The breakfast was absolutely lovely and all 5 of us that stayed really enjoyed it including our 6 year old little boy. You could have cereal or toast or a full English breakfast or pick what cooked stuff you would like and that's what you would get. Tea, coffee and fresh apple, orange and tropical juice all included with breakfast aswell. All staff very welcoming and very polite and happy to help with anything we needed. Would definitely stay here again. Location was perfect for what we needed as we stayed for 2 nights for a friend's wedding just 10 minutes down the road.

Absolutely no complaints all was really good.

Great staff and we were lucky enough to book in when burger night was on. Had a pint and a nice burger. In the morning we had breakfast with a choice between continental and full English which I opted for and it was freshly prepared, tasty with the bacon cooked just as I like it , was a great start to the day. A good breakfast

Som reviews mentioned the traffic as It's close to a main roundabout, but we had a room at the rear and didn't hear a thing ! But when in the bar or restaurant there is no traffic noise. It could probably do with a freshen up, but it's an old building with a certain charm and character to the place. Clean beds, bathroom friendly staff and good food means that when we have to go to the area again we will go back.

As soon as we walked in we were greeted by a lovely friendly lady and check in was easy. The reception area and stairs smelt beautiful not sure of the scent but it was clean and fresh. The room was clean and airy . The bathroom was clean but a little small but we only stayed 2 nights. The breakfast was delicious and hot and Leon was friendly and helpful. Although he was busy he made time to chat and answer our questions. My husband and I would definitely stay again, the hotel is very handy for visiting my elderly mum. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Nothing loved the quirky place

The outside was so pretty, the room we had with 3 single beds was clean and tidy. The staff were exceptionally lovely and so helpful. The breakfast was absolutely amazing 10/10. it was conveniently located for us as we were visiting family and for £98 for 3 (1 adult and 2 kids) was worth it.

It’s such a shame, the outside is so pretty, The property is in need of a complete update, our room had a broken mirror, broken bath panel, mould in bathroom, the shower head needs descaling, one light was working for the mirror in bedroom. Had a musty smell in the hallway upstairs:

My partner and I were visiting friends, and booked this hotel. We did go round the magic roundabout three times before we found the entrance. Once on arrival we were greeted by very friendly staff, the room was comfortable and clean, the breakfast was awesome, the Bar was open until late.Very good value

Location for me, we really struggled at night to get back to the hotel, we are new to the area, everything else was very good. I would maybe not have the telly and music on at the same time in the Bar, not sure what I was suppose to be listening too. bit of a racket

It is true that it is an old building but that only adds to its charm. The room was very comfortable. Large bed with beautiful white cotton sheets, nice soft towels and very clean. As the name suggests it is on a roundabout so there is some noise but in our room we heard nothing. The breakfast was outstanding and the meal in the evening was very nice too. All in all very good value for money. The staff were very friendly and efficient. We had a dog and it was no problem at all. It does get busy and parking is limited, but we didn’t have to wait long for a space. Have no hesitation in recommending this hotel.

Nothing.

The location was an excellent base for us to go off and explore the area. The hotel and rooms were clean and tidy. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The meals were all lovely and good sized portions. The parking was good, although a bit of a tight corner to get around. Overall, we would definitely recommend and stay again 😀

The beds for us we found a little uncomfortable with the pillows feeling flat. The lamb pie that we had for our evening meal tasted a little too salty, but still nice. Could do with some conditioner and shampoo in the bathroom, although body wash was available.

We were reasonably late checking in having arrived on a ferry from Spain but the staff were friendly and even showed us to our room. We were travelling with two dogs and the room was amply big enough for all of us. The bed was very comfortable and the ensuite shower room was clean. Breakfast choices were good - fairly basic food but tasty. We would definitely stay again if in the area.

The shower didn't have a thermostatic valve so it was difficult to adjust and maintain the temperature but it wasn't a massive issue.

This is the 3rd time we have stayed. Staff are always friendly and helpful especially Leo. We were given room 9 this time which was bigger than the other 2 rooms we have had and was much appreciated. The hotel is dated, but for the price, you can't complain. The rooms look like they have been refurbished in the not too distant past, and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom could do with modernisation but was clean and functional. Price included breakfast with a choice of cereal, fruit juice and either continental or full English with plenty of tea or coffee. Great location, just a short walk into Fareham. Thank you everyone 👍

Lovely old property, creaky floorboards in hallways, old wood beams and plastered walls! Smallish bedroom, but adequate for overnight stay. Bar downstairs, open log fire in the corner. (October stay). Great cooked breakfast to set us up for the day on our travels. Staff very friendly.

It was dark when we arrived, and it was really difficult finding the place, we don't have GPS in the car - (but thankfully a local gentleman walking nearby was kind enough to give us good directions). Blackout curtains in the bedroom. The lights from outside were shining in. Noise from traffic, (but earplugs solved that problem).
