We stayed overnight and could not have felt more welcome! The rooms were incredibly nice and clean, we really appreciated the small details to make our stay comfortable. Breakfast was amazing (!!) and Keith catered a beautiful vegan meal for one of us. He was so friendly, attentive and shared many fun anecdotes with us. We were also given advice for where to eat and what to do in and around Largs. Would love to visit again and will definitely recommend to friends!

First of all it was nice to be greeted by a friendly face rather than a key box. Owner was really cheery, helpful and gave us lots of info about the area. Location was great. Walking distance to beach and town. Room was immaculate and decor throughout was clean, bright and tasteful. Staggered times for breakfast which meant everything was cooked fresh, including croissants and pancakes. Fresh fruit salad was gorgeous.

If I had to be REALLY picky I would say that because our room faced the main road and because the weather was so exceptionally hot, we had to keep the windows open and at times it was a wee bit noisy. Small price to pay for the amazing weather though and would definitely not stop us going back.

As we arrived, we were met with an extremely warm welcome by Keith. Keith showed us our room and immediately you can sense the care & passion that he invests into this business / home. Everything is kept to a high standard and the decoration is lovely and welcoming. You instantly feel at home and the beds are super comfy. I have stayed in many b&b's and this is the best by far. The breakfast is great and once again Keith goes above and beyond to make sure your dietary needs are met and you are happy. In an evening you are welcomed to sit out and enjoy the garden at St Leonards , on a dry day you will get to experience Keith's love for the beautiful flowers around St Leonards as he waters them. I honestly could go on for ever , I left feeling like I'd made a friend and will certainly return to St Leonards. Thank you Keith and all at St Leonards for making our stay great. A lovely home and B&B.

Absolutely nothing St Leonards was great and Keith the host is 2nd to none.

Keith was very friendly, and very helpful. we might have not arrived by check in but keith was understanding as it was we arrived in time but had to leave early for work in the morning and Keith got up early to cook our breakfast which was amazing by the way and so much was offered . the house was spotless and nothing was too much trouble for Keith you are made to feel welcome into his home and everything you need supplied was supplied ... we will definitely be back

The was nothing that we didn't like really a minute issue was the slanted roof in the small room but that's not normally let out unless the house is busy

The property is well situated for the town of Largs and ferry terminal. Keith our host is very knowledgeable offering tips and advice for travellers . For example by telling us the best place to watch the sun set over the Clyde, and where to buy the best fish and chips, we enjoyed the perfect end to our short stay in Largs. Keith has a good sense of humour and provides a warm welcome. The room was of a reasonable size, airy and comfortable beds. Quality furnishings. There is a shared bathroom, which I normally would avoid. However this did not prove to be a real problem. And again the bathroom was of a very good size and quality facilities etc. Keith offered a wide healthy choice of Breakfast, beautifully cooked. There is also car parking at the property. So all in all could not fault this bed and breakfast.

Not keen on shared bathroom facilities usually. Bur this was not really an issue in the end.

Great communication with wonderful host. Very kind and considerate. Saw my consternation at the prospect of a too-early breakfast slot and was most merciful! I was exhausted after a recent bout of illness, a long journey and my ever present insomnia, so Keith generously changed the plans. Breakfast was lovely too, by the way! Our room was beautifully decorated, warm and cosy. Nice towels and toiletries in bathroom and everything exceptionally clean. Quiet at night and in the early morning too. Treat yourself!

Lovely clean, well presented room and excellent value for money. Located a short stroll from the sea front and the towns facilities. Of particular note was the warmth of the welcome from the owners who were always on hand with local knowledge and really took pride in their accommodation. Keith worked hard to make sure that everything was as it should be. Excellent breakfast freshly prepared with lots of choice and served in a lovely bright dining room. We would love to stay again.

Location was great. 5 min walk to ferry port to spend the day at millport. Breakfast was 100% great choice lovely fresh fruit and cream. Cooked breakfast was also lovely. The host Keith was the perfect gentleman made us feel at ease from the moment we arrived. His banter with all the guests was hilarious everyone loves him...cant wait for our next trip.....

Everything was perfect i can honestly say no faults whatsoever...

The Scottish breakfast was delicious, freshly cooked and hot. There was also cereal, fresh fruit, yoghurt, toast or croissants for those who don't want a cooked meal. Tea, coffee, milk or fruit juice was also on offer. Keith was a fabulous host and couldn't have been more helpful. The property was within walking distance of Largs town centre and had off road parking for two cars.

On a busy road so there was some traffic noise.

We had a wonderful stay at St. Leonard's Guesthouse. Keith welcomed us very warmhearted, gave us valuable tips for exploring the area and prepared us an amazing delicious vegan breakfast. The beds are super comfortable, the showers and the bathroom are great! We are positively surprised by all the small, loving details of the accommodation. All in all, an absolutely recommendable place, we would love to come back!
