The King’s Arms Hotel was modern and the bedroom was gorgeous. We stayed in room 4 and it was spacious, had nice toiletries and the best was super comfy. The bedding had a very luxurious feel too. The staff were lovely, friendly and accommodating. The hotel is right in the middle of the town centre, which is ideal. There was noise early hours due to setting the market up but this was expected due to location and the hotel provides ear buds. The breakfast was also amazing, plenty of choice (both continental and cooked). We will definitely be back!

It was central.. right in the main square.. evening meal was beautiful and breakfast extremely well cooked and plentiful. Although the hotel is dog friendly they were not allowed in the restaurant which as a dog lover I think is fair, you can however have a meal in the lounge

To be honest there is nothing not to like, however realistically you are in a main square the hotel bar is open late so be prepared for noise.. If your looking to head to bed early and noise disturbs you then perhaps this isn’t the place for you, otherwise I’d say it’s perfect for a stay

Excellent location in the very centre of town. Property has been refurbished to a very high standard. Every member of staff friendly and very helpful. We were staying with our two dogs and there was two comfortable dog beds and bowls in the room. They even provided ear plugs since with the property being so central it could have been a bit noisy at night. Breakfast was very very good, top quality.

Not much. Couldn't fault the place really. Didn't realise we could have had a discount on parking until after we had arrived and paid. There was an email sent but we didn't see it until after we arrived as we were travelling. But to be fair the 24hr parking charge was not overly expensive.

Super central location, easy to find, lovely little pub, clean, friendly staff, comfy beds.

The Square outside is rather lively at weekends. This is not the hotel's fault, and actually we loved the atmosphere and excitement, and enjoyed watching the singer at the bar opposite from the comfort of our room. If you want a quiet night or need to get a baby to sleep, however, maybe request a room at the back.

Excellent family run in centre of Keswick. I asked for a later checkout and flexibility on a Saturday morning breakfast at a slightly later time due to our reason of staying was to visit Whinlatter parkrun and it was no issue for the staff as we were accommodated. We chose our breakfast order the evening before. Parking gets busy in the main town car park. If you book direct with hotel you can get cheaper parking through hotel vs booking.com which is good to know for any future stay.

Great location in the town centre. The breakfast was delicious and definitely amazing value for money. The hotel is also very dog friendly, there were some bowls and dog bed waiting for us upon check in. Also, they provided dog towels upon request - quite handy considering how muddy & rainy the dogs might get there. Lovely place overall, will be staying here again when we’re back in Keswick that’s for sure!

Excellent location bang in the centre of keswick, lovely comfortable bed and a great choice for breakfast. Full English was a must and very good. Staff that were there were very helpful and friendly

No on site parking due to the location but a small price to pay, speaking of paying, the local carpark is discounted to £10 per day for hotel customers who book through a 3rd party and £5 a day if you book direct with the hotel. Like everywhere at present they did seem to have a staffing shortage, highlighted on a busy weekend breakfast service.

The staff were really nice - being friendly and helpful whilst also perfectly professional. The room was lovely - very comfortable, excellent modern en-suite with shower, and fabulously quirky undulating 'old' floor, made comfy and modern with nice carpeting. The beds were great, and the view of the main pedestrianised town centre gave a real feeling of being 'in Keswick' ( surprisingly quiet too). The breakfast was delicious and a great spread of choices

It was really super but we could have used a couple of extra hooks in the room, and next time we come, which we will, we will wear an extra layer for breakfast (it's probably the difference between the super cosy room and more open, morning restaurant).

We had a fabulous stay at The Kings Arms, I would highly recommend. The room (No 5) was extremely comfortable and a great size with a lovely shower, towels and bathrobes. Tea & Coffee facilities. We were facing the Main Street and apart from the market being set up on Saturday morning we were not disturbed noise wise but we booked expecting some sort of noise as it was clearly stated on booking. Breakfast was beautiful and good selection. All of the staff were lovely and friendly. Bar area is comfortable and attracts friendly visitors. we didn’t want to leave this morning, and could of easily stayed another night or two.

We didn’t find one thing we didn’t like.

Excellent breakfast and cheerful service. Well laid out shower room and the whole hotel was comfortably warm. Residents' lounge was a nice cosy touch.

Staircase access to bedrooms was tight - staff should be offering to carry suitcases to bedrooms for guests as a matter of course, as there is no lift. Bar was always packed which made us feel unsafe in the current covid climate.
