The lady that checked us in (Ava?) was extremely friendly and informative. Great way to start the stay. Room was clean and modern and included a Nespresso maker as well as a few complimentary sweets. Wifi worked well. The location was absolutely perfect. It has the feeling of being on a quiet street yet just 200 meters up the road you were in the heart of Old Town. You can see the castle from the hotel entrance and there is discounted parking a 2 minute walk from the hotel. It's easy for someone to state "I would stay here again", but in our case we actually did as three nights later we came back for the Edinburgh Tattoo.

The room is gorgeous - very well designed so although in a very small space, it doesn’t feel cramped. It’s sparkling clean and extremely well equipped. The car park being so close by (and discounted) was a big win for us too!

The electronic blind in our room wouldn’t open - but we were only there for one night so it didn’t matter! The pillows were pretty flimsy too - neither of us slept well but that is personal preference I suppose rather than any reflection on the accommodation. It was very expensive for what it is, but I am assuming that the price reflects that it is during the Edinburgh festival when accommodation is in short supply. I would expect to pay half the price normally.

Absolutely delighted to have picked and stayed at this property. Seriously excellent accommodation, such a high standard, great location, friendly staff and ideal for our visit. Can’t wait to book and go back again.

Everything! Booked and cancelled many different hotels in Edinburgh before settling on this one. Stayed for 4 nights in July. Staff were friendly, helpful and courteous. Location is excellent - so close to the castle (we had studio w/castle view) and many restaurants nearby. Good sized room - never felt cramped. Kitchen was great - very handy having a refrigerator, microwave and Nespresso machine. Bathroom was an adequate size and they provide separate shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Bed was comfortable and it was handy that the bed frame had big drawers underneath that we used to store our things to keep them out of the way. Loved the electronic touch controls for lights, shades (which worked great) and temperature. AC worked well. They also provide umbrellas which came in very handy. Would definitely stay here again!

Nothing to dislike.

We didn't know what to expect, but were very pleased with the accommodations, the staff, and our stay. It was very nice to be so close to the castle and that general area. This allowed us to not only have great access to the attractions of the area, but also an easily accessible respite when needed. It was absolutely lovely to have such a nice kitchenette to accommodate any needs/desires for preparing food for ourselves, as opposed to always eating out. The room was well thought out and appointed. The staff was magnificent, and were as helpful as could be when we ran into a travel hiccup with our airline carrier for our return trip. We will absolutely look here first for a room to let on any return trips to Edinburgh!

Nothing within the staff's control. They were absolute gems in reaching out once we made the booking to see if there was anything they could do to make our stay better. Each employee we interacted with was very kind, and helpful.

The location was excellent. Good for walking to most places in the old town but also relatively quiet with option of jumping on a bus in the grassmarket. Lots of shops nearby to purchase supplies. The studio was very comfortable with most things required to make the trip available. Staff were helpful and friendly

The lack of cleaning. This included emptying the bin!! Stays of 6 nights got no cleaning but 7 or more got cleaning on the 4th night which seemed odd. Given how warm the room got it would have been good to have the option to leave the rubbish outside the room for collection even. There was no replenish of tea or coffee etc no matter how long the stay - whilst stuff could be purchased from the ‘pantry’ it was super inflated so better going to the shops.

It was a great location, could see the castle from the bedroom! The staff were very friendly and approachable, offering restaurant recommendations and booking taxis no problem. It was nice to have someone on the desk 24/7 and luggage storage available.

The kitchen in the room only had herbal tea bags, for that price you would think they had an arrangement of tea options, I’ve stayed in cheaper places that do. We came back late one night and fancied a hot chocolate and was told the machine turns off early. I think they need more frequent checks on the communal bathrooms as I went into one in the lobby and there was faeces on the toilet seat and toilet roll. The other bathroom had toilet paper on the floor and water by the sink- this may of been a one time occurrence but not ideal when you quickly use the bathroom before heading to the airport.

The accomoation was just fantastic. The room was lovely. The accomodation is very centrally located to Princess Street and the Grassmarket. We were a large group there for my birthday so it was ideal for shopping,sight seeing and going out. The staff were very friendly and could not do enough. I didnt have the breakfast but it looked unreal, plenty of food to start your day. I would definetly stay there again and the people in my group would agree. I would highly recommend this accomodation to other people. Thanks for making our stay a wonderful experience.
