I genuinely don’t know why there were so many complaints about this hotel. The hotel is perfect for the a nights sleep. It’s cheap and affordable. The staff are extremely welcoming and kind . I think people are too entitled these days , complaining when it costs so little. If you’re thinking of booking it I would recommend 100%.

Amazing stay! Staff at reception, bar and restaurant are amazing and friendly. Now considering the price you pay for your stay, cannot expect it to be like a premium hotel where you have to pay MORE . I read the reviews and also go through the facilities offered by the hotel before I check-in to any hotel. There are some people who mention that the spa and other facilities are not included with the booking. ( If you kindly read through booking.com before you make your booking like I do, you do not have to be unhappy when you get there ). Also about the wifi, considering the price you pay for one night for the room alone and then you have to pay £7 a device ( this again is clearly mentioned on booking.com that wifi is accessible only in public areas for free ) , just compare the price with other hotels the same night you make your booking for, which will have wifi included and you still will be saving money here! Parking at the hotel is free for residents ( Ensure that you enter the registration on the tablet at reception ). The hotel is underway modification, so cannot really complain about the smell of paint or anything. It will look spectacular by the next time I visit 😄 I like to collect information and I would like to pass it on to the other customers. Do not get on the 'black cabs' if you are arriving from the airport as they charge a lot The Airport Inn and Spa hotel offers shuttle service (again it's not free but calculate your budget and compare with other hotels which gives it all inclusive ) Shuttle fare - £8 / person (Single journey) £14 / person (Return journey) Or you can use Uber or the hotel offers a private taxi hire for just £15. Once again, great staff. I had a lovely stay and see you again soon ! 🙂

They could do something about the spindles closure timings as it does not really help people who especially make the booking to use the facilities, considering the check-in time to the hotel. Or maybe the guests can use it before they check-in but the spindles timings are not mentioned on the website which might get people confused and annoyed when they check-in. Kindly put up some more lightings in the car parks ( a suggestion) 🤗

Every area of The Airport Inn and Spa was spotlessly clean which is our main concern when we are staying away! We found all staff to be really attentive, helpful, efficient and friendly. We had breakfast, lunch and evening meal and we found there was plenty of choice, all food was fresh, tasty and reasonably priced and service was very quick. Lots of relaxing seating areas both inside and out and plenty of free parking. The most powerful shower I have ever experienced! Good location and easy access to motorway. This hotel really is great value for money.

We had booked a last minute budget hotel so were not expecting 5*. Rooms are snug and need a little attention where they have been bashed by cases or had new furniture installed but they are spotlessly clean so we had no complaints. However, we were surprised that our room was not serviced during our stay.

Beds were well comfy staff were really lovely pool is great all staff r friendly and kind and people r all friendly ...great nature walk next to it pool sauna steam room jacuzzi is there in another building u can access thru the hotel and the bar menu for food and drink is on from 12pm till late and the breakfast buffet is fab loads choose from 7am till 9.30 there's also table tennis pool squash courts and pool table in the pool jacuzzi building and a bar if yr into yr keep fit stuff

Rooms r small and u pay extra for pool ect as its in another building across very small car park .. 5 pound but u can go in and out all day so not bad at all

Excellent value for money but the place does need an upgrade. Like the carpets

Spa and the cost.

I thought it was very clean and stylish, the night we arrived a young man greeted at the desk, my family and myself, he also served us with drinks and food very pleasant, this was Thursday 6th June 2024, the breakfast is a bit much at £12 each I know i didn't eat that much, again the staff was pleasant, the Friday was meal was also a pleasant experience, but the day of departure the 8th, breakfast wasnt so good, it was obvious the breakfast staff was in a very bad mood, and was very rude to two customers, her attitude was really bad towards this lady and her friend, then when it was reported, the entrance staff was even more rude, I must admit that did put me off a bit, the staff were really disrespectful towards these two ladies which had paid to stay there, they were definitely in the wrong, I was wondering why they are getting low ratings, until that happened, then I knew why, it's not the place so much but the staff, they're bringing the place down, some of them, only the two working Saturday morning, on the desk, and serving breakfast, should be reprimanded, and sent on a course of customer service, other than that it was fine nice place would stay there again really recommend it ***

The morning staff, we're very rude

The food we ate at the bar was good value for money with a great choice. The room was comfortable. Bathroom was great. Went to use pool and spa. Good facilities there.

Very little information regarding facilities. None in room. Never seen this before. Had to go to spa to find out costs and routine. Room has notices about extension numbers but no phone. Car park was a nightmare. Fined for parking there during my stay. Eventually they removed the charge. Still not sure whether you are supposed to register everything you come and go, or everyday or whatever.

Fantastic breakfast , staff are friendly and helpful, this is the 2nd time staying here and for the price we paid it was a bargain. Onsite spa at an additional cost of £5 which has a bar and viewing area of the pool . Unwind before your flight and then get the shuttle bus to manchester airport ( close enough to the airport, but not too close that you are disturbed by the aircraft noise . Ticks all boxes for me and the wife and we will be staying again shortly .

Absolutely perfect for our short break in the area as we needed somewhere to stay for a couple of nights. All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel room was a great size with a very comfortable bed and all the bits and pieces that help make a stay more comfortable- plenty of tea and coffee , a hair dryer, clean towels, body wash and soap. All you can eat buffet breakfast had a superb range of choices and kept us full until dinner time. I had read some of the ratings before we went but couldn't possibly agree with them as this was a welcoming, comfortable hotel that we would happily return to if we had reason to again.

Can't pretend the evening meals are cordon blue but perfectly adequate- we ate in both evenings as I didn't want to drive out to Wilmslow but we could have gone to a range of places there if we chose to as it is not far in a car. The building decor is a little jaded and plenty of little jobs need doing to spruce up the worn out woodwork paint and clean up the stonework/ path at the front of the building but these are only cosmetic details that a bit of elbow grease could put right in a jiffy. My only comment of any significance would be that the room was too hot at times which seems quite churlish in the current cost of living crisis as it felt wrong opening the window with the heating on as we would never do this at home!

Reception staff very friendly and helpful, room was basic but clean and comfortable we were a bit worried after reading some reviews so to clear a few things up: There is an airport shuttle which is £8 per person, there were 4 of us so we were told it would be cheaper to get a taxi - it was, £16 to the airport. Car parking - first night is free then £5 per night after that, very reasonable. Swimming pool and sauna is £5 per person for hotel residents. We ate in the hotel bar and food was decent quality, there is also a restaurant on site but has a smaller selection of food.

Nothing, everything as we wanted and expected, glad we ignored the negative reviews
