Love the grand hotel it does need some money spent on it to upgrade the lovely history of the building with its fancy rooms .However, we are still planning to book again another stay next year 😀 just love the place ❤️ The staff were lovely, excellent service, and, very polite 👍 The rooms were very clean and spacious and the bed was very comfortable 😀

Nothing to dislike it was all good 👍 it just needs money spending on it to bring it back to its glory . I'm hoping for the future somebody will care enough to give it an upgrade ❤️

We always enjoy staying at the Adelphi. It is close to the train station, its central location make it easy to visit night spots, pubs and restaurants. We love the Victorian grandeur of the Adelphi, the ballrooms, the size of the rooms and the history of the hotel. It is usually cheap compared to other central Liverpool hotels. We enjoyed the easy access to our work location and the opportunity to walk straight out into the city's nightlife. The room was warm even though very large, even while it was bitterly cold outside. Staff were efficient and friendly.

Access to staff at the reception desk could be better and it is a shame that there is no good coffee available. I always have to go out in the morning to access a well made coffee. Fortunately there are Italian cafes nearby.

Perfect location, within walking distance of the beautiful city centre, and aroudn the corner from lime street where the train station is & the queens bus stop. The hotel building itself is beautiful and there was nothing wrong with the room, comfy bed and a nice bathroom. The receptionist Jayraj was an absolute gentleman, making us feel welcome from the moment we stepped foot inside. He dropped everything to fulfill our needs. In fact, he was honestly the only helpful staff member that took good care of us as residents…

The building is a bit neglected, no atmosphere at all in the bar and next to it appeared to be what used to be a cocktail bar which is now being used to store luggage. An awful waste of what presumably used to be a great addition. I also heard from locals that they had to close the leisure club due to hygiene and not wanting to bother renewing with a contractor for the pool. It sounds like current owners are completely ruining what was once a 5 star hotel and running this property to the ground. The bar staff also could have been more welcoming…

The architecture and internal decor were gorgeous. We were allowed to check in early which was great and staff were helpful. Spacious and clean bedroom. In keeping, period bathroom but no overbath shower which I would expect in all hotels these days and bath needed a bit of attention. Breakfast was well priced and very very good. We were able to leave our bags behind for a few hours after checking out which was very convenient. Great central location, our front elevation room had a nice view of the city.

Bath needs to be renovated and a shower head mixer tap added. It was quite noisy until midnight but that is part of staying in a city and sort of added to our experience.

It was lovely and warm in the room. Breakfast was very good plenty of choice 😋 nead more staff to clear the tables. As there was hardly any tables that wasn't used it was very busy in the dining room. The staff that were there were very helpful as I am visually impaired. Staff at the check in were nice his name was George. Enjoyed our stay overnight. Will probably stay again. Disappointing that there were no WiFi in the room though. But overall nice and quiet. Very clean cutlery.

Nead more stewards in front of house only two stewards. Lots of used dirty breakfast dishes still on a lot of tables when we entered the dining room at 8 30 it was very busy though. Plug in the bathroom got stuck in the wash hand basin.couldent get it out. Disappointing there were no WiFi in our room. No sockets by our bed.had to get out of bed to get my phone when it rang because it was over the other side of the room.

Great location, huge room ( executive room 417) , lovely staff especially George on reception who was very accommodating to one member in our group booking and gave useful information to to help us have an enjoyable stay👍 and sorted our parking out which i almost forgot about ! ( located at the back of the hotel which is £13 for 24hrs just remember to give your registration to the staff) hotel extremely dated and in desperate need of some cash throwing at it but has 2 bars with great friendly staff so suited our needs! Couldn’t comment on the food as we ate out!

Our bathroom had a huge window which was overlooked by facing rooms, had to use facilities with the light off.

I like the place as it makes me feel safe. I only had a few hours to spend there at night and I slept very well which is what I needed. The breakfast was plenty and nice. The parking is a bit expensive but invaluable on the premises. I know now that one can buy reasonable train tickets so what one keeps hearing on the radio for example: that there are no cheap train tickets any more is not true. When I get the opportunity to visit again, I will take the train.

The room did not have a feeling of freshness but was clean and fair price. The car park is a bit run down but nothing came to any harm. I missed the American Bar. It is lovely to have it on the premises as I do not like going out at night. Officially it is open till midnight which is great but I found it closed just after 23:00 hours. Two lovely ladies sitting outside told me it had just closed. It has just what I need as a snack.

Just the overall gloriousness of an old building. How central to the town it was. The bedrooms were lovely and warm. Nice spacious rooms with character.

The layout of the bathroom was a bit cramped getting to the tiolet. Abit more attention to detail in the bathrooms would go along way. Like matching taps. The shower was broken in one room but was a really good pressure and was great in the other one. Maybe get rid of all the baths and just have shower cubicals at some point in the future. Maybe add some grape fruit and croissants to the breakfast menu for the price.
