Very good room and comfy bed. All facilities are there (including parking), very clean as well.

Price feels a tad high for a room without breakfast. When I first entered the room I was under the impression a window was open as I could feel a slight breeze. This wasn't the case. This makes me think the room might be quite humid/cold during winter, and you can also hear quite a lot of street noise (e.g. bleeping of pedestrian crossing signal). Neither was a problem to me as it was summer and I was fast asleep, but might be a problem to other guests.

Whats not to like.. great pub serving fab food and drinks with great atmosphere, Lovely staff. Rooms just upstairs, we stayed on the weekend and there was no noise. Room is outstanding for the price. Lovely decor, spotless. Very comfortable bed, crisp fresh linen, great shower. Free parking right outside. Train station next door, 30 mins to Manchester centre.. 20 mins by car to Manchester Airport. Looking forward to returning 👌

Absolutely nothing to complain about. Just didn't like that we only stayed for 1 night 😭

We stayed here for a night to do some walks in the area. The rooms were clean and had everything we needed including en suites with baths. The staff members who showed us the room were friendly and helpful. We didn't eat here so can't comment on the food. It was very well located near the train station.

It was hot so we opened the window but had to close it later because of noise. We were at the front of the hotel, but other family members at the back didn't have this issue. Apart from that everything was fine.

Great location, large comfortable room, free parking (but not guaranteed), excellent breakfast with quality produce and the option of unlimited coffee refill. Much better than the Wetherspoons and great value.

Minor feedback - could do with lighting on the desk for getting ready - the bedside lamps have unusual plugs that you can't move. 10 am is an early check out, especially if at a celebration locally or to encourage people to join in the entertainment in the pub downstairs. Parking - provide alternative parking information. We had to drive round for a while looking for long stay, but managed to get parked.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Norfolk Arms. The check in process was easy and all of the staff were so accommodating and friendly. Nothing was too much and getting in and out of the pub even when it was closed was easy. This is in the perfect location to explore glossop and you have everything you could need on the room. The rooms are huge and so we'll decorated it was also a lovely luxury to have a huge bathroom with a big bath

Great location, very friendly staff, warm welcome, the excellent service, great selection of very good priced food and ales, within a small distance of walks in the North Peaks, lots of good reasons to stay here again.

One very small minor niggle, our room, as it was on the end of the building, was directly over a very noisy kitchen extraction fan. Unfortunately being fully booked we couldn't be offered another choice. However, this was not a problem for us as we were out all day and the fan was switched off from 8pm to 10am when the kitchen was closed, meaning we had a good restful sleep.

We were very pleasantly surprised at how lovely the room was and the cleanliness. The bed is the most comfortable bed we’ve stayed in on this month long trip. We wish we could have stayed longer. The service was great, staff were very friendly, the room was spacious and very clean. We had breakfast in the morning which was great. Definitely would recommend a stay here.

Greeted with a smile the second we walked in by 4 very attentive and knowledgeable members of staff behind the bar. Lovely, cozy atmosphere. Big, clean rooms and great size bathroom with full bath. We had dinner as well and the portion sizes were great with some good deals on the main courses. The food was lovely, steak cooked perfectly. We can’t believe how nice our stay was for such a good price!!

Not a huge amount of parking outside but we managed to nab a space, just be patient as there are a lot of people in and out so you’ll get a space eventually

not set up for walkers ended up taking muddy boots up to my room and having to dry my stuff on the towel rail the evening staff did not try to come up with a solution except to put my boots on the radiator in the bar, which then got turned off breakfast was sad, if you cannot wait until 10am and despite 3 requests to order breakfast none of the evening team seemed to know how much to charge

All the staff from the moment we arrived were so polite , helpful and checked everything was ok on numerous occasions. The rooms were fantastic size and decorated to a high standard . The staff went above and beyond helping to find secure place for charging my bike unlike our stay previous night at a large coperate stately home accomodation .
