We loved everything about this beautiful 200 year old property! From when we were greeted at the door by Harry and Nicola to when we were saying our goodbyes! Our suite, which encompassed a 4 poster bed, a seating area with tea and coffee making facilities, a television that did not mar the aesthetics of the room and the commodious bathroom consisting of a large shower, WC, beautiful capacious Victorian bath and his and hers sinks, was breathtakingly beautiful, spacious, exceptionally clean, very well equipped and so, so peaceful with lovely views of the gardens and the surrounding countryside that could be enjoyed from the balcony! Harry and Nicola were exceptional hosts, friendly, thoughtful, helpful and knowledgeable! They had thought of everything to make our stay a real home from home! Breakfast was delicious! From the real pomegranate juice shot, to the raspberries, blackberries (or were they lingonberries, as they were quite large!) and figs, direct from the garden! Together with the selection of cereals, yogurts etc and the very tasty "Welsh breakfast" perfectly cooked with plenty of toast, home made jams and marmalade, tea and coffee, we were not disappointed! The only down side was that we were only staying for one night! A B&B this good certainly deserves a longer stay! Thank you Harry and Nicola, you certainly made our 35th anniversary celebration so much better than we thought it would be! We will definitely be back!

There really was nothing we disliked about this exceptionally beautiful B&B!

We were greeted on the driveway by Nicola who was a lovely host, we were shown around the house and then taken to our room which exceeded our expectations. We used the games room to play cards and the sitting room for afternoon coffee. The room was super comfy. Breakfast consisted of fresh fruit, various cereal and granola/yoghurt. Freshly brewed tea and coffee served at the table. The hot breakfast choices were plentiful, I had the scrambled eggs and smoked salmon and my partner had the same with grilled eggs, one of the best breakfasts we’ve had staying away. The homemade jams were a surprise treat. Harry was super attentive throughout our stay, they both couldn’t do enough for us. 10 put of 10 on all aspects.

Everything…from the warm and personal welcome, attentive and friendly service throughout to the beautiful house and surrounding gardens, all of which we were told to make ourselves at home within. Harry and Nicola are such a wonderful couple and hosts. Spotlessly clean, every little comfort thought of, and fabulous views! The room was as equally lovely as the rest of the house, sumptuous bedding, beautiful antique furniture and a modern, top notch en suite shower room. Delicious breakfast with a wide variety of cold options and a lovely choice of cooked options, all served in a grand dining room.

There were no negatives.

We are 64, and have travelled all over the world- and this is the best B&B we’ve ever stayed in. Wonderful welcoming hosts, for whom nothing was too much trouble. Relaxed atmosphere. Full use of the lovely large garden and all of the rooms on the ground floor of this amazing Georgian house. Lovely spacious comfortable bedroom with a garden view. The breakfasts were gorgeous with fresh fruit from the garden, fresh juices, cereals, yoghurt and cooked to order full Welsh breakfast with choice of eggs and toasts. We are certain to return.

Nothing at all. It was perfect.

Wow what a fantastic place! We only stayed for one night but wish we could have stayed for longer. Harry & Nicola were so hospitable and friendly, with a great recommendation for local supper spots. Our suite was stunning, complete with our own balcony and a bath with amazing views up the hills and the comfiest bed! The breakfast was delicious and really generous, complete with homemade jams and they catered for vegetarian dietary requirements too. I took my whippet and she loved running in the securely fenced 1 acre paddock at the front, which was a real bonus. All in all a wonderful stay and we will certainly be back!

What a wonderful place! We really enjoyed every moment we stayed at Nicola and Harry's perfect guest house , who went out of their way to make our stay pleasant and provide us with everything we asked for and beyond. The design of the room, the comfortable accessories and the spectacular view from every window fulfilled all our expectations. The hospitality was warm and heartfelt and we felt at home thanks to the lovely couple. We would be very happy to return and stay again in this dream house.

that we stayed there only 2 nights

Everything, the rustic sophisticated look, our luxury suite, the Bluetooth mirror in said suite, the mirror that turns into a flat screen tv, the 4 poster bed, the views, the location, the list could go on.

The only cons I had about our stay which were minor was that the tv was located far away and out of sight from our bed so we couldn’t watch tv from our bed. To remedy that you could have a tv located in the corner of our room where our bed was and have it mounted on the wall via a tv swivel wall mount. Also the vintage bath that we had in our luxury suite had an old school bath plug to which the seal had worn away around it so when the bath was filled the water would slowly drain away because of the worn seal.

I booked this place for my parents. They used to travel often, but since the pandemic they were a little nervous for their first trip away overnight. I spoke with the owners about this who could not have been more supportive. They catered to all of their needs and went above and beyond. My parents said they couldn't have done anything else to make them feel more welcome or comfortable during their stay. The location and the house itself was beautiful and impeccably clean - more than perfect for a lovely couple of days away. The food was also wonderful. I cannot thank them enough for making my parents' stay the best it could have been! Very grateful.

We were only able to stay for one night on a brief trip, but we wished we'd had longer and will definitely stay again if we're in the area again. Nicola and Harry were very warm and welcoming, got a fire going so we could relax after a busy day, and there were digestifs waiting when we got home from dinner which we enjoyed by the fire chatting with other guests. Our room was beautiful and a special experience that was the highlight of the trip, especially the bath with a view. Breakfast was lovely with a great selection, and I hope next time we stay we'll have more time to take a walk round the garden and enjoy the views!

By far the best Bed & Breakfast I've ever stayed at! Harry welcomed me at the entrance upon my arrival. Nicola made the healthiest and most delicious breakfasts - organic raspberries, blueberries, blackberries, eggs, sausages, and bacon,... I've been treated like royalty first, then family. Harry drove to the groceries just to get me chamomile tea. Nicola took me for a morning walk/hike. They entertained me with a very serious and competitive Jenga game! They made me laugh so many times! The location is also amazing; I could visit nearby castles or simply stay in by the fire and read one of the hundreds of books from their collection. I even borrowed one! I planned on staying one night but kept extending my stay! I couldn't have asked for a better place or company! I'm very grateful to both Nicola & Harry for being the kindest and most caring people.

There was nothing to dislike. Nicola & Harry are the best hosts one can wish for!
