Value for money, staff excellent and friendly. The room was small but for the price paid not expecting much more. A lovely bathroom with all the facilities you need. As it is above the public house there is the noise of the busy pub, but that stops after closing hours. As I said staff were brilliant and made the stay excellent. Location, right in the middle of town so most things are within easy walking distance, like places to visit and Lime Street station.

Nothing really as I said in my comments good value for price paid, just don't expect an early night sleep on weekends because of bar.

As ever loved being back in Liverpool. And this hotel is VERY central. The staff are incredibly authentic and friendly - nice to have some typical Everton v. Liverpool banter. It is no problem that there is no breakfast cos the Shiraz is just round the corner which has better breakfast than ANY hotel. The rooms are clean and nicely furnished.

The internet quality is great for normal use but not stable enough if you need to have a google meet for work. i.e. for most people it is absolutely great (the bandwidth is fine - just not stable enough).

The property was very clean and newly decorated, it was next door to a pub, but had its own entrance and the pub wasn’t a problem, plus it closed early. The check in and out was quick. Location great for what we needed it for.

The room we stopped in had a small double bed in, not a standard, and very very warm, but when we opened the window, the air conditioning unit on the roof was on and off all night and was very very noisey. The internet wasn’t the best and it was very slow and for the first night it packed up, due to some technical problem by the provider. There is a tea, coffee machine in the front hall way, but that broke while we was there too. A few teething problems because it had not long been took over, by this new company, but the staff were lovely and did everything they could to solve the problems we were having.

Location was perfect. Super close to everything. Amazing staff. Very friendly and helpful. Clean rooms. Spacious rooms. Modern rooms. Liked that the room had a functional TV with both Prime and Netflix and plenty of channels. Liked that the rooms have a separate entrance so you don't have to walk through a reception/lobby/restaurant or whatever when you come home or are leaving. Also liked that checkout was very smooth with just leaving a key in a box instead of signing out and going through hassle. We also liked that you weren't disturbed (with for example cleaning service every day) but instead if you needed something you could just ask for it. Good value for our money. Great shower with for example airflow.

We did not like the beds. They are WAY too narrow. You are afraid of turning during the night cause you might fall out of it (and I'm a small guy). Beds are really tiny.

We had a warm welcome from Debbie. Throughout our short stay nothing was too much trouble for the owner and his staff and they were always freely offering information to make our stay even more enjoyable. We stayed in the treble room. Our room was spotless clean and the beds really comfortable and nice white, quality bedding. Taller storage would be an advantage. We had a nice big tv. Although compact, the shower room was new, clean, bright and the shower itself was lovely. The location was great,.... perfect for our needs. The drinks machine on the landing was good value.

When the windows are open at night, it can be noisy. The double glazing is very effective. A fan would be needed in warmer weather. Disappointing view, but we were hardly in the room. We would happily stay again.

Absolutely excellent location. Right in the centre or Liverpool. Despite how busy the location was, we found the room really quiet. You could occasionally hear some bass from music but it didn’t bother us at all. The beds were super comfy and I had a great nights sleep. Room was nicely decorated and clean and the shower was powerful. Really good price for the location and room!

The blinds were apparently black out but the street lights outside were very bright so did penetrate the blinds. Adding curtains would rectify that. Couldn’t get the wifi working and the TV didn’t have all the channels but that’s only a minor thing and we were out most of the time anyway. I normally like tea and coffee and a little fridge for drinks in the room but the rooms are quite small so they probably couldn’t fit them in, and it would drive the price up so I can see why they haven’t go this facility.

Travelled from Ireland to Liverpool with my partner to see a game at Anfield and we were very happy with Brownlows Inn. The rooms were very clean, and the bathroom was spacious with a powerful shower. The staff were very helpful, even letting us have a late checkout for an extra €10. No complaints whatsoever.

Beds were smaller than your average double but fine for two nights.

I recently stayed for one night at Riley's rooms with a couple of my friends for a medical exam we had the next morning. The location of Riley's rooms was not only helpful for us due to being close to where we needed to go for our exam, but also it is located within close range to bars, restaurants and shops - plus it was only a few minutes walk from Liverpool Lime Street! The staff were very helpful during the booking process and greeted us at the door, showing us up to our room. We booked a room with 3 single beds and an en suite bathroom. The room was extremely tidy, the beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was immaculate! Although there is no breakfast included, there is a tesco nearby and many cafe's to choose from! The check-out process was swift and easy and the staff very kindly looked after our bags as well due to different times of the exam. I would definitely stay here again!

Unfortunately, there was a little bit of noise coming from other people staying at Riley's rooms in the late evening - however I wouldn't say this went on late into the night. Also, it is not at fault of Riley's rooms.

the locations was great but I’d you’re intending on having an early night on Saturday you’ll be upset as the pub music is VERY LOUD , but I’d suggest you stay out till it closes . The lady whom we got the key from was very welcoming and friendly.

the early check out and another lady whom was ensuring people left their room was a bit short and abrupt as we were 20 mins late in getting out . no allowance made there but hey ho..

The room was pristine! Beautifully clean and everything we needed for our two night stay. The staff were lovely and very accommodating. The location is amazing - right in the heart of Liverpool and everywhere is easily walkable: bus and train stations are 5-10 minutes away and there is no shortage of good value bars, restaurants and food outlets with great food choices. Highly recommended! Thank you! :)
