The lodge is well laid out, has all the amenities for a comfortable stay: well equipped kitchen with dishwasher, washing machine/dryer, wifi, television, nice bathroom with good shower. We were very pleasantly surprised to find tissues in each bedroom, shampoo/shower gel/conditioner in the bathroom (and not just one of each, but lots more in the cupboard). Also found tea, coffee, sugar, cookies and milk as well as dishwasher and washing machine tabs!!! Our usual experience is to not find anything at all in self catering rentals, so this was a very nice change. The family was very responsive to our questions, quickly solved an internet connection issue and came by personally to check if all was ok.

Our cabin was newly renovated so it was very clean and pretty much kitted out how we would have done it (decor and all) with everything you need in the kitchen, daughter loved the bunk bed, the weather was pretty brutal but we weren’t even that bothered because we were so comfortable and warm inside hanging out. Liked the fact it was family ran and there was horses on site you could ride for a discounted price.

Not so much the property but was disappointed about the kids play area (set of swings and a balloon that wasn’t inflated because of the rain) , but after conversation with the owner you realise why it’s not there anymore.

Good value and location for travelling back from Scotland. Well equipped lodge and lovely living and kitchen space, bathroom and balcony. Very clean lodge. The kitchen facilities were excellent.

The sofas were not comfy, nor were the beds. Need to buy less cushions and invest in new mattresses and sofas. The bed linen also needs updating. The double bedroom was tight for space. You felt every spring of the mattress. Every movement on one of the single mattresses made loud creaky noises.

Smoothest check in ever. Lodges look good from outside but when you enter def has the wow factor. Quality fixture and fittings throughout with everything you need on hand. Towels, cleaning materials, toilet rolls etc all provided. Everything was spotless and cleaned to a high standard. Will def return and recommend to family, friends and colleagues.

A tad let down that the childrens play area did not resemble pictures we saw online as this was one of the main reasons this location was chosen.

Stylish welcoming interior, good heating radiators for the winter condition. Comfortable beds and sofas, plenty of kitchen utensils enough for the cooking we did, all kitchen appliances are in good working order. Good TV unit and lights, a good WC/shower room.

It would be great to have a hanger by the entrance for the coats for cold weather condition; not convenient to get them all the way to wardrobes in the bedrooms especially when they are wet and better be dried first. The WiFi connection will drop out every now and then.

Tastefully decorated, comfy & well equipped self catering accommodation for a family of four including picnic table on veranda & lovely views of fields full of horses outside. Great facilities including washing machine, clothes horse etc. Also lots of activities on site: children's play areas & giant bouncing pillow, horse riding, fishing etc. Also close to Stirling, great for visiting Stirling Castle & also the Falkirk Wheel & the Kelpies sculpture in Falkirk.

A bit close to some main roads so not quite as quiet & peaceful as it would have been otherwise but still a pretty nice & peaceful location to stay.

I booked a lodge for the night before my wedding and omg I was welcomed with a card flowers and a bottle of bubbly, The bedrooms are a good size beautiful kitchen and living area, stunning scenery, you can tell the owners take pride in there lodges as they were beautiful and very clean, I really enjoyed my stay thank you for having me, I look forward to booking again xx

Absolutely nothing can't fault the place in anyway, everything was perfect

Absolutely fantastic stay. We used this as our base for a weekend at Knockhill and with being only 30 minutes from circuit it was perfect. Stirling and falkirk on doorstep with all facilities you could need and more. Site is beautiful and surrounding areas lovely. Cabin was clean and spacious and beds were so comfortable I never normally sleep when away but I certainly did here. Cabin had everything we needed and the kids loved the park even if it did rain non stop but overall was a fantastic stay and we will be back again.

We had no issues and everything was perfect.

The lodge was great and facilities for kids really good. I broke my leg and was due to take kids to Turkey the next day which I had to cancel. As we missed our holiday away I booked somewhere close by that would keep the kids entertained while I could also rest. Wellsfield farm was very accommodating especially on short notice and no availability for horse riding they managed to fit my four kids in for a group session for an hour where each of the kids had a horse each which they thoroughly enjoyed. The park kept them entertained and the inflatable pillow was something different from your usual park and the kids loved it. The fishing wasn’t too bad although we never caught anything it was still a lovely day and we enjoyed the weather and scenery next to the bait pond. Robert

We absolutely loved our stay here , it was to celebrate my partner’s birthday , we wanted somewhere to relax and unwind . The location was perfect with stunning views , the lodge was one of the cleanest places I’ve stayed , absolutely immaculate! Nothing was too much trouble for the owners , infact I had originally booked wrong dates and the owner swapped it for me and put me at ease right away . We had the most delicious takeaway from the cotton house and had an amazing , comfortable, relaxing stay , will definitely return one day !
