Well we went with the intentions of if we didn’t like it we would get somewhere else to stay as I don’t usually believe the reviews when they’re too good to be true ,From arriving to departing we felt well and truly looked after all the staff we met where fantastic especially the 2 Julie’s and Tracy we didn’t get other names.It’s spotless clean thanks Tracy .Friendly is a understatement I enjoyed our stay more because of the welcome we got and a special thanks for the free tickets for the comedy show for our anniversary. We immediately tried to book for next year when we got home but the dates we want are fully booked so I will contact them soon and see if they have any dates that would suit us to go back again .I really wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else now it’s the best place in Liverpool .

Stairs as I have disabilities was only thing I didn’t like but if I had to crawl up i would still go back .

Where do you start. The hidden gem of Liverpool City Centre. A stone's throw from the Albert Docks and in the heart of the nightlife, the place couldn't be better suited to couples, friends and families alike. Check-in at the bar downstairs (zero hassle) to a lovely big room which was immaculate. Seriously. I did the four in a bed finger sweep. CSI couldn't find a fingerprint in this place. Yes there are stairs, but it's good exercise. Your Fitbit will love you! Plus burns off a few calories for the great food venues in the area. I've never given a 10/10 of anywhere I've stayed but this place deserves an 11! Side note, zero noise from the bar downstairs (brave lad supporting Man U Vs Bayern last night btw), and thankyou so much to the lady from the bar who organised the taxi firm to bring back my lost phone as. Well. I'm an idiot. Defo staying again! Love, Brett

Friendliness of the staff. This property is owner run from the pu The Slaughter House to the accommodation. As we arrived into Liverpool early morning and not leaving until late on the day of checking out our bags were kept safely at the property The room was spotless and beds were extremely comfortable. Tea/coffee making facilities. Hairdryer lots of very soft bath towels. A wonderful quiet fan in the room that kept it at a lovely temperature. Very good Music in the bar but finishes early enough 11.30 /12 . Just in case your an early bird. 3 mins walk from the main shop, bars & restaurants and in the other direction 5 mins from Albert Docks.Literally around the corner from James Street train station. Highly recommended would definitely stay again.

Tracey was amazing it was my mums 75th birthday and we arrived to a bottle of prosseco and beautiful balloon. Helpful. Kind and welcoming. Loved the bath after a long day I took my own cleaning spray in case because well you never know was not needed bath and shower immaculate. Comfy beds. Love liverpool and the people amazing. Can't rate our stay highly enough again thank you Tracey for making it that little bit more special. A break away full of memories. 5 min walk from Albert Dock and cavern club perfect for us. Good quality fan in our room as the weather turned very warm.

Nothing to dislike. Is it noisy in central liverpool? well yes a bit however I don't know a very centrally located hotel that will be quiet if that's what you are looking for then i wouldn't stay central have a couple drinks and you will sleep soundly. There is no lift if stairs are an issue.

Very friendly staff offering a warm welcome who took us to the room and pointed out important facilities like the WiFi code and emergency out of office hours contact phone number. The provision of a fan to keep the air circulating in the room was a godsend given the warm weather we experienced. The host also ensured we knew how to open the outside door to enter the building after hours. Very comfy beds and great water pressure at the shower.

There was nothing we disliked but might suggest the complimentary tea/coffee includes a decaf option.

Unfortunately due to weather no TV But I was compensated by a breakfast & a drink! Very nice If you would like your room refreshed each day just request, No problem there Rooms are above the Slaughterhouse Pub Enter through a big yellow door separate entrance beside pub, request key from pub staff

Tracey who owns the property was so nice, warm and friendly, nothing was a bother. It was my husbands 70th birthday. When we arrived they gave us a birthday drink and in the room was a birthday balloon and banner. All the staff in the bar were also excellent, again nothing was a bother. The rooms were lovely, lovely big bathroom. They haven’t been long done up. We were in the Mersey room very spacious.

The stairs leading up to the room, although it wouldn’t stop me from staying again.

This is a recent renovation of rooms above the Slaughterhouse pub. Perfect location for an overnight stay in the city. Met by the lovely friendly owner who showed us to our room. Spacious room and bathroom, immaculately clean with coffee and tea making facilities and bottled water provided. Bed very comfortable! Would definitely stay again and recommend as a good value for money option in the city.

The rooms were fabulous and beds were large and just so comfortable had a amazing sleep and fantastic breakfast with friendly staff cudnt ask for more at such a cheap rate tbh and had access to come and go wherever you liked will be staying again 😊

If had any comments wud be needed more shelves or side space but managed comfortably enough with wot we had i just had alot of luggage with me 🤣🤣

Super location! An easy walk from Lime Street Station and central for historical walks around docks and easy buses around Liverpool from James Street. The pub below is amoung the oldest in Liverpool and serves a huge and reasonable priced breakfast. Staff are super friendly and so helpful for orienting around the city.

It was fab! Clean, extra towels.
