The location is in downtown Liverpool. There are stairs to get to the rooms, so for anyone with mobility issues, this might not be the right hotel, but otherwise it was great. The room was clean and there was always someone at the desk who was willing to help you. This hotel was within walking distance of Mathew Street (Cavern Club) as well as the Lime Street Train Station. If you need a taxi, there's a button at the front desk that you push and the taxi is there within five minutes, although most of the places that we went to we could walk.

No Wifi in the rooms, but there is Wifi in the restaurant.

My room was bigger than I expected and the bed was very comfortable.

Every time I went in/out there was a different person at reception who had a unique opinion on what the policy on bedroom key was: the staff at check-in told me to always leave the key at reception when I went out, and that I should ask for a new one when I came back; later I was told that I didn't have to do that if I didn't want to; and a few days later I was told to NOT do that and just keep my key outside the hotel. It was a bit confusing and they should agree on a common policy, but anyways they were all 100% friendly and available to give me new keys if I needed them or if the old ones demagnetized.

The great location in a very center in minutes proximity to major tourist attractions. A good ratio of price, location and room stuff. The room, bed linen and towels was clean, tea set included. The bathroom was spacious, clean and in good condition (contrasted significantly with the state of the room) .

As there were no windows in the room the air inside was raw and a bit stale, the fan doesn't sort this. The furniture is in average to poor conditions. The room is rather dark, not very cosy - though due to price and location absolutely fine just to take a shower and sleep overnight. One of the ceiling lamp does not turn off at all (suppose to avoid pitch darkness due to n. o windows), but it is sealed with some kind of colored film, so the unswitched light at night is not very bright so did not really interfere sleeping. There are no sockets near the beds, actually, there are only 2 sockets in the room (which are used for a kettle, a fan and all the gadgets of the residents), which is clearly not enough for a triple room (with the need to charge at least 3 mobile phones).

The staff were fabulous and very friendly. Always available and happy to help if and when we needed them. The room was big and spacious and the location couldn't have been more central, we were able to walk everywhere and had every amenity on our doorstep! Would 100000% recommend this hotel. Huge window in the room where the baby could watch the cars and buses go by, kept him entertained whilst we had a break lol. Not the room for you if you need absolute dead silence, you could hear the world outside but easily remedied by bringing earplugs!

There's no restaurant available for lunch and dinner, they only serve breakfast but it was nice enough and there were plenty of restaurants and places to eat on the same road as the hotel. The TV was spotty and old fashioned but we didn't really need the TV because we were always out and about. There's no lift so had to carry the pram up and down the stairs but realised at check out that I could've left the pram in the luggage holder area.

The hotel is within easy reach of the railway station, which suited us, and from there we were able to access all that we wanted to. The breakfast was a perfect size for us with the option of ordering extra should we have wanted to. The bedroom smelt wonderfully fresh with lovely clean linen. Having a window which opened was a bonus as I love fresh air in a bedroom whilst sleeping.

Unfortunately we were unable to shower during our stay due to a number of issues. Firstly no hot water when we wanted it as it was very hit and miss with a habit of suddenly running cold. Also the bath/shower control was in pieces and fell off when handled. The fact that the plug supplied to fit the wash basin was too big to fit the plug hole made even having a strip wash, in luke warm water, difficult. Also the bedroom laminate floor was dusty with a couple of pieces of litter left from the previous occupant.

Staff were so friendly and helpful, good location, shocked at some of the bad reviews because for the price I thought it was great. The noise of the trains from being on the lower floor didn't bother me at all. I actually had 3 good night's sleep I thought it was quiet and comfy. Great location for me as close to the train station and shops. My room had a fan, heater, hair dryer, kettle, tea and coffee, TV and a hairdryer also which I think was good for a cheaper priced hotel compared to some others I've stayed in, in the city centre

The staff were all really helpful & nothing was too much trouble, from extra tea bags to recommendations for places to eat. The breakfast was excellent in both taste & value for money, made fresh to order from the lovely chef. The room had no window & was lovely & quiet which is what we wanted. The location is excellent for the town center & Lime St station. I would stay here again on my next trip to Liverpool.

Could have done with a couple more hangers in the wardrobe but we could have asked if needed.

CHEAP compared to hotels in the area. We just needed somewhere to sleep for a few hours. Room was freshly painted and clean. Very basic but that's all we needed. 4 beds and a bathroom. Staff were friendly and helpful. Parking close by and close to the town centre.

Last time we stayed we had an upstairs room which provided a huge window. This gave us much pleasure watching all the inebriated drinkers staggering around like zombies. Unfortunately this time we were in the basement and no such fun was had.

The printworks was a really pleasant surprise. The room was big and airy with a very large window out onto the main road although the windows cut out most of the street noise. The bathroom was large and refurbished to a high standard. All staff were really pleasant and helpful. Would definitely stay again, plus the price was very reasonable.

The bed was a bit lumpy and uncomfortable, could do with a new mattress and the shower wasn’t very powerful at all but none of that spoiled my stay.

Was a decent midrange hotel, but what really boosted my rating was when I woke up my first morning to flooding in my bathroom. They were instantly responsive, giving me access to an unoccupied room to shower and get ready, as well as a free breakfast, and moving me to an upgraded room as soon as it was available that afternoon. I'm so appreciative for that instant desire to fix things!

Windowless room got a little stuffy but AC helped, especially with the heat wave!
