It has a tennis court which my kids loved. Court are not in the best of conditions but was a great addition activity. The pool and spa facilities were really nice the view from the pool is stunning. They also have still and sparkling water dispensers on each floor which I thought was a nice touch

The only thing I wasn’t keen on was the way they served the cooked breakfast which unlike the continental wasn’t buffet. If they insist on serving it instead of putting it out, it shouldn’t be so restrictive. People should have the options to choose individual items rather than a full dish when they don’t want half the things included

Classic king room was spacious and light with 2 windows, 2 comfy chairs and large TV , Elemis toiletries, good sized bathroom (shower over bath). Large glass jug and nearby corridor water fountain for still and sparkling water instead of single use plastic bottles , great idea. Breakfast, good selection, cooked hot to your order. Spa facilities good with large pool. Friendly staff.

Room location ( 151) corridors on 3 sides, the 2 windows looked onto an enclosed service area, to the laundry. The laundry trolleys came in to the side corridor. Via a heavy door, (also used by guests to another block) which was very noisy at times, also both nights unsupervised children were using the upstairs corridor as a running track as late as 10:30pm, only stopped after reported to reception. Booked a Classic King Room which was good value for money. Added bonus was having a bath and shower. Bed was huge and very comfortable. Breakfast choices were plentiful in regard to cereals, yoghurt, fresh fruits, cheese and charcuterie. Hot breakfasts cooked to order. Staff were welcoming, friendly and efficient.

Having informed the hotel (when we made our booking) that we were travelling with our small dog we were informed that they would charge an additional £15 for our booking, which we reluctantly accepted. However, on arrival, we were informed that their policy had changed and that this charge would now be £20! After a short discussion with the duty manager this extra £5 was duly waived. We dined at the hotel and had an enjoyable meal. However, £11.50 for a 250ml glass of Sauvignon Blanc was a bit steep!!

The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was large and well appointed. The bathroom was a good size with an over bath shower. I personally would have preferred a walk in shower The breakfast was adequate but not spectacular. Hot breakfast was ordered and then delivered to the table. Continental breakfast was set out on a table, it was pretty spartan. We ate in the restaurant one evening. The meal was OK but the restaurant itself was cool and lacked atmosphere.

The lift hadn’t worked for several days and we were on the second floor with two large cases. The reception staff did offer to help but I was reluctant to ask a slight young lady to lug my cases. The carpets in some public areas were tired and threadbare.

Second stay at the MacDonald Inchyra and we weren't disappointed. Little mix up with the room we had booked but was sorted immediately and the room we got was second to non. I have to say the receptionist Zoe was absolutely fantastic and very helpful. Definitely deserves credit for her friendly manner and always having a smile on her face.

We stayed for two nights and ate at the Scottish steakhouse, staff were fantastic for our evening meal. The Monday morning staff were a little underwhelming, forgetting to take our coffee and toast order and with a bit of a downbeat attitude. Tuesday morning the staff were fantastic so may have been Monday morning syndrome possibly but we got the feeling it was the young lady in charge on Tuesday that was the difference, all smiles and very friendly. Didn't catch her name but she was a great credit to the hotel.

My room was quiet , comfortable and spacious enough to work from. There was a sizeable desk with 2 power points. I stayed in the lodge and my room was very quiet and the bed extremely comfortable. Shower was spacious and powerful and the Elemis complimentary products were an extra bonus. The reception team were all lovely and friendly , and very helpful. I met some colleagues there for a catch up and the reception and restaurant were super spacious , tea and coffee was reasonably priced and the service was attentive and speedy. My breakfast was the best hotel breakfast I can remember ever eating ( just poached eggs , toast and tomato) and it really set me up for a great day ...

The drinks & food we had were lovely & the bar staff super friendly & welcoming.

The fact we were put in the “lodge” with a tiny bed, the room was small but could accommodate a bigger bed. At no point when we booked were we told we wouldn’t be in the hotel. The bathroom was clean on first look but had the start of pink stains in a few spots & behind the sink wasn’t cleaned at all. The receptionist on check out was not pleasant, just took our key & walked off. Didn’t even ask if we enjoyed our stay extremely grumpy.

staff were lovely, very welcoming and accommodating. the restaurant dinner was fantastic and breakfast was delicious as-well. overall price was brilliant for what was included, swimming pool and steam rooms were perfect for relaxing. nice big towels provided aswell and shower in room was brilliant.

room wasn’t great, very dated and only managed to get a couple of Chanel’s out of the tv as all the rest had no signal. pillows were not comfortable but that’s just personal taste so can’t fault ! bathroom fan kept making a clattering noise and the toilet cistern rattled during the night. only 2 sockets available aswell which wasn’t ideal.

We found this place while looking for a hotel to stay at while visiting the Kelpies. Super friendly staff who couldn't do enough for us. Every staff member we met was a credit to the hotel. The room we stayed in was extremely spacious and the bed was super comfy. The Sauna, steam room and pool were spot on too and a nice touch being included with our stay. Most hotels charge extra for these facilities but the MacDonald Inchyra make them available for all guests which is a really nice touch. The breakfast was by far the best we've had and we've stayed at a lot of hotels the length and breadth of the UK. We're already looking at returning in January. Perfectly situated for a whole host of sights and tourist destinations.

Love this place so much and have been a few times already. The rooms are super comfortable and spacious and the spa facilities amazing. Perfect for a quiet retreat to just recharge and get away from everything. The bathroom was really large, the shower and bath very nice to sit and relax in. Everthing was very neat and clean and in general just cosy and relaxing. The curtains were a bonus as they did an excellent job at blocking out any light when it was time for a snooze. The staff at front desk were super welcoming and made checking in and checking out an easy and straight forward affair.
