Top location, excellent restaurant, attentive and polite staff.

Relatively small room. Cleanliness is an area for improvement.

The room was very clean and I appreciated the free water bottles (in plant-based plastic), fancy chocolate and cookies, as well as tea and coffee selection. Although this is probably an older building, the room smelled very fresh and nice. The cleaning service is perfect, and you can decide if you want to use it every day or instead, get a voucher worth 7 pounds for their restaurant/bar, which I liked. The breakfast was awesome,

On some mornings, guests had to wait in a queue for breakfast for about 5-10 minutes, because you need to be seated to a table, and even though many tables were available, they didn't have the cutlery prepared.

Premium location, heart of London and right next to many theatres. Breakfast was outstanding and so was the customer service. Rooms are quite small and simple, but i think the idea is to spend as little time in the room and enjoy all that London has to offer

Smaller room sizes, this should be mentioned in the hotel description please, booking.com can add a note - rooms are smaller than average. I was on level 9 and there was a constant whirring sound from the ongoing construction, i had to keep the window shut because of this. Again, this could be mentioned in booking.com so that potential guests know what to expect.

Room was fine, if a bit small. The breakfast options were great but with the exception that the automatic coffee machines broke down .. so no cafe latte. The serving staff in the restaurant were exceptionally helpful.. especially the serving staff on the hot breakfast buffet. Hats off to the fabulous doormen.. always greeting us with a smile and flagging down taxis with great success when required.

Unfortunately housekeeping were a bit over zealous the morning we were checking out and knocked on our door at 8.30 in the morning. Unfortunately given the English language capabilities of housekeeping it was impossible to explain that we were having breakfast and then vacating the room... Otherwise all housekeeping staff were extremely efficient and our room was made up during our breakfast over our 3 night stay

Very good. Quality ingredients for breakfast. Staff helpful. Very clean everywhere. Great location, very convenient for most things.

One of our party decided that they did not want the prepaid breakfast after all. The reception staff said that this was part of the booking contract and there could be no refund for this. Very convenient for the hotel. The fact that no breakfast was taken for 2 days and flagged up in advance was a material. gain by the hotel and such inflexibility should not apply if fairness to the customer is a priority for them. I deem this unacceptable and unfair to the paying customer that reimbursement was not offered for unprovided items.

This hotel is beautiful. I wasn't expecting much since I usually book middle of the range places, but this one is very nice. Location was central to see all the London sights, we walked to many of the sights and also utilized the hop on hop off tour bus. Rooms were very comfortable. We did not eat here so no words on their food. We did see in house restaurants and bar. Staff was very helpful, answered our questions and were accommodating when we requested specifics.

I know London is pricey and this hotel was no exception. The rooms were excellent, cannot beat the location. And I would not have changed where we stayed to see the city...just wish it didn't cost so much :)

King bed was large and comfortable ( soft side ). Facilities were clean. Staff was friendly. Wood window shutters in room allowed complete blackout of light during day. Really nice on first day when early sleep was needed to counter long flight and jet lag set in. Good breakfast and convenient location within heart in Central London's Covent Garden/West End (many theatres all around), easy access to public transportation (#15 bus on Strand) and short walk to Covent Garden or Charing Cross Underground Stations or bit more to Embankment station. Our deluxe room (extra cost) came with complimentary mini-bar, including cold soda, wine, beer, coffee, tea, snacks and sweets which were re-stocked by room service each day.

A bit pricey. Small slow elevators. Room was not very large by US standards, but more than big enough for me and my wife. Breakfast which was plentiful (good) buffet, self serve for the most part, was the exactly the same every day (no variance of offerings- not good). Orange juice was terrible!

Beautiful hotel. Great room - recently refurbished. Loved having a fridge to use too - plus the window actually opened- a rare treat in some hotels. Even though we were overlooking the Strand it was so quiet. Excellent location - literally walking distance of all key areas - Covent Garden, Soho, Chinese Quarter, Trafalgar Square, Leicester Square, Drury Lane, Oxford Street , Thames Embankment - list is endless! Staff were brilliant - so welcoming. Ate delicious and reasonably priced meal at Haxtell's . Daughter sampled the cocktails at the Gin Palace and thoroughly approved. Will definitely return.

Everything! Second time staying at this lovely hotel. For the location the price is perfect and achievable. It's right opposite the Savoy 😀 walking distance from the West End. The staff are very attentive, I was never left standing around at any point. They seemed to know what I needed before I even asked. I had a single room, it was so comfy and had everything you could need. Icing on the cake, as I'm a sucker for free stuff, I loved the little treats I got. Breakfast was all self serve and delicious. They even have a brolly hire stand, which was ideal as it did rain

If I had to pluck something out of the air, because I do have to do that due to the fact that I loved the entire place.... eeerrmm? The lifts are slow ish🤷🏻‍♀️ but it's not really a con for me.

I stayed here for work and play in the 70s and 80s. I always loved this hotel and its location. Staff friendly but they could communicate a bit more with each other. I missed a fridge in the room which is most commonplace for this price class, but really liked the coffee corner. I chose not to have my room cleaned every day which welcomely surprisingly earned me a seven pound voucher in restaurant or bar. A nightcap wine in the bar was seven pounds, which was nice. However, I was surprised to discover that the bar was closed on Sunday and Mondays much to my disappointment. Thanks for the upgrade offer and friendly service. Loved the old-fashioned doorman touch!

That there was not a fridge in my room
