I really enjoyed staying in the Osborne Aparthotel. It was ideally located for me, being minutes from the Towner Art Gallery and the sea front, yet not far to walk from the rail station and with a couple of food shops not far away (with M&S in a shopping centre near the station). I could also walk to the restaurants and bars I'd booked, including the grea new Light restaurant in the Towner Art Gallery. The bed was comfortable and the aspect meant good natural light. The apartment was well kitted out with a desk (I was working on my book some of the time) and kitchen, and the bathroom pleasant with good storage (plus decent sized wardrobe and storage in the bedroom). The room had a nice modern appearance and a lovely big screen with two armchairs plus A/C. The room/floor was quiet. The building itself is a historic one well adapted with a separate exit to avoid going through the reception each time. The reception staff were pleasant and professional.

Nothing, it met my expectations.

Had kitchen with fridge, oven, microwave and washing machine, good tv, clean linen, close to town and beach.

Had a musty smell when we arrived, we think from the bathroom drains. Air conditioner didn’t cool down the room, though it slightly blew air (probably requires professional cleaning). No replacement garbage bags were provided. Very small room and awkward to manoeuvre around especially with luggage. Behind the bathroom door, it was unfinished (trades have not finished off between tiles and door frame). Parking was not provided by the property, it is free parking on the street - little bit misleading in the listing.

Room was large with a good kitchen and dining area. Bathroom was a good size with an excellent walk in shower. A good area outside for sitting and smoking. Apartment was spotless with large bed and sitting area.

Parking is a nightmare if you get a spot and you don't have to drive while staying there leave the car parked as you probably won't get another space. That was the only problem.

stayed in 4 person apartment (2x double beds) liked the very clean kitchen and bathroom, washer dryer in kitchen if required. lift to all floors. large clean fridge and cooker/oven. clean kitchen bin.

Minor issues: dining table was a bit too large for room as one of the double beds was in the living room next to it. there was no door to the second bedroom area - just an archway (I suggest installing a curtain at least for some privacy). the rooms were heated well - a bit too hot but we turned down the temperature at the radiator control.

The room is spacious, comfortable and clean. The staff are nice and helpful. The location is good and has free parking street outside especially it is very difficult to find parking space in other hotels.

The smell of the pipe in the master toilet was bad.

Location excellent 5 min walk to the beach. Clean . Staff very helpful and polite.

It’s showing some signs of wear but wouldn’t stop us staying there again.

Was clean and inviting, the staff were helpful, and smiley. The lady who I presumed was the owner was ever so lovely, and fell in love with my dog Chester. Thank you for your help.

I need to double check my paperwork, but when I got there I was charged extra for having a dog ( I was half expecting this so budgeted for it ) I was then asked for a holding deposit, which would have eaten into my budget and I wouldn’t have been able to enjoy my time there! The lady who I presume is the owner was very kind and helpful and wavered the deposit, which I am very thankful for.

Very comfortable, well-arranged, everything I needed

Would be very helpful to have info in the room about the appliances; I needed to have the hob ‘restarted’, the batteries were flat in the room safe, the tv remotes were unreliable. I had to search online for the washing machine manual in order to find out how to unlock the door! I think you should also say on the advertising/room information that if you want to have clean sheets and your room cleaned you have to pay an extra £25.

Was not avare about a refundable deposit that needed to be paid at the premises

It was a really good stay, the kitchen had most things that was needed to cook and prep small meals. The location was perfect, not far from local amenities and the sea side. Will definitely be returning.

I was slightly disappointed with the desk in the room for work, the image had displayed a different room with a large office desk but I only ended up with a small circular desk. I took my whole setup (monitor, laptop stand, keyboard etc.) thinking it would be ideal. Still really enjoyed the stay and will be going back but this time I'll make sure the room has a bigger desk.
