We recently had the pleasure of staying at the Greystoke Hotel in Keswick, and it was an excellent experience from start to finish. The location of the hotel is superb—just a 5-minute walk to Keswick town center and a 10-minute stroll to the beautiful Derwentwater. This made exploring the area extremely convenient. The breakfast at Greystoke Hotel was perfect. The Cumberland sausage, in particular, was of very high quality, and all the food was served hot and fresh every morning. Our room was spotless and stylish, equipped with modern fixtures such as USB charging ports which added a nice touch of convenience. The shower and toilet facilities were excellent, with plenty of water pressure and consistently hot water. Throughout our stay, we felt very welcome. The staff were friendly and accommodating, ensuring that we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would definitely stay at Greystoke Hotel again. Thanks for having us! 👍

Great welcome from the owner, very helpful and super friendly I could leave my luggage at the B&B before check-in and after checkout. They have the great option of a packed breakfast, which turned out to be my lunch daily. The location is really good, just 5ish minutes from the centre Bedroom was very comfy with all amenities Single room has a separate private bathroom a floor below. Greta bathroom too And they have a drying room, which was very helpful on the first day as I came back drenched!

The walls between bedrooms are quite thin and my neighbours apparently liked to argue quite a bit unfortunately! Also the radiator thermostat does make some noise regularly

Jonathon & Emma were wonderful friendly hosts, breakfast was excellent and very delicious. The room we had was very spacious, clean and comfortable. The bathroom was also very clean and the shower awesome! Although I was dubious to start with, the self check-in is a great idea and easy to use, such a convenience for traveller and host alike. Same goes for ordering breakfast on the app the day before - easy to use and a great idea! Excellent location, very close to the town centre. I thought parking was going to be a problem, especially being a bank holiday weekend, but not so - plenty of available spaces in the little side streets. So much to do round and about. The walk round Derwent Water (10 miles) was most enjoyable - good footpaths. The Pencil Museum in Keswick is worth a visit. "The Square Orange" and "Casa Bella", 2 excellent restaurants we ate at.

Absolutely nothing to dislike - all good!

Really lovely place. Rooms are clean and have everything you need (and more!) Jon and Emma are lovely hosts and nothing is too much trouble, they make you feel really relaxed. Parking on street was free and easy. Breakfast lovely and a fantastic location. Just a short walk into town and also out to Derwent Water. There are also some really nice parks close by. I had a fabulous trip and would definitely book again if I return to Keswick.

Nothing. Really good value and great for me and my little dog

Not a big room, but very comfortable, warm and well equipped with everything we needed. Our hosts were lovely and we were well entertained at breakfast by the wonderful Noah! The breakfast was easy to order each day using our phone, so everything was very well organised come breakfast time, and i must say the food was outstanding, best breakfast I've had. The location is great, just a five minute walk and you're on the high street. Overall a wonderful pre Christmas break, we'll definitely be back x

There was nothing to dislike at all

We stayed in the room that is featured for their advert. And it is outstanding! Clean, comfortable, awesome shower, fantastic location, delicious breakfast. Jon and Emma are exceptional hosts. Helpful with planning walks, things to do around town. They have the farm to table vibe with what they serve, and you can even purchase the marmalade or jam that you had over breakfast if you liked. 10 out of 10. Definitely recommend. I didn't take any pictures of the room or building, etc, because honestly, what they have posted is exactly what you see.

The breakfast was superb, everything cooked perfectly and the best black pudding I've had! You can try some of the sauces made in Keswick with your breakfast too. Very central just 5 min walk if that to the shops. Comfy bed and sofa in the larger room - home from home. Everything was managed via your phone if you are techy so you can book yourself into your room, order breakfast etc. Nothing was too much for the owners. Used the B&B discount at the Theatre by the Lake.

The host was very welcoming and friendly, and the room was exceptionally clean and well-equipped. The private bathroom was a great size and also extremely clean. Good range of options for breakfast - biggest list of jams and marmalades you have ever seen! Location is absolutely perfect - super close to the town centre and the theatre, which is where I was working during my stay. A relation of the host makes jewellery and I was delighted to buy a pair of earrings before I left, which I have received many compliments on!

The mattress was very soft and therefore hard to sleep on, but that is more personal taste than anything. I could hear the guests next door snoring very loudly and making other noise, which disturbed me during the night. The bathroom is two floors down from the room which isn't ideal, but worked ok for me.

Our stay was excellent. Better than expected a real gem and a lucky last minute find. We will definetely stay again. I really like the extra little touches, Yorkshire Decaff tea and local made jams and sauces for breakfast. The owners are really friendly and helpful. Usually I prefer a room with a bath but the shower was so good. We really recommend it and had no complaints at all.

Nothing.

Exceptional breakfast - it might be the best sausage I've ever had! Lovely comfortable and clean room, absolutely spotless. Really lovely hot shower with great water pressure.

Room and bathroom was a tiny bit small for a week stay - but it had everything you could ever need so I'd take function over size any day!
