Superb location for sightseeing, great access to Lime Street Station. Welcoming and professional staff at the reception desk, had no problems with storing our suitcases after check out. The room was cleaned, with toiletries and tea/coffee replenished, and the bed linen was changed after two nights. Our room was equipped for people with mobility issues, which would definitely be a plus for someone needing that equipment.

Not the hotel's fault at all, but our room faced the back alley with recycling bins used by local businesses (pubs, etc.) and it was extremely noisy when they disposed of glass bottles during the night/early morning.

The Property was lovely, very clean & every member of staff that worked on reception were welcoming/friendly, especially the bloke that greeted us when we arrived. We were upgraded to a balcony for free which was perfect for us, made paying £45 for closest car park for 2 days more worth it. The bathroom was excellent, loved the bathtub (and the rubber duck was a cute touch). I would definitely come again.

- Bed pillows need replacing due to being overused - they’re as flat as pancakes, making them uncomfortable/no support when sleeping. - only half the buttons on the TV remote worked, making it difficult to navigate the tv (e.g: menu guide button & volume button). - despite being on the 3rd floor, we managed to find a slug in our room 😂

This hotel is quite underrated as it has excellent location and nice rooms especially some of the superior rooms which I'm often upgraded to. Decor is nice and rooms always clean. It's failing is only that it's almost invisible from the street so hasn't really gained the popularity it deserves. Pricing is always good because of this an the fact that we are all spoilt foir choice for properties in Liverpool which are plenty.

Nothing is neither BW or the staffs fault the entrance from the street is hard to even find but its a shame because internally its a nice building past reception and all clean and tidy.

Heywood House Hotel is located in the city center only 600 m/8 min. walk north of Liverpool One Bus Station. I was accommodated in a double room overlooking the street with a private bathroom with a bathtub. I had everything I needed in the room. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. Very good price for a hotel in the city center. Nice staff worked at the reception. The accommodation exceeded my expectations. I would stay at this hotel again on my next visit to Liverpool.

I do not see any cons at this hotel.

The location was perfect for us, so close to the centre of the city and there were lots of food options, bars, shops around. The docks were a stones throw away which was perfect for us to go and explore. Black out curtains were a bonus, useful for those well needed lay ins!

The bed was a little uncomfortable and the bathroom door was incredibly squeaky - not the end of the world of course, but I managed to spook my partner both nights when going to the bathroom, oops! TV was dated, so only had the choice of normal tv and the quality was not HD - again not the end of the world, but a good TV usually comes as standard nowadays. As a warning, you could hear the music from the local bars/clubs through the walls but this dies down around 1am :-)

We stayed in room 305 which was really nice. Quite quirky and fun. It had a balcony which was unexpected. Was fully equipped with a hairdryer, iron and ironing board, Nespresso machine and DAB radio. Absolutely loved The White Company toiletries in the bathroom too. It was spotlessly clean and the bed was so comfortable. We had a brilliant night’s sleep. The staff were really friendly and polite too. The location was great, right in the heart of Liverpool.

Nothing, it was fantastic, couldn’t fault it.

rang us to remind us of the checkout time been though we had booked & checked in for 2 nights. which meant the cleaner also started to come in even though the do not disturb sign was on. everything lovely but would possibly just have a sink rather than a big unit around it as this made it awkward to use the toilet especially in the middle of the night when it was dark. it also made the bathroom feel small even thoug it was a good size

Very well-located hotel, few minutes from Albert Dock, shopping malls, Cavern Quarter; the hotel is also within waling distance from Aiport Bus Stop at Liverpool One. Staff were helpful and nice, they provided us a UK-type plug so we can charge our phones, and we didn´t have to buy one. The room was comfortable and clean, Wi-fi was good.

There was a request for a deposit (50 pounds) which would be refunded after 5-6 working days. This could be better clarified when performing the booking, I am not sure Booking provided this information.

This is a well situated with easy access around the city. The room was clean and quiet with good and effective air conditioning and all facilities and more in comparison to some of the more expensive hotels in Liverpool.

I didn't like that photo ID and a £50 deposit were required which, I wasn't informed about at booking and rather worried me as to the standard of the hotel I was booking into despite the reviews. I had also paid fully prior to arrival. However my impressions were unfounded.

The room was clean and in a good state of repair The. Beds were very comfortable with extra pillows if needed. Easily controlled heating system. The hotel itself is lovely and clean .The staff were friendly and helpful . The location was perfect. There was an option to have your room decorated for a celebration which I did which made it that bit more special, also an option for a room upgrade a few days before which we took also.

Getting in and out of the shower was a bit scary as it was very slippy. After speaking to reception they provided us with non slip mats for inside and outside of the shower. If you are staying for more than one or two days the wardrobe space is very limited.
