From the moment we walked in to the moment we left, the staff were sensational! Super friendly and accommodating, everyone always welcoming you through the door with a smile. The food was delicious (especially the Sunday Roast!) and always came out promptly. Centrally located made this place super easy to get the buses and trains and there was a lovely walk (about an hour) along the canal to the Falkirk Wheel, showcasing views of the beautiful town. Given the location, we didn’t have any issues with noise either. The hotel is really well priced for what you get and gives you a real local feel. Special mention to Dawn (Canadian lady) and Connor who helped answer any questions we had about the area. Definitely recommend this place!

The location is perfect - very close to the train station, restaurants and town centre. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The included warm breakfast is a great value. The staff was very open to customizing the breakfast menu to suit our wishes and dietary requirements.

There were no soap holders in the bathroom and no hangers to hang my towel on. It was very hot when I visited Falkirk and there is no air-conditioner. We kept the windows open, but there was big noise coming from the outdoor seatings of the pub bellow. I was tired and slept well, but it might be a nuisance for somebody else.

Bed/pillows super comfy ,, good location above the pub restaurant where the staff were all very helpful and friendly ,, everywhere was very clean and fresh, lamp in the room and smart tv, nice touch was the fridge with complimentary water and iron bru in it.

Went down for breakfast there but sadly no vegetarian option available ,, offered toast but declined as wanted a full breakfast, so just drove to the premier up the road, so not a big deal but a shame as the evening meal we had there the night before was beautiful where there was a veggie burger option so hopefully they will add similar to the breakfast in the future.

The hotel is in the centre of Falkirk, A good serving of breakfast in the morning.. Comfortable clean double bed...

There's nothing that I particularly disliked about the hotel, the room was a quaint shape, and could be upgraded more.

Very good location to see the kelpie and access to main roads. The room was basic but very clean we were on a 1 night stop over for travelling up to the Highlands. We had an evening meal which was really delicious and we were able to have our puppy with us. He was given water and biscuits and made a fuss of. Breakfast was also really delicious and lots of it. All the staff were really friendly and helpful.

The room we saw took us by surprise as it looked as if it was a function room for karaoke it had a glitter ball! 2 pull out beds. But it was really clean and the beds comfortable, it was quirky. Car parking was free at the back of the pub and free. It was good value for money.

The Orchard Hotel was ideal for us as we came up for the rugby. We liked the small fridge in every room which the staff put sandwiches bottle water and cans of pop in and refilled every day that was lovely . The manager and bar staff were all very nice and friendly and accommodating nothing was too much trouble. The food in the restaurant was very good and a nice selection of drinks. We will most definitely be returning and will recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Falkirk

The spiral staircase you had to be very careful when waking up and down them they could be slippery if it was wet outside as you had to walk down the spiral stairs to the toilets. The only other thing when the hotel was closed you had to come in the back entrance and it should of been more lightening to see where you were going

Really enjoyed our stay here. unexpected as I assumed it to be a run of the mill hotel with bar area. Quirky well themed place with a fab vibe. Large rear beer garden, semi large front beer garden, bar and restaurant area, lots of quirky areas to sit actually, lots of quirky ornaments and pics everywhere which was a feast for the eyes and kept us entertained. Free car park at rear, decent sized room with mini fridge, everything catered for. Welcomed on arrival from barman and waitress who were both so down to earth and friendly and attentive, made sure we were comfortable. My daughter in particular loved staying here as they made us so relaxed, felt like we lived there :) and there was no awkward stuffiness, they’re a great team! Had dinner in the bar and the food was amazing and we struggled to finish it. Had a pretty much restful nights sleep, all in a great place and we can’t wait to go back.

Only area to improve was the mattresses are pretty much comfortable enough, but noisy, could do with replacement, woke the other up when one of us moved. Other than that no issues at all and would deffo return.

4 night stay for the rugby, David and all his staff were great and made us very welcome. Good choice for breakfast and good food. We went out on our travels every day but looked forward to returning to the hotel bar and restaurant and was entertained. We will book again. We stayed Thursday to Monday ,breakfast was from 08.00 each morning except on the Monday when we found out it was 10.00. So suggest that the restaurant opening times are in the room info.

The staff were really attentive and welcoming, and they gave our dog lots of attention. The bar was really cosy and a lovely place to grab a drink with some live music. We didn’t have any food but what I saw coming out looked really tasty and fresh. The room came with a mini fridge and tea and coffee making facilities and there was space to hang your clothes and use drawers and shelves. Free Wifi and parking was very handy. Really great place to stay if you have a dog with you.

The mattress was very firm, just not right for me but I’m sure it would be suitable for others.

Every single staff member I meant was super nice and accommodating. Lovely people that work there! Also, the bathroom was quite nice and modern. Also, good location near the train station and local eating places.

The room was a bit dated. The mattress across from the one I slept on had stains on it. They could do with new mattresses and new furniture. New towels would be nice as well as those were a bit thin.
