The location really makes this hotel a perfect choice for a short stay in Liverpool. In addition, from the moment we arrived to our departure yesterday, we were made to feel at home by their wonderful staff, including the owner/manager whom we had a nice chat with yesterday. We met 4 or 5 staff over the weekend and they were just brilliant. We arrived much earlier than the stated check-in time and asked if we could leave our bags till later but were assigned a room straight away. Also, just inside the front door is a warm and welcoming, large sitting-type room that doubles up as bar and breakfast room. While we didn't avail of breakfast, their prices are beyond reasonable. I realise this doesn't sit comfortably with many other reviews on here, but be assured, as 1st timers in Liverpool, we have no contact/relationship with this property whatsoever. However, we will definitly visit Liverpool again and iwill book this hotel every time. We loved it💚💚

The hotel was spotlessly clean and very well organised. The staff were excellent and went out of their way to make sure we had everything we wanted. Breakfast was available at a reasonable price and cooked to order by cheerful and friendly staff. There was a lovely lounge area with TV and tea and coffee available all the time. The location was central and convenient for the town, bus and train stations. All in all a very good stay and would stay there again.

No real complaints - mattress on our bed could do with being renewed and would be nice to have reading lights over the bed head in the smaller rooms but very minor details that did not spoil our stay.

The room was amazing and really spacious. Bathroom was modern and loads of fresh towels. Room also came with a dressing table and wardrobe perfect if you’re using your stay and need to do your make up etc. Air conditioning panel inside room so you can control the overall temperature and a decent size TV so you can connect to Netflix etc. It’s also located right in the heart of Liverpool town centre so close to shops and many places to eat out and the train station.

At the time of our stay, the WiFi was down which can be hard especially for families with young children or if you’re staying at the hotel for business as you couldn’t access many of the TV channels or connect your devices to the WIFI. We were also woken up extremely early by a faulty fire alarm which did put a bit of a dampener on our stay.

Staff were really lovely so friendly it felt like I was at home the 2 ladies chatted away to us which made us feel welcome seen few Fights down the street which we were bit nervous about upon going back to our hotel only thing I didn't like was nobody seems to get checked going in n dey go upstairs without been asked are u a resident staying here I seen few go in with drink to very others staying there n that made me nervous as I thought they weren't staying there as guests other than that it was lovely staff 2 women were really lovely thanks for chatting away to us making us feel welcome

The whole stay was extremely comfortable and good value for money in a very convenient location right in the city centre, just a 5 minute walk from Liverpool Lime Street station and all main places of interests were within walking distance. Even though we were central and our room was on the side of a main road, we were impressed by the noise insulation. We were also very pleased with our breakfast - we had a very decent portion, lovingly cooked by the lovely, accommodating staff here. Staff were extremely friendly, welcoming and more than happy to help with any queries. We would book here again if we came back to Liverpool!

How accommodating, helpful and pleasant the staff were when we first arrived.This initial first meeting set the tone for the rest of our stay which we thoroughly enjoyed.

No accessibility to room for our wheelchair. I know this sounds petty but having to ask for toilet roll was a bit off putting. The bath drain needed old hair build up removed, there was mold on the rubber sealant around the bath and we had a wonky toilet seat! Also the flashing coloured light in the hallway cheapened the area as did the water stained carpet on the second floor.

Third time staying at printworks, travel over with my son for the football, stay in printworks, doesn't disappoint, excelkent value, central location in liverpool , bars, restaurants and shipping areas nearby. Close to lime st station. Room was clean, warm and quiet. Bed was comfortable had a couple of nights of brilliant sleep. Quality on a budget, Will stay again.

Very minor issue, tea/coffee making facillities not restocked, mentioed to reception when passing and sorted.

The room available had no window so was expecting a “brooom cupboard” however we were pleasantly surprised. The room was perfectly adequate for the time we were there and on ground floor. We came for Strictly so could have done with being nearer event but otherwise pretty ideally situated. Breakfast was adequate for what we wanted and value for money

Air conditioning a bit noisy clicking on and off during night but probably necessary as no window! The lack of a window was no problem as have stayed in hotels in various countries all with windows but some with a view you wouldn’t choose anyway. Underground trains rumbling underneath my be a problem to someone but quite therapeutic in a strange way

Leaving a 5* review just for the customer service provided by Martin (night manager). Upgraded our room when we requested and did some juggling around to get us a better room. Nothing was too much trouble for him and he's a credit to this business. Didn't actually stay overnight or use the room. My partner and I had tickets to the theatre. Just before the show started a family emergency came up meaning we had to leave. Rushed back to the hotel to get our belongings together before heading home. As I say this review is based on the customer service - 2nd to none

Staff were excellent, super friendly with everything. There was actually 24h reception with a person to talk to in case I needed something. Storing a bag after checking out was not a problem either. Messages before arrival were also answered quickly and problems solved swiftly.

I think it's a waste of resources to change my towels if I'm only staying for two nights. I would have liked the option to opt out of that. There wasn't much space in the room, but a little table and a reading lamp by the bed would make it a lot more comfortable.
