breakfast was good. Not far to the town centre.

Decided to have a meal at the Artisan restaurant at the hotel as it was my birthday. My boyfriend was going to have the fish and chip, after about 20 min then to be told he could still have the fish but no batter as they only had one fryer working . Ordered food then had to wait half an hour for main meal. We could see other people getting there food before us. Spoke to the waitress but she just walked off. Eventually got food it was good. Just disappointed by service and lack of communication.

Sea view high floor (5th) extra large comfy bed. Nice to have a balcony.Special mention to Pauline in the restaurant. She was exceptional at her job always polite and would do whatever she could to accommodate visitors. She works so hard and never complained once whilst we were there. Professional at all times but a very kind lady 💕A credit to your establishment.

Water pressure a trickle at one point & loo failed to flush. We think it was the amount of people showering at all the same time! Low water pressure. Fire alarm going off and no real evacuation procedure. People hoovering around stairs asking what they should do. People opposite our room didn’t evacuate. We had to inform staff. No one officially told us when we could return to our rooms. No one knew what was going on. Being picky the mirror in the bathroom was water damaged and for the price of the room (507) it should have been spotless. Air con didn’t seem to work and a fridge would be great.

the view on the balcony, breakfast was lovely, amazing location

we had no Air Conditioning at first and very intermittent wifi, we complained and after 3 days the aircon was fixed but the wifi was not. we even asked about using the alternative wifi option for conferences and after numerous conversations were given the password but it wasn’t much better. we explained that we needed to keep in constant contact with our disables granddaughter and have stayed numerous times before with no problem but were told that there are black spots in various areas in the hotel. Appeared no plan to get this fixed. It wasn’t satisfactory considering the expense of the room being over £200 a night, and this ruined the experience at this hotel. I have lost faith in this hotel after staying 4 times previously.

Lovely Hotel room. Clean, great Staff, Terrace, fantastic bathroom, Great Breakfast selection.

Uncomfortable Pull out bed. 'Family room' but 1 double bed. Vegan and Vegetarian options poor. Expensive Resturant but limited menu. Didn't have much idea of the room we were getting and the view was obstructed. I booked for sea views but got half a view. It was very expensive despite not having best views or another bed to sleep in. Shouldn't advertise as family room if only one bed and a small pull out bed that was very uncomfortable.

The room overlooking the sea for a single person was a lot larger than I expected and therefore a real bonus. It had a balcony which was brilliant when the weather was sunny and you could sit out there. Bathroom was large and constant hot water. Breakfasts are impressive with the food being hot and tasty. Bar staff are keen to help you to choose your drinks and food. I had a problem with the safe in the room and the technicians arrived within a few minutes to show me how to use it. I particularly appreciated being able to pay £2 for the parking each day given the general cost of parking in Eastbourne.

The chair on the balcony is very hard and the balconies would be vastly improved with a more comfortable chair and a small table for your drink. I would have liked to have had a small fridge in the room in order to keep my special milk cold. Also I found the pillows to be rather hard and would have liked the option to ask for a softer one.

The room wasn't as large as I expected though it certainly wasn't tiny. It was very clean and the bed was super comfy. The balcony was small but big enough for two chairs and a (small) table - fine for drinking a glass of something while admiring the lovely view over the beach which is all lit up at night. The hotel is situated very close to the local theaters and there are loads of places to eat nearby. Parking was not an issue with plenty of spaces around the hotel. Staff were very attentive and welcoming and seemed happy to serve. Breakfast was buffet style with limited choices but adequate though we would've booked another day if we had known how slow the toaster was.

At £270 for one night I think some decent coffee in the room wouldn't be too much to ask for - most top line hotels now provide Nespresso machines as standard these days, and I'm sure there is a fridge in the room somewhere, but I'm darned if I could find it!

View is amazing. Make sure you book a room with front facing balcony. You have multiple options in breakfask and it is more than enough to have a good start for the day.

Parking facility should be slightly better. Hotel offers you a discounted parking ticket for public parking space. In my case, hotel did offer a 2nd parking ticket as well in the price of one as there were some issues in the date on ticket. Staff is very helpful and the discount is also a lot. £2 for whole day. Only problem is finding the vacant place for parking as it is managed by council and having a ticket does not guarantee you a place.

Great location - was in town for the tennis and it was a short walk from the hotel to the tournament. Not too far of a walk from the train station and lots of restaurants nearby. Wonderful views from the room and I liked having a balcony to go out for the fresh air and to take in the views. The room I stayed in was really spacious and the bathroom had both a separate shower and a bathtub with shower. Breakfast was varied and good quality. Staff were welcoming and helpful. The hotel forewarns guests of events in the hotel - the events did not disturb my stay at all. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Good Breakfast, plenty of choice, nice seating and airy room. We had a good view from our bedroom which was an Economy Double Sea View Room, only because that was all that was left for dates that we required as we came to see the tennis. I would have preferred a larger room and twin beds with a balcony, but these rooms were not available for our visit. The room was clean and room serviced. Friendly and helpful staff throughout the Hotel. 3 lifts were good as we were on the 7th floor. If you were planning to go to the Tennis which is only a short walk away, I would recommend this hotel but I would book early to get a better room.

Good Air conditioning but did feel a bit cold at times, in bedroom and also sitting in Bar/Bistro on ground floor. Parking can be an issue but if you get a parking spot near the hotel it is handy, you also pay a minimal amount for a parking permit at the Hotel or Blue Badge Holders are free of charge so this is helpful

A clean comfortable room and everything worked! All the staff I met were cheerful, helpful and friendly. Breakfast was superb, everything I wanted and a lot more! Two small problems were fixed within minutes of me telling reception, again by happy staff.

The tiny notice that explained how the shower worked was too low down and small to be read by me even with my glasses on. Suggest it is at least moved to eye level and really needs to be bigger. I have used different showers all over the world but couldn't get this one to work. Of course, when I was shown, it was really easy. The shower gel bottle fixed to the wall did not work. This time it was not me, it really did not work, but the plunger was replaced with no fuss very quickly and all was fine.
