Excellent spot. Perfect location for visiting the V&A and a short walk to the South Kensington tube stop. The room was small but stylish and comfortable. The housekeeping staff did a first-rate job in cleaning and refreshing the room each day, ensuring that I had bottled water, coffee, and snacks. The air conditioning was great, and best of all, there was no street noise in the room. A quiet room is hard to come by in Central London. The reception staff at this small hotel is helpful and friendly, but you have to approach them. I suspect they are all relatively new at their tasks and have not yet felt comfortable initiating greetings to customers and asking if there is anything they can do for you. It's not rudeness. It's inexperience.

Staff lovely and friendly, and easy to find, location great bed very comfy lots of space.Car park round the corner was a little expensive £60/£80 for the night but that wasn’t to do with the hotel.

Room needs some tlc some of the furniture coming apart few stains here and there, and for the price we paid £360 I didn’t expect to see wear and tear, could do with a lick of paint in places, and the shower room looked a little tired, also only had one packet of crisps in the room between us was a little baffled by that lol I would stay again though.

Our weekend away was for my birthday and the first room we were in although slightly smaller than expected was beautifully decorated and very clean, with a balcony looking onto the mews houses behind the hotel. Unfortunately as light sleepers the noise from the air conditioning units outside kept us awake. When I mentioned this to The Manager she could not have been more helpful. We were moved rooms and not only that upgraded free of charge, once we had packed, our luggage was all moved for us while we enjoyed our day. Our new room was stunning, with a beautiful terrace and we could not fault it. We had a fantastic stay and the artwork throughout the hotel makes every other hotel (and I have stayed in quite a few) seem dull and boring. I would highly recommend this hotel, the staff were all helpful, cheery and couldn’t do enough for you. Continental breakfast was plentiful, with a great selection. The location was excellent and the transport links are good. We had the best time and the only downside was we couldn’t stay longer.

There was nothing we didn’t like.

We stayed at the hotel for two nights. We stayed in a Deluxe Double room which we thought was beautiful it was a good size for London and had a very nice bathroom with a bath and shower. The tiles were also heated which was a nice touch. The bed was very comfortable and the airconditioning worked well. We had a window overlooking the street out the front of the hotel. The room was very quiet. We had breakfast included on both mornings of our stay. It was buffet and had a great selection of differant breakfast items. The staff were very friendly and obliging. They stored our luggage for us all day on the last day of our stay. The hotel is in a great position very close to a metro stop and there are many cafes and restaurants very close by.

This was a 1-night stay to visit Portobello Road Market and the Notting Hill Carnival, which are a short bus or tube journey away. The location was fantastic. Right next to the natural history and near the V&A museums. There are plenty of good restaurants and coffee shops close by. The hotel had a fun vibe. Staff were great. 2-4-1 cocktails during happy hour - not usually my thing, but it is now! Our room was spotlessly clean with good facilities - extra decorations to celebrate our recent wedding were a nice touch and unexpected. The hotel mentioned that breakfast was continental, so there was no full English, but there were scrambled eggs if you wanted something hot. As well as all the normal cold meats, cheeses, yoghurts, cereals, and pastries. Unless you are incredibly fussy, I can't imagine you'd find it difficult to make a good breakfast from the offerings. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay, and this will now likely be our go-to place when visiting London.

Nothing I can think of

The hotel was brilliantly designed and had loads to catch the eye the moment you walked in. We stayed in the glamour room (002) and it was stunning. They had also very kindly decorated our room with heart balloons and petals for our anniversary- wanted to say a big thank you for this, is made our day feel even more special , as well as reception staff saying happy anniversary to us on our arrival. The room felt so clean and tidy and the hot tub , shower and bath was exceptional . The bed too was very comfy and there was also 3 TVs by the hot tub, bed and sofa! I also felt the small touches of the coffee machine, biscuits, crisps, robes, slippers etc…made our stay worth the money. The room service drinks were also great, as you could enjoy a nicely presented bottle of wine whilst you were in the hot tub. We didn’t have breakfast at the hotel so I can’t provide any feedback on this. Thank you for a great stay ! Will definitely be returning. Thanks, Emma B.

No negatives to report.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Exterior: peaceful, residential and perfect location. Yet close to South Ken tube station, good restaurants, Kensington Gardens, V&A etc etc. Interior: cool, creative and eye catching environment. Very clean room (except for carpet and curtains), comfortable bed and thick curtains. Generous with refreshments (but the milk was sour): bottles of water, cookies, good variety of coffee capsules etc. Good to be able to take out a suit case rack from the closet. The long shoe horn and the anti-slip mat (for shower and tub) were useful. Excellent to have a separate shower and bath tub. Adapters available at reception. Good quality towels, toiletries, and toilet tissue (!). Bathrobes and slippers.

The carpet in our room had several stains and the “net” curtains were also stained. The room was on the small side. There were some decoration details that weren’t practical: the water on the shower floor and by the zink, didn’t dry up; wooden details were starting to wither because of excess water; bad lighting and poor placement of mirrors for putting on make up (I had to use my pocket mirror and stand by the window, outside of the bathroom); no enlargement mirror in bathroom.

Close to the Royal Albert Hall which was the reason for our visit and in a nice and also a quiet neighbourhood but with plenty of restaurants within easy walking distance. Staff were friendly and helpful, especially the lady who looked after us during breakfast. Paid extra for breakfast as I forgot to include it in the booking but we were pleased with the quality and the variety of food available for breakfast. Bed was firm but comfy and coffee, tea etc was plentiful with a nice little touch of a pair of round mint chocolates left after the room had been serviced each day. Room was nicely decorated and pleasant, nice TV. Shower worked well and bathroom was nicely appointed with various soaps, shampoos body cream provided.

This is an expensive area so it is not a cheap place to stay. Our room was apparently an upgrade although it was only just large enough and there was only one chair, so one of us was sitting on the bed which is not ideal. The bedside drawers were rickety and one of the curtain tie backs was loose. But nothing significant and we would return.

Great location - even the signage and doors showed this was a 'different' hotel. Greeted immediately and very warmly by two people on reception. Upgraded room. Complimentary bottle of champagne. Cleanliness and decor of room. Having a window (often not the case in London hotels!!) Nice relaxed bar area which doubles for breakfast. ALL staff very friendly, polite and warm with advice on where to visit also.

The Continual Breakfast was very nice and good value but when I asked about 'dairy-free' yoghurt I was made to feel a little'silly' by one of the people serving.
