This place is great. The windows have two layers of double-glazing panes so. despite the room facing the busy road and aircraft taking off close by, it is near silent in the room. There's no weird clicking or humming noises that you often get in some hotels. There are also blackout curtains which keep the room dark even in daylight. So the main function of the room - somewhere to sleep in is excellent. I ordered room service which was prompt and delicious despite the hotel being very busy. Staff were great even under the pressure of being so unexpectedly busy. Transport links are excellent. The 111 bus from just outside takes you all the way to Heathrow bus station quickly and cheaply.

It's a minor gripe but the tv didn't turn on via the remote. I had to find a button on the back of it to turn it on but the staff assisted me in this. Wifi was a little flaky and my conference call was dropped a couple of times.

The check-in was quick, reception were very friendly. A warm cookie on arrival was well received after a long day of travel. The room was spacious and clean and in good order. We had a snack and drinks in the bar, which was a very comfortable space. The breakfast was a really good selection, replenished quickly and very tasty. Check out was quick and simple.

The room was quite cold with the air con on, which we didn't seem to be able to just switch off. There was confusion at breakfast as they didn't have our room number down for an included breakfast, but this was quickly resolved.

Shuttle service to and from Heathrow airport, door to door. The room was very comfortable, and I felt safe staying there alone. I really appreciated the free bottled water and cookie on arrival. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

I thought signage or explanation of the light key pad would have been helpful. You have to insert the room key into a key pad (?) and leave it there while in the room for the electricity to work. Being from the USA, I had not experienced this before.

Overall, a pleasant stay at DoubleTree Hilton London Heathrow. The Hotel was clean and inviting upon arrival (physically), however the reception desk was extremely busy and we had to wait an hour plus as our room was not ready. It was obvious that staff were overwhelmed at the reception as I was greeted with no eye contact or even acknowledgement of my presence, despite walking right up to the desk. Nevertheless, nothing taken personally and I did initiate conversation in order to locate my room. It would be great if staff acknowledged and greeted even in the midst of stress as per professional duty. This in addition to the pillows being sunken as soon as your head touches it were the more disappointing aspects of my stay. On the contrary, breakfast was well-presented, continually replenished and tasty. Majority of staff were friendly and attentive (besides from the two ladies at reception upon arrival), plus rooms were warm.

Although we all experience a sense of feeling overwhelmed, staff should be encouraged to greet visitors upon arrival at reception despite of how busy the hotel may get. Pillows can also be upgraded to be firmer.

Car parking was easy. Check in was very swift and very polite and courteous staff member.

Got woken up by housekeeping knocking door 8.30am repeatedly around 4 times . Till I had to open door and tell them my checkout time is 12pm. Was so annoying as went to sleep around 3.30am and it was a Saturday morning. Que for tea and coffee machines at breakfast is 2 long. Another station would be great.

Great Parking, Nice Hotel, Nice Bar, Breakfast was very good. Room was nice, next to Main Road, but we did not hear the Traffic. We had 3 Twin rooms, all my associates said they enjoyed their stay. Shower had great water pressure. Excellent location for Twickenham Stadium.

Bathroom Sink needs unblocking, very slow draining away (Room 108) Reception is painfully slow, but all staff were nice.

The room was well laid out and quiet, especially for my wife and I who do Yoga exercises and meditation every morning! The double glazing was very effective despite being next to a busy road. The beds were very comfortable with nice soft and supportive pillows. The breakfast was very good and the staff friendly and attentive to one's needs.

Fast efficient check on and located close to airport

The staff have lost their friendliness and don’t bother to check if things are ok? If food is ok? Was told to book my own taxi when they used to always ensure I was supported with that. It’s become more expensive and no complimentary water as Honors guest

Good room size, nice toiletries and good steam iron. Lots of local shops and takeaways including a Tesco express.

Parking charges apply but not surprised as all of the other hotels in the area charge too. The outside of the building could do with some decoration as the building looks tired but once inside it’s nice.

Breakfast was lovely. Food was hot. Room was clean and bed comfy.

Check in took some time, long queues. Could have been given better information regarding having a return taxi from the event we were going to when we first asked by the time we asked again all taxis were booked or give us information on other transportation.
