The location for where we wanted to be was perfect! Big comfortable bed, very clean with room cleans every day and replacement of the complementary coffee capsules for the machine which was brilliant to have with the mini little kitchenette inside the wardrobe, great idea and so useful for us. Shower & bath although bath was a bit high getting into. welcome drink was a nice touch, great stylish place with pleasant, friendly staff.

The noise of the floorboards above, we got woken up a few times from the people walking up and down their room, it was quite annoying. Top floor would be the best floor to be on in the future we think?

The Resident exceeded my expectations. It is an amazing building, immaculate and very well maintained. The staff is wonderful, you receive a hand-written welcome card on arrival, and when I was asking about an issue with the TV in my room, it got fixed in no time and I was immediately informed. So, so nice! The Resident Liverpool is perfectly located, just couple minutes to Albert Dock, the centre with Liverpool One and the Cultural Quarter, to Chinatown, to various train stations and bus stops. Bold Street with all the gorgeous eateries is just around the corner, and so are lots of other cool pubs and restaurants. In the superbly equipped mini kitchen (even a microwave!) in my room I could have a cup of coffee in the mornings (or a cuppa Taylor's tea in the afternoons) and then head off to one of the great brunch cafés nearby, such as The Vibe, Leaf and Brunchin', all in easy reach. And I recommend to get the 86 bus, two minutes from The Resident, to have your brunch or cake time at the Glass Onion, another fantastic place. My room was comfy, quiet and very well equipped, the bed was wonderful. At The Resident Liverpool you'll get high-end accomodation at an unbeatable price.

Nothing could have been better.

Rooms were very clean and well equipped with everything you might need on a vacation. Even a little kitchen with microwave, sink and some basic dishes. Bed was very comfortable and more than big enough for someone who is quite high. Also everything was cleaned daily. Staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. I´ve travelled a lot and have never met a staff that was so ready to help you and make you feel comfortable, from day one. Hotel is situated close to everything you need to see really. If you want to party this is the street for you. If you want to eat well, it is just few minutes away by foot in any direction from the hotel. And if you want your peace and quiet and just relaxe, sound isolation is so good that you cannot hear a sound from the outside where the party is. I was worried about that because the sleep is very important to me, and our room was oriented towards a very busy party-street. But nope, nothing to worry about. It was very quiet due to excellent sound isolation. May I also add the fact that Liverpool in general is absolutely fantastic!!!

I only didn´t like the fact that you cannot open the windows. Air conditioning works really well, but still, it felt very strange not to be able to open the windows, not even a crack to get some fresh air from the outside.

The staff (superb), the welcome (a welcome card and a thank you for choosing them - a nice touch and unexpected, for sure), the location (was there for work and was just around the corner from the office… doesn’t seem like a big deal but having stayed in many hotels due to convenience of being near the office, I always have my doubts) - it’s on point if you want to be central to good food, easy access to the shops and an undoubtedly class night out. The room was lovely, and the beds were very comfortable (I know it’s about preference but they were right up my street - soft yet firm). Oh yeah, did I mention the staff?!?!

Everything was great, apart from the fake eyelashes stuck to the desk and the remote, haha! Made me laugh out loud. I chucked the ones on the desk in the bin so they didn’t stick to my laptop but I have to admit, I left the ones on the remote as removing the ones on the desk was enough for me, haha! Again, in the grand scheme of things not much at all, and overall it was great and nothing to not like

The Resident was an excellent place to stay. It was in a super location to wander down to the shops and Waterfront area within minutes. The room was of a decent size being both clean and comfortable with no street noise at all. The airconditioning was a great bonus during our stay given the high outdoor temperatures and kept the room at a lovely cool level. The bathroom was of a good size and the shower was great ! The hotel staff were friendly and helpful at all times.

Cannot think of anything of a negative nature other than a point of note that it would be wise to request a rubber bathmat from reception as they are not automatically provided in the rooms. With the shower being in the bath, it can feel rather slippy when showering without a mat. There is a notice on the wall of the bathroom stating that they are available on request and, although we did not ask for one during our stay, I think it may be a good idea to have one.

Stayed here before liked the decor and staff are really nice the location is great and it is our go to hotel now if ever out in Liverpool

Nothing we didn't like really had a good stay my only gripe was having stayed before and for a lot less money think we were spoilt with the room we had the first time we stayed and when booked the same room type was expecting the same so was happy to pay the extra only the room we had was a bit smaller and less character but that's the luck of the draw suppose.Made worse by having to change dates and paying more money thanks to Paul smith changing his gig dates so I'm taking it out on you really 😁

The hotel and our room were very clean with modern decor. The kitchenette in the room was very handy. The beds were extremely comfortable with lovely bed linen. We liked the security concept of needing a key card for the corridor, lift and stairs to access the rooms. The staff who greeted us at the reception were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. My husband made use of the nice lounge area to catch up with work the following morning whilst my daughter and I slept in! The 11am check out time is later than a lot of hotels and is very handy as we were able to go into the city centre again before we checked out.

There wasn’t anything we didn’t like about the property.

Hotel was lovely, staff were lovely, the whole trip was lovely. The bed was super comfortable! Room was really nice and practical. Staff are very welcoming, always saying hello and intrigued as to what you’re up to during the day, as well as giving suggestions. Loved the fact there was discounts to parking and restaurants near by. Will definitely come back in the near future!

We could hear outside noise from our room, but it honestly didn’t bother us as we were soon fast asleep from long days out and we expected it because of the location of the hotel.

The location was excellent, the facilities were really good i.e the use of space with the ironing board and iron available, kitchen and fridge. Also the shower facilities were nice quality and towels changed daily. you also couldn't hear a thing going on outside to say this hotel was central which was excellent

I would say the pillows were really hard and was difficult to get comfy, we were also lucky that we are only short as the bed was almost cramped in a corner wall to wall, my husband wouldn't have fit length ways but overall for the time we spent in there it was fine.
