I thought for the price I might regret it. It was clean, better decorated than several more upmarket hotels I stayed in lately. Plenty of hot water, Big TV if I wanted it. Room sensibly decorated. Parking would be a problem if not staying after 6 and leaving before 8.am? I think there was a bar and or cafe but did not have time for this Fairly near other eating places and seafront a stones throw. My room was up lots of stairs but I discovered a lift as I left! The only thing missing was there was a kettle, cups and saucers etc but no tea, milk or coffee in the room. They were on a good working desk and there was a full length mirror. Shower in the bath. I assume an oversight bit when I book again will make sure I bring it. Bed was fine. Bed linen spotless and good size towels.

No tea, coffee or milk..but this was a very late booking so understandable and stairs talked about but not the lift. I needed the exercise! Also good to let people know re eating and drinking at the hotel. Parking free is good but to stay to 10.am check out you need to go and feed the machine. Really though it was a much appreciated find for overnight stays.

Everything! Peaceful and super clean Room was immaculate. The reception staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. I had a lovely room with shower facilities and towels provided. Bed was very comfortable. A stones throw from the beach and a 5 min walk from the main centre. Felt very safe a solo female traveller. Staff even helped me in the evening to provide some milk and sugar :) wifi provided . Good value for last minute stay. Would 100% stay again. Thank you :)

The Hotel is well located, being opposite the Congress Theatre, 2 minutes walk to the seafront and 10-15 from the town centre shops and railway station. My room, a single en-suite overlooking Wilmington Square was of adequate size, in good decorative order , spotlessly clean . Comfortable bed, hospitality tray and colour TV. and table. No wardrobe or draw/ shelf space but a clothes rail with plenty of hangers. There is a small reception/lounge area and a licenced bar. During my stay breakfast was the only meal served but this was prepared to order and served to the table. Staff are friendly and welcoming.

I would have preferred a wardrobe and chest of drawers instead of the table, but this is only a minor issue

Room -- Excellent, except there was no drawer unit for underwear, or private items,etc Not a problem, but I have to mention it. Breakfast --- Exceptional, with a change choice, daily, if required. Location ---We attended the Eastbourne International Tennis Tournament at Devonshire Park, daily, which was situated 200 yards from the Hotel, this could not be bettered. We were treated so well, by Gyula and Jordon throughout our stay, with good interaction between us. They were brilliant. We thoroughly enjoyed their company evenings and the way they waited on us at breakfast time.

There was nothing about the Hotel we did not like, except as quoted in previous question 3 refference the Room

We stayed 2 nights. Comfortable hotel with a good cooked breakfast. Staff was friendly and accommodating. We were explained everything about parking rules (£2/day for a permit from hotel) and zones as well as how breakfast work. Our double bedroom was quite small but clean.

We were allocated room 101-near reception which was a little noisy in the morning due to the slamming door going to the breakfast area. Since 7am the slamming was starting. However for 2 nights it wasn’t too bad. Room a little expensive for what it was so not terribly good value for money.

Clean rooms. Lovely breakfast and very obliging member of staff. She provided additional quilt to lay on as the bed was too hard for me.

There weren't any parking permits available which meant feeding the meter more money that we wouldn't have had to do if they had been available. No bar facility available at hotel or access to the hotel premises until after 4pm..

The room was clean but smelled like an old disinfectant

The receptionist was very rude. Instead to give me a better alternative for the parking he said we all want free parking instead of informing the guests the car can be parked on the parade street with 7.80 pounds a day not as I payed 3.90 for 2 hours in front of the hotel. In the room were no towels it was necessary to ask for it.

The location was perfect, we could see the theatre we had booked from the window in our room! The breakfast was a 10 out of 10. Was perfectly cooked and a good size. The staff couldn't do enough for us they were lovely. Didn't get a chance to use the bar as the the show we booked didn't finish til late and the bar was closed at 10.30pm. Understandable as it was a tuesday :) .

They didn't seem to know they had a booking on that day. Maybe a lack of communucation between booking.com and the hotel?

A double room was what we ordered and had. Breakfast was always very good and hot with great service every day. Location was no more than 100 yards from the sea front and flat to walk.

The cost if you have to pay for parking, but with permit parking its only £2 per day, some roads very close to hotel you dont have to pay.

Breakfast, service and atmosphere were excellent. The staff were polite, friendly and good at their jobs. The room was small but perfect. The bar and dining area was nice and the building was nicely decorated throughout. So much nicer than the mainstream budget hotel brands.
