Great location, close to the museums, tube,.. Nice breakfast, friendly staff and we slept well in the bed. Loved the big fridge in the room and a luggage storage.

Only 2 things which are mentionable- towel holder and no fan. Strangely no fan/ aircon. Luckily with open windows the night was ok and cool enough. The room was warm during the day. However, wish the room could have been a little cooler and might be able to sleep longer. I missed any kind of towel holder next to sink and a (heating) towel rack for bath towels would have been nice too.

The location was ideal for my requirements, as I had two local meetings to attend and visits to the museums in and around Cromwell Road. The staff at The Acacia were friendly and approachable. Breakfast was continental. The room met my needs, with tea/coffee provided. A desk, wardrobe and comfortable bed. Also, a private shower/toilet across the hall. I was on a tight budget and the price fell into that perfectly. There's really not much else to add. I had a great week and enjoyed my stay in London. I will definitely look for availability here, when I next stay over in London.

I can honestly say, there's nothing I didn't like. Apart from the fact that I wish I could have stayed longer.

Amazing location: steps from the subway (underground), a few minutes walk to Kensington Gardens, right next to Natural History Museum & Royal Albert Hall. Good breakfast (even for a family of picky eaters!): coffee & tea, cereal, muesli, yogurt, cold meats & cheese, hard boiled eggs, tomatoes, fruit, 2-3 types of bread, pastries, butter, jam, and other condiments. I prefer a protein packed breakfast, so I was pretty satisfied with the selection. My room was clean, well-maintained, and had daily housekeeping. Super friendly and helpful staff (the front desk guy & breakfast area ladies). Thank you so much for such a welcoming atmosphere! Will stay there again.

The hotel is a bit outdated, but it’s still a nice place to stay. The only teeny tiny trash can is not enough for a family room. Not very comfortable pillows.

Location was perfect for us, <10min walk to Albert Hall and <5min to lots of bars and pubs for food. Hotel is a work in progress upgrading from hostel to a hotel but we knew that on booking. So no surprises and a lovely door out to a balcony to let some much needed sunny spring air in (room 13 and we didn't care one bit). Kettle and tea/coffee and towels provided. Bed nice and clean and comfy, bathroom super clean and shower hot and fast. Looking forward to coming again and having breakfast there when works are complete. The building is lovely and the manager friendly and welcoming. We were 2 lone women on a birthday treat in London and it felt safe and cosy, thanks x

Only one glass and one tiny cup for tea provided, when there were 2 of us. Would've preferred a mug and one each, also some biscuits as no breakfast yet available 😉 Radiator pipes were banging in the night, cracked glass in window and vents had tape on them, hoping this is fixed on the current upgrades, but it wasn't winter so was OK temperature in the room and for the price and location it was OK by us.

Fantastic staff and spacy room. Good continental breakfast with warm eggs, some ham and cheese, yoghurt, cereals and fruit. A hairdryer in the room, coffee & tea. Ironing facilities available in hallway without additional request. Non Uk guests can charge their mobiles using a built-in usb charger, wich I have noticed just after having bought an adaptor. Location is fantastic - very close to tube and just 2 min away from the Natural history museum. Shops and cafés nearby. Highly recommend 👍

we've had a room at the 3rd floor which was quite challenging for us to reach since no elevator. 3rd floor sounds good, but after a long walking day it was a challenge even for my 10 year old one. If it would be 1st or 2nd floor I would rate it as 10 😊 thank you guys for such a lovely service!

I've been coming to this hotel several times now and I always recommend it to friends and family. I used to come here when it was just a hostel. Today it's a hotel in its own with large rooms and private bathrooms. The hotel has been completely renovated and the rooms and bathrooms are really great and very clean. Breakfast is included and you can find everything you need to get your day a good start. The hotel staff are all without exception are great this is the best value for money hotel in London zone 1. If you arrive earlier than your check-in time or have already checked out and still want to enjoy the city they also have a luggage storage room.

This property was in the perfect location for sightseeing in London. Directly opposite the national history museum which amazed me for the price I paid. We were greeted by a lovely man I think the owner and he checked us in swiftly and didn’t mind our late check in at all. The room was spacious and comfortable with everything we needed including a fan and the bathroom was excellent my grandson couldn’t wait to use the huge shower! Had no idea about the complimentary breakfast and again everything we needed to start our day! Cereals, toast, fresh meat, yoghurts, fruit and pastries along with drinks! Our room was on the top floor yes there’s a lot of stairs but I’ve come to expect that in these types of hotel. Definitely recommend and will definitely be returning to the acacia for my next stay in London! 10/10 from us!

Nothing everything was spot on for us

We stayed for an event at the Albert Hall so it was great location and very good priced. The building might look plain to others but it was really nice in the room. Lots of stuff came in the room which was good. Stuff like the fan you useally have to ask for. While we didn't use room service as we was on a tight budget, it was a cool and stress free idea.

Nearly not getting into the room. I was asked my I'd, which I never really have on me. I used my phone and card in the end but this should of been made clear to us before traveling all that way. I would of been very angry if I'd been refused stay. Also the fan was a bit wonky.

Excellent location, museums & parks within walking distance & a tube station 5 minute walk away also there is a regular bus service to West Kensington. Hotel Acacia was easy to find. I was greeted by a friendly member of staff who allowed me to leave my luggage in storage before check in. The room I was in was clean with fresh bed linen & towels, my bathroom was across the hall which also was clean with a good shower. Breakfast although not cooked had a lovely selection of cereals, yogurts, fruits cheese cold meats toast with jam or honey & a choice of coffee, tea & juices.

My room was on the 4th floor, they don’t have a lift so this was very tiring to climb flights of stairs especially if you have bags. This may not be the place for you if you’re not a stair person cos there’s plenty of them. The room was very warm but there was a fan so can’t complain there. On the leaflet it says all rooms have fridges mine (43)did not which I would have appreciated also I didn’t have a bin. It would be nice if there was some hooks in the bathroom. But I think it is still under modernisation as there was no mirror either.

Hotel in a very good location, quiet and safe area. Very close to buses and the underground. You can easily get to London's main attractions (5 min. walk from Natural History Museum). Several grocery shops and quite a few restaurants and bars in the area. The hotel itself having been refreshed, the room for 4 people was large and clean, the bathroom was also clean and comfortable. There were towels, basic toiletries and a hairdryer in the room and even a fridge. A buffet breakfast was included, everything fresh and as it should be. We are very satisfied with our stay here.

The room was in the basement, so no views outside the window. But for us it wasn't a problem as we were out of the hotel all day.
