Beautiful B&B above a coffee shop. For some reason it wasn't what I was expecting at all. It was a delightful B&B beautifully decorated. Lovely garden area at the back of the property. Pub nearby but we didn't get to try that as they were hosting a private party so we took a taxi into Harrogate in the evening. Breakfast was lovely.

Not much really. Only downside was there was no blind / curtain in the bathroom which meant when showering you were on show to the houses around. Telly from one of rooms could be heard and it was loud quite late on. Otherwise everything else was perfect.

Based above a cafe in a village location, nice and quite. Room good size and comfortable. Great good quality breakfast with lots of choice from the cafe menu. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Pub down the road for great evening Meals. Overall Good value for money.

Towels designer but not soft and fluffy, that is my personal preference and may suit others that stay. No WiFi, but it was in a remote location

Nice room with corner bath in the bathroom which was great after a long day out in The Dales. Breakfast was tasty but thought tgey would have brought us some toast to go with the jams.

The single beds were really small for adults and not really suitable for anyone ovr 5 ft 10 inches. We found we kept half falling out every time we turned :( Breakfast started at 9am. I dont recall reading that prior to booking. For walkers/Internatiinal travellers as like us, this was a ratger later time for breakfast.

The atmosphere in the village was peaceful. The B&B and cafe appears to be the hub of the village, while we were eating breakfast there was a constant stream of locals coming in for breakfast, take away drinks all who were greeted like friends by the staff who were awesome. Food was amazing and set us up for the day. Will definitely be going back.

nothing.

Excellent location for exploring the local area, lovely village , with beautiful old church ( can you spot the mouse ) , and by chance it was the village festival day , so there was lots happening on the village green . The bnb was spotless with an excellent cafe , first class food and staff . Brilliant room with a fantastic bath .

There was nothing to not like .

Staff were friendly and efficient, Steph the chef is first class. Coffee and cakes are the best. Location is good if you want quiet. A pub a few doors along looks very good but will try it next time.

The room above had a squeaky floor and kept us awake but I guess that’s to be expected with a very old building.

Comfortable twin bedroom in lovely village. Excellent breakfasts and wonderful welcoming and friendly hosts. Ideal location as a base to visit the many tourist sites in the Dales and surrounding area.

Wi-Fi poor in bedroom.

Plenty of parking when we arrived. The chef greeted us and upon request gave us fresh milk so I could make some drinks in our room. Which we took outside and relaxed in the garden. With it being a tearoom the garden was spacious. We had a lovely view of the garden and beyond from our room. The tranquillity of the area, we had a walk around the village later that evening. We met Sophie the owner the next morning, lovely lady. Asking if we had a restful night which we did. We felt totally refreshed. The room we had had a bath and shower over, which was ideal for my husband as he prefers a bath. Sophie cooked a superb breakfast from local produce & the drinks where lovely. We had a chat with her before leaving about where we came from, she knew the area. All in all a lovely stop over while visiting RHS Harlow Carr, which is just a couple of miles away.

Extremely friendly and accommodating host; truly quiet location in the countryside away from the hustle and bustle of any urban centre. Quaint surroundings and great breakfast options!

Accessible by car alone; sometimes difficult to keep in touch with the host via the Booking.com correspondance facilities (get her phone number!). Slanted roof charming, but made the room a bit tight for me (standing at 6'3").
