Room very comfortable- newly refurbished with excellent bed and shower. Room attended every day with fresh bottled water, biscuits, chocolate etc. Excellent free WiFi. All staff we met were friendly and very helpful. Plenty of parking near the rooms. Good value for money. Would definitely return.

Minor comments on breakfast. Muesli availability first day but not the following two - important for us. Good selection of cooked breakfast, but could improve scrambled egg which was reconstituted, and better quality bread. Otherwise good.

Superb XV century country house, with harmonizing newer wings. Beautifully located in South Downs National Park, which makes it great for start exploring the park. Breakfast is fabulous with many options for any diet. Spa and gym with many equipment. Wonderful covered swimming pool with Whirpool.

Although it is not far from Haslemere, It is located in a road without sidewalks, which makes the journey extremely dangerous for pedestrians. The lunch and dinner menu is somehow limited. Therefore, if you don’t have a car, as it was our case, you get bored after two meals. Aside from this issue, everything is great.

The hotel exuded a delightful transformation, as if it had just undergone a rejuvenating makeover. The staff's exceptional service added an extra layer of charm to the experience! I wholeheartedly endorse it for those seeking a refreshing two-day getaway from the bustling city life.

Our room was without a mini bar or fridge, prompting us to ingeniously employ a bucket and purchase ice to uphold the coolness of our belongings. Additionally, the discomfort associated with the sofa bed's seating quality led us to predominantly utilize the primary bed.

Could not fault a thing. The hotel was very clean and well maintained. The room was comfortable and reasonably quiet. There was a large choice of foods for breakfast. The food was fresh and well presented. The little touches, i.e. complimentary bottle of water and a various choice of tea/coffee in the room. All the staff were friendly, helpful and highly professional. Beautiful scenery. Easy to get to other places, whether it be by car or bus (which stopped near the hotel).

If only someone would invent hotel doors that closed quietly (haha).

The room was absolutely perfect and the area is stunning. The hotel is currently being renovated but that didn’t impact our stay. we’ve stayed in the older part of the hotel (king suite) and this stay was in the newly refurbished side and we were not disappointed. The rooms are extremely comfortable, great value for money and the staff couldn’t do enough for us while we were staying there. We will definitely be booking another break soon.

The sauna was out of order which was not in the control of the hotel, would have been better to be informed. But wasn’t an issue to be honest.

General location, staff, and the function area. Not being able to sum i my experience!!!!( below)

Did not like my bed, an intermittent buzzer sound coming from the air con in the room throughout the night. ( rm 108)We needed to leave the venue early due to a hospital visit and so missed breakfast. On booking all this was discussed and that an adjustment would be made. This did not happen. In fact i was initially asked to pay again despite checking out. Finally path leading to the pagoda was a hazzard leading to a fall.

The room was lovely and clean, bed very comfortable. The lady at reception was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was outstanding and the grounds very beautiful.

We could not see any signs as to where to go to reception and had to ask another guest the same went for where to go for breakfast and had to ask a workman. There was no guest information folder in the room giving any details about the hotel or the local area etc which would have been helpful.

Everything. Luxury towels, shower and gorgeous complimentary shower products. Bed exceptionally high comfort wonderful night's sleep. I came down to visit family close by but would have been happy to stay in room in the day. Breakfast was delicious and I was made to feel very welcome by lovely staff.

Stairs to room were very steep to carry case.up and bring it down. Pot hole outside entrance to my room full of water and large stones there too - family picked me up outside reception to avoid this.

Loved the old style build but at the same time up to date and comfortable room. Lovely views, nice swimming pool with sauna and steaming room, amazing rural location, super clean and comfortable bed.

The only inconvenience I would say we had, is that there was a wedding and in the morning the breakfast room was packed, had to queue from everything and would have been nice that the guests for the wedding had a special room separated from the rest of the guests. The restaurant was quite small for the capacity of the guests.

Nice grounds and beautiful views of the Surrey Hills. Excellent breakfast. Good range of menu options in the restaurant and well presented and tasty food. Good pool, sauna and steam room in the spa. Great location. Very reasonable price.

No electric car charging point. No robes in the spa unless you had booked a spa day - you could hire one for £15!!!! Communal areas and stairs in the Tudor building needed a good hoover and weren't cleaned during our stay.
