The location was great, and very clean

You had to checkout at 10 and pay £15 to keep room on until 1pm

Loved that i had a private bathroom, i prefer a private bathroom when travelling. I loved that i could come and go anytime day or night and during the night there were security at reception. Staff were friendly and told me how to get to my room when i checked in. I had a quick checkout, just handed back the room card and said i was checking out and that was it, nice and easy. Bed was firm and comfortable, pretty central location and was quiet during the night. Free wifi.

The shower base filling up with water when i showered, i think the pipes were blocked causing this to happen. No batteries in tv remote but i don't watch much tv anyway so it didn't really bother me The thing i really didn't like was only having 2 small bags in the bin, so i would take my own bin bags next time as they fill up too quickly. No bin emptying the whole time i was there, housekeeping only knocked once but i said no that day, i don't think they bothered other than that as each day i came back to a still non emptied bin and that's my ick, an overflowing bin. That was about the only thing i really wanted to be sorted daily.

Nice place for a short-stay in the Cavern part of Liverpool, near the pubs, train station and shopping centre. Big room with comfortable bed and private bath, both very clean. Bath tools are provided. Friendly staff encouraged to help guests with any problem. Free luggage keeping is provided until chek-in.

The room was very cold every day because the air conditioned did not work well, it was impossible to turn it off unless we asked to the reception staff who needs to stop it using the central control. Althoug it was not a problem for us, in fact it was very funny, getting to our room was like crossing a mace (upstairs, downstairs, right, left...several times). The price is a little bit high considering that dayly cleaning is not provided, which it seems to be commun in UK. No coffe or teapot machines are provided, but good bar are close to the hotel.

Good sized room in Hotel building B. Excellent central location. Walking distance to all City Center sites, Liverpool One shopping, Waterfront, Galleries, Albert Docks. Lime Street Train Station 10-15 minutes easy walk. Loads of restaurants and cafes around. Check in was straightforward.

Not the cleanest place really and some general maintenance needed. Black mold around the sink in the bathroom. Several curtains half hanging off the rails. Long complicated, one floor down the next walk to room situatrd in a separate but connected older part of the hotel (Building B). There are charges for leaving bags for just a few hours after check out.

Location is great for Matthew Street. 5 minute walk away (at most). Staff at the check in/ check out desk were very pleasant and informative. Discount on nearby parking was appreciated (a very expensive overnight parking stay otherwise). Knocked the price of our overnight stay to £11.99 (instead of £24.99).

Our room was a bit run down. Small portable electric heater in the room that looked like it had seen better days. Bathroom door didn't close properly. Nor did it lock. The light above the bed was broken (just flickered if turned on), so we couldn't use it.

Always stay here. Location is great. Staff are super freindly and so helpful. Would recommend to anyone. Changed our room as it wasnt appropriate. Just so we were nearer a lift as my freind couldnt walk that far. Cudnt thank them enough. They were so understanding. Customer service was outstanding. Not forgetting luke who carried our cases. Moved them to the new room without us being there and even hung our coats up. What more could you ask for.

Cant comment on this because there is nothing we didnt like. Just looking at booking again.

Great location, city centre and Mathew Street just around the corner, perfect. Room clean and functional, no frills and the bedsprings as stated in other reviews were poking out of the mattress. Luckily we'd had plenty to drink so slept like logs anyway. Overall I can't fault it of looking for location over anything else

Bed uncomfortable if I'd been sober, the price is a little high for what you get, and the check in time of 4pm, and check out at 10am makes you feel like it's a hostel not a hotel. A lie in, even in an dodgy bed, would have been lovely

Very clean and comfortable. Good location.

Very noisy on Saturday night - ear plugs a must. It’s a very sprawling set out so I wouldn’t recommend for anyone with even basic access needs.

We were only there one night but great central location, with lots of paid parking nearby. The staff were great and we were able to check in quite late at night (10pm) with no problems. The beds were comfy and rooms really nicely decorated and spacious. Huge windows and very bright. Close to the ferry port if needing a stop over before travelling (like us).

The bathroom door didn’t lock or close properly which was a bit awkward when showering. The was air conditioning but it didn’t really work very well. It was a bit loud at night as it was a central location and there was a festival on - it didn’t bother us too much but if you’re a light sleeper it might not be the best place for you.

The location is amazing and is located on the bustling Castle St, Liverpool, right in the city centre. It is close to all local amenities, bars, restaurants and shops are all just a stones through away. The Staff were extremely friendly and helpful and quick with my check-in, and even helped me purchase a late check-out.

The mattress was a bit hard, but each to their own regarding firmness of a mattress. I also was unable to turn the air-conditioning off which came on Late at night the control panel next to the door literally would not adjust it or turn it off after trying multiple times. Luckily in the end I found the electric cupboard and flipped the fuse trip switch to turn it off so there was no electric running to it anymore.
