Very welcoming, thoughtful and accommodating staff. Great location and super tasty breakfast. From greeting us at the door to hugs at the end, Sue and Mick were nothing more than perfection. We stayed in room 1 which was pleasantly cool while we had a mini heatwave, also nice and quiet. A spacious room and ensuite, super comfy bed and lovely coffee and biscuits. The location is ideal for a short walk into Keswick but also hitting the road if you are going out of town. There was always a parking spot within a stones throw of their building. Sue and Mick were knowledgeable of the area and more than willing to help and there was a trove of maps and books to assist as well. Finally, a fantastic breakfast to get you started for the day, and plenty of other options if you're not a full English type, fruit and cake to take with you on in your travels too, great little touches.

Great location, short walk to town centre & attractions. We’re able to park in the street, friendly hosts & breakfast dining provided opportunity to talk with other guests if you wanted.

The room was very small which was ok as we jdont spend a lot of time in room. Bed was uncomfortable & the English style of duvets is hot for warm nights. A top sheet & cotton or light blanket would have been easier. We were able to slide our open suitcase under the bed as there was no space for it. Room was 3rd floor so not suitable for people who find them difficult to use

Great hospitality from Mick and Sue whose love of The Lakes and Keswick is evident. Welcomed with tea and cake. Everywhere was very clean and comfortable with thoughtful extras in the room. Perfectly cooked breakfast (with options). Good recommendations and advice about local places to eat or to visit. The location is also very convenient with free parking in the street and plenty of good places for evening meals in the town just a few minutes walk away. We wouldn't hesitate to book again.

Positioned perfectly for wandering around Keswick and the lake and so many walks nearby. The breakfast was 10/10. Mick and Sue were very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The whole place was immaculately clean and tidy. And it was so good I've booked again for later in the year.

All it misses is somewhere to park my motorbike off road! The car it will have to be........

Where do i start!! This place is absolutely amazing!! Everything about our stay was perfect, Sue and Mike are incredible hosts, their hospitality was outstanding and i can not praise them highly enough for making us feel welcome. The rooms are a very good size and they are CLEAN! Clean to the point that my mrs did not have even one complaint and that in itself is a massive achievement! In the rooms you have tea, coffee and even a cafetière… trust me guys they are well stocked! The breakfast was also amazing both days we stayed, you get a very good selection of foods to start you off on your day. Honestly it was my first ever visit to the lakes and i saw some amazing sites, but a massive part of why i had enjoyed our break was the accommodation… we are already planning our next visit to the lakes and we will not be staying anywhere else to the point of if Eden Green has no vacancies on a planned day, we will not make the trip! Thank you Sue and Mick for an amazing experience 👍🏾

Nothing. Everything was as or more than what we expected

My partner and I recently spent two nights at Eden Green. The accommodation was lovely and clean and comfortable and of high standard. Our hosts were most welcoming and hospitable and very helpful and knowledgeable. The breakfast was freshly cooked, delicious and plentiful. And the location was perfect: within easy walking distance of the centre of Keswick. I strongly recommend this guesthouse.

Our experience was most enjoyable and couldn’t have been better.

The hosts were truly hospitable and friendly. The room was well-appointed with nice extra touches. The location was very convenient to shops, bus stop, river, a lovely Thai restaurant and mountain views - and good ice cream!

I personally prefer a softer bed.

Particularly friendly and welcoming owners - nothing was too much trouble. Location is very convenient for cafes, pubs and restaurants in town. As a hillwalker it was good to stay with people who are very familiar with what's needed.

I had no dislikes.

excellent breakfast, I am a vegetarian and there wasn't any problems catering for me. Room was on the ground floor which was a bonus as I have difficulty climbing stairs. The town was only 5min away my husband and I both used mobility scooters and we were in the town within 5min, and we were allowed to charge our batteries overnight at no extra cost. An overall a really delightful weekend break for both my husband and I.
