Free parking to rear of the hotel, Lift to all floors, Room was fitted out well with TV and good sized shower room, The breakfast was excellant served with fried bread which is very rare at many establishments, the staff were all very friendly and helpful, a nice bar that sold bottled beers and spirits. This hotel is right opposite the Harbour Train station and opposite the bus terminus. The Hotel is only a 2-3 minute walk to Gunwharf Quays and the Spinnacker Tower.

Absolutely loved the location, so handy for the whole harbour area - Gunwharf Quays, ferries to Isle of Wight, bus and train stations and Historic Dockyard. Free parking too. Lovely staff, excellent breakfasts, nice room - we had a compact double which, although fairly small, had lots of wardrobe and drawer space, and we could see HMS Warrior from the window!

Nothing to dislike. Some noise from the buses and nearby pubs with outside space, but it was very hot weather so we had the window open. 99% of the time you'd have the window closed anyway, and that would keep all the noise out.

Went by train from my home town in South Wales one change at Cardiff Central and then straight to Portsmouth Harbour Station (4 hours travel plus 1 hour wait in Cardiff), so would have been unhappy with additional travel. The Hotel is directly opposite the train /bus station, so exit cross the road at the main pedestrian crossing point and straight through the hotel door.

The hotel has a cafe which is open to the general public and is also the dining room for residents, that's fine. But No Bar and I needed a cold pint after the journey down. Get a Bar ASAP!!! However only less than 50 meters was your typical old English pub serving excellent food and real ales and ice cold cider (happy days)..

Our second stay at the Ship Leopard. It is in a superb position for visiting the Historic Dockyard and a short walk away from Gunwharf Quays where there is a shopping outlet and plenty of eating places. It is also convenient for the Isle of Wight ferry. The staff are lovely and very helpful. We have had no problem finding a parking space in the on site secure parking and the directions to reach it were very helpful (though a quick look on Street View beforehand is useful). Excellent breakfast with plenty of choice.

There is no option to dine on site, but that's not a problem as there are plenty of eating places nearby.

Great stay at the Ship Leopard Boutique Hotel. Stayed there the weekend of Victorious Festival - we arrived early and were unable to check-in, however we could drop our bags and check-in after the festival finished as the reception is manned 24/7. Location is great... just a few mins walk from Portsmouth Harbour train station and Gunwharf Quays. Walk to Victorious Festival on Southsea Common was approx 20-30 mins. Room was great. We had a top floor room which had views overlooking Spinnaker Tower and HMS Warrior. Staff were all really friendly and accommodating, which made the stay that much better.

Location was fantastic. Just across the road from HMS Warrior and entry to the Portsmouth Historic Dockyard. Heaps to eat for breakfast!! Lots of cold options before being asked what we wanted for the cooked breakfast! A real asset with this property! Staff were warm, welcoming and very accommodating! Will definitely stay there again!!

Can’t highlight anything to you that comes to mind. Everything was ready when we arrived. We had an early checkout before 6am. Breakfast starts at 7am and they got the night porter to give us a full array of the Continental breakfast with tea and coffee! Much appreciated and wasn’t expected! Wonderful customer service!😊

Lovely modern spacious suite with ample cupboard space. The bathroom was large and the shower was roomy with a great flow and perfect temperature. The overall decor was very tastefully done in a monochrome style. The breakfast was very tasty and well presented in a lovely, light-filled room.

The traffic was a bit noisy first thing in the morning with buses working their way along the side of the hotel and out on to the main road, however, we did have the windows open to keep cool. The noise is not a great surprise as the hotel is well positioned close to all the shops, restaurants and pubs.

Extremely well located to access bus station, railway station and shopping mall, Gunwharf Quays, with many restaurants. Car park immediately behind the hotel has limited residents' parking but thankfully did find a parking space. The hotel appears to have been refurbished and is spotlessly clean and pleasant with complimentary bathroom toiletries. Room had double aspect windows allowing fresh flow of air in the high temperatures. Breakfast was more than adequate. Buses passing under my room windows could be a disturbance if noise sensitive but all the above more than outweighed any annoyance. Really enjoyed my stay.

Great experience from the moment we checked in. The gentleman on reception was very welcoming and even called up to the room to check we were happy with the accomodation. The room was hot on arrival but a fan was provided so with that and pulling the curtains, it cooled down nicely by the time we went to bed. The bed was very comfortable, a great size and the bedding clean and fresh. The bathroom was outstanding, i saw the pictures online but didnt think for a minute our room would have the amazing bath tub. Plenty of selection for breakfast and i liked the fact the cooked breakfast was brought to the table instead of self service. Would defenetly stay there again

The silicone in the shower could do with being replaced as its looking grubby

The hotel offers secure parking at the back of their building - ideal when one's car is fully loaded for a European trip and one simply needs to lift out an overnight bag. Our booking included breakfast; however, we had an early ferry departure the morning after our overnight stay. I phoned the hotel to ask if they could help with this. "Not a problem": - A continental breakfast was available from 06:00; it could be booked on arrival. Sure enough, our continental breakfast was ready to be served as soon as we appeared, just after 06:00. Excellent, friendly service, good facilities and very convenient for restaurants and the ferry port.
