The location is fantastic, right in the heart of the city and as well as being adjacent to Central Station, this is only a couple of minutes' walk from Lime Street Station. Plenty of food options in the neighbouring area. The rooms are very spacious and offer good comfort.

The management is very clear about the fact that being situated on a busy street, there is some noise from the neighbouring bars, which does continue until about 11pm. The only thing I will add is that this was apparent on a Monday, in case potential visitors are thinking this is just reserved for weekends. It is noticeable but tolerable with windows closed.

The hotel was fantastic. Our room was on first floor, so we had to climb stairs as there was no lift. That was not a problem at all for us. Reception was at the top off the stairs and we were greeted by Collette who was fantastic throughout our 3 day stay. We requested a room with a window and this was no problem at all. The room was lovely and very spacious and there was air conditioning as well. Hotel is above Lannigans pub so can be noisy but that didnt bother us lol as we were informed off this in advance. Hotel is in a central location in Ranleaghs Street which was ideal for us with all the selection off bars. Tea/coffe/milk facilties and clean towels on request. My 2 friends and myself could not fault this hotel at all. 10/10.

Perfect location at the heart of the city. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. We arrived early at the hotel, but they checked us in straight away, which was really nice. If you're travelling with a child, this hotel might not be the hotel for you as it's on top of a bar and can be very noisy. We were advised of this by the hotel prior to our stay so we know about it and we didn't mind. The room was clean, and the beds were comfortable. The shower was great with good water pressure. Had a wonderful stay overall. Would stay at this hotel again. Good value for money.

The staff were welcoming and friendly from check in to check out. Colette in particular, took the time to remember my name, use it in conversation with me, and showed an interest in my visit. All staff were always happy to supply more amenities when requested, without hesitation or limitation.

Although the hotel is located close to the multiple train stations, restaurants, and shops, I did find the over availability of bars in the area intimidating. Drunk people were stood in the hotel doorway smoking, and I did have to request a room high up and at the back of the hotel in order to not hear the loud music which went on late into the night. However, once again, the staff were very accommodating about this prior to my stay, as I had actually received a warning email from the hotel, informing me of their location.

The room was very clean, comfortable and nicely set up. Everything was thought of and well presented. The staff were friendly and kind. The beds were so comfortable, the TV was well positioned for a relaxing evening. There are lots to do in the area - location is brilliant. Great restaurants nearby! Super close to the station. Cannot fault the room, the staff or the facilities! Highly recommend for a leisure trip.

The noise was my only issue. There was live music downstairs (which is great if I could experience it but I was there for business and just wanted a good sleep). The music carried on until 1am which made it difficult to sleep. Saying that, it was entirely my fault as I was well aware of it, it clearly says in the description of this listing and the hotel advised me of it before I arrived.

Francheska (young lady black hair) has always been fantastic, helping take bags upstairs or putting me in the best room. Two bottles of water per day provided. Large spacious room. Excellent air conditioner temperature with great balancing between cool and warm air. Excellent rates if Liverpool FC is not playing or not on the weekend.

Beware there are lots of stairs, no lift (elevator) Almost told to leave or pay more money because staff set price wrong then tried to force payment of extra money after Booking confirmed and checked in. Booking.com resolved successfully. An older lady staff told me that the room is not cleaned if it stayed consecutive days but that's incorrect as I've stayed in the past and the room cleaned each day. The same (blonde) lady staff rudely refused to help with luggage saying she's the only one there.

Great location as right in the centre of the city, comfy beds and rooms. Staff were polite and welcoming and accommodated any needs we had. Nice clean rooms bar few stains on the carpet.

Our AC unit was broken and dripping but we only had it on for half an hour every day so it wasn’t too much of a problem. The doors and walls are pretty thin, we were awoken by other guests in early hours of the mornings. Music in bar plays until 2am - this didn’t bother us too much but it may bother others. General wear and tear in the room.

The room was well-designed and laid out, with plenty of room for two people. The room was very clean. The bathroom was a proper room, not a "pod" as is the case in so many budget accommodations these days.

As some other reviewers noted, there is a bar downstairs, so you can hear/feel music in the room. The music didn't bother us (we live in a city). However, the street noise--people shouting and singing--which became more audible once the music stopped, was a real issue. Although, we realized the next morning that one of the outer windows was cracked open, so perhaps street noise would have been less of a problem had we noticed/fixed this! If you are bothered by nighttime noise, it might be better to book a room without windows overlooking the street.

The room was spacious and clean. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Beds extremely comfortable and the crib they offered was new and cozy. The room was just above the pub, but the music was really no trouble - it was not that loud and ended around midnight. Excellent location.

The stairs are no joke and made me think twice before coming and going to the room. The hotel rules did not allow us to bring food to the room, which, with a toddler, was challenging (we are used to giving him breakfast and dinner at the hotel).

The location is perfect - right in the centre of Liverpool. Hairdryers are available from reception and we were given plenty of bottled water which was excellent. Staff were super friendly. The room was spotless and beds were very comfortable. Plenty of towels were provided

We stayed in a 6 bed dorm - Room facilities were sparse - literally bunk beds and a couple of shelves. However, cases did fit under our beds. The room would benefit from some more hanging hooks. Also pic on site showed a kettle with tea and coffee which our room did not have. Also be aware there is no window in the 6 bed room which does make it a bit stuffy. There is air conditioning though. Be aware that the hotel is above a busy bar and there is some noise, though we didn't find it too bad at all. Also, be aware there are 2 flights of stairs to navigate to get to your room. It wasn't a problem for us but some people may find this difficult.
