I recently stayed at a delightful B&B in the Lake District and couldn't have been more pleased. My room was incredibly comfortable, complete with a TV and tea-making facilities. The free parking was a real bonus, saving me both money and hassle. Each morning, I enjoyed a scrumptious breakfast that set me up perfectly for exploring the area. The location was ideal for discovering the region's stunning landscapes and charming villages. The hosts were wonderfully welcoming, offering great local tips that enhanced my stay. I found this B&B to be excellent value, providing a cozy home-away-from-home in a prime spot. It was the perfect base for my Lake District adventure.

The weather!

Eldon was an amazing host, very very helpful. The breakfast was wonderful, lots to choose from, and very nicely home cooked! Highly recommended! The best advantage of the B&Bs is the homely vibe and the fact that you get to talking to other guests during your stay, share experiences and tips, and make new friends!

Great breakfast ,I could order what I actually wanted and not what the proprietor thought I wanted.also it was clean cosy and quiet .The owner was great and couldn't do enough

A little to far out of keswick.about 20 minutes walking by road,then again about half that by the old railway path

Good location, lovely walk route into town and close to castlerigg stone circle. Eldon was very accommodating and helpful. Breakfast was perfect and set me up for the day. My one bed room was cosy and the bed was comfy. Great view from the front garden. Would stay again thanks!

Room was abit cold on the first night.

Fantastic host met with all our needs ,guest house was nice and comfortable and clean ,nice and handy for walking into keswick with disused railway track within 50 metres of house

Location was perfect for where we wanted to hike, room was clean and tidy. The host was very welcoming and also helpful couldn’t have asked for more from him

The location is really good. From Keswick town centre there are bus connections to the lakes and other towns and cities Lancaster, Carlisle, Kendal. The host was very welcoming, helpful and made an amazing english breakfast. Overall, it was excellent.

It was difficult to get reception on my phone. The signal was on and off but I guess is a good break from the internet.

Eldon was a great host and provided delicious breakfast options with locally sourced produce. Really helpful with local knowledge and available when needed. Bed was comfortable, shower was great, packed lunch with a flask of coffee was perfect for hiking up Scafell Pike.

Was all pretty good.
