I needed a 3 night stay in Flamborough close to Bempton cliffs for the wildlife photography. I couldn't have been happier with Crab pot cottage, an absolutely stunning cottage B&B The host was just brilliant & helpful, the breakfast was plentiful, with orange juice cereals toast & as much coffee as you wanted. The room was just spotless & with lovely furniture. With a huge bathroom with a bath and off-street parking This place is a real gem & a credit to the hosts, I will Deffo be staying there again without a doubt.

Nothing to dislike.

Everything was just perfect. We were made most welcome from the minute that we stepped through the door and positive vibe continued throughout our 3 day stay. The room was very clean and the bed was a great size and very comfortable. The room itself was a good size with plenty of storage complete with a good sized wall mounted tv. The bathroom was more than big enough and the shower was brilliant with a good water pressure. Breakfast was delicious with a great choice and the staff on hand were more than helpful. All in all we had a superb mini break and 'Katrina and Krew' really do know how to make people feel welcome and at ease.

There are no negatives, just all positives!

Nicely decorated and furnished B&B, clean. Very Friendly owner. Very good breakfast made to order. Free off-street parking in the driveway behind the cottage.

The room and bathroom were very small. We had requested their superior size room with a king size bed. The bed, and especially the bathroom, were very small and the pillows were flat. Extremely small (cruise ship size) shower stall. Don't expect to take a shower unless you are a slim person.

We asked gor an early check in as we were going to a wedding at Sewerby Hall and needed to get changed into our wedding outfits instead of travelling in them. They were very accommodating and let us check in at 11.00am instead of 2pm. The room was clean and the breakfast was lovely. We would definitely recommend Crab Pot Cottage.

Location is very central and it was good that we were able to park easily on the road.

Location - spot on! Plenty of pubs and places to eat within short walking distance. Supermarket also close by. Breakfast was delicious and cooked fresh to order. Fresh milk available for tea and coffee in room. Car parking on roadside or inside paved area. Excellent value for money.

All good. Only thing, stairs are narrow/steep, if limited mobility (however there is one room on the ground floor).

This was a perfect spot for us to stay for one night on our bike tour of Yorkshire and good value for money. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was very good.

The room was a little stuffy as only one small window could be opened. I could not find a way to open the larger window. Unfortunately I found the mattress way too bouncy and the pillow like sleeping on marbles!

Lovely greeting by the host, very friendly and personable. The room was clean, comfortable and a great size, the ensuite was perfect. Fresh milk at all times for hot drinks which was a nice touch. The breakfast was cooked to order, it was fresh, well presented and delicious 😋 A fabulous overnight stay- highly recommend 👍

Nothing Fantastic place Great value Perfect location

Breakfast was perfect; plenty of choice, quality food, well cooked and hot. Refills of anything we wanted. The location was perfect for us as we wanted to visit Bempton cliffs. Flamborough cliffs were also within walking distance. Good choice of hostelries for food and drink in and around the village aswell as a few shops, pharmacy and doctors surgery. Quiet and peaceful especially at night.

The only downside was the steep staircase to our room but there is one ground floor room.

Crab Pot Cottage is in the heart of Flamborough within easy walking distance of 3 pubs serving evening meals, one restaurant and one cafe which closes at 3pm. An excellent location. We ate at the The Ship Inn which was very good with home made food and had a lunch at Copperfields cafe which, again, was excellent. The breakfast at Crab Pottage Cottage was excellent with food cooked to order. Servings were generous to say the least and the breakfast really set us up for the day. Our room was very comfortable with all the usual facilities and an en suite shower room. The owner was absolutely lovely and nothing was too much trouble for her.

The shower room to our bedroom was rather small and I asked the owner if this was the case with all the rooms. I was told that the other rooms - there are a total of 4 - have larger bathrooms. That said, the shower room was perfectly adequate with plenty of hot water and a very good shower.
