amazing friendly and welcoming staff. They explain everything very well. It's open 24 hours. The 2 kitchens are nice with 1 social room with a TV. There is 1 security guard.

bedrooms are small there are some extra small hidden fees such as luggage storage, towels, breakfast

The staff were all very helpful in a proactive manner. Katie was unbelievable but not the only one. Well beyond the call of duty. Internet was fast and furious as well as reliable. But my favourite is the kitchen despite having restricted access during too many hours and one cannot have a cuppa tea until eight. A kettle in the lounge would suffice, me thinks

The deposit for key has to be cash in an area where there are no ATMs. Staff try to justify this with poor arguments with no realisation that if you have been around the hostel circle this is without doubt the worse system around.

Friendly staff on the reception trying to create a cozy atmosphere, Excellent location - just 5 minutes walk from Tate Britain, window views are also great - Westminster, etc. the sink in the room was also quite convenient.

Breakfast was quite cheap - GBP 3.50 but poor (IMHO) and hot inside the canteen. A couple of fans during the hot period would be nice.

Nice smelling , a mixture of Boadicea and Trudon. The dom perign-pong was a welcome distraction after the caviar and trufles we took in the master bedroom which was well equipped with Frette linens and Clive Christian furniture

We liked all

The staff is very friendly and helpful. The beds are real comfortable.

The showers on the first floor are very small, you need to go to the 5th floor where they have bigger showers so it wasn't that bad.

I liked how centric the hostel is. Besides, the staff is always happy to help you with whatever you might need and they give very good advice on everything inside and in the surrounding areas of the hostel. Lastly, the people I met there were very kind in general. If someone misbehaves, he/she will be kicked out of the place. The safety measures there are taken seriously, I can only be thankful for that.

The way the sockets are arranged in the bedrooms is not strategic for everyone at all. Not a deal breaker, but not having those within reach (near your bed) makes it a bit more uncomfortable for somebody who uses electronics on a regular basis. Someone was complaining about bedbugs but never experienced that issue myself; although, replacing the mattresses would be a great investment. And the bathrooms are very small.

The hostel was cleaned daily and the bedclothes were changed and clean when I got there. The location allows to walk to the main attractions in the city center or take the public transport to everywhere. The personal was truly amazing, really helpful. The rooms have this mini drawers where you can leave your belongings and put a lock for safety. I would totally stay there again!

the room didn't have a lot of ventilation and since the days were hot and the only window (that didn't open completely) faced the street, letting the sunlight in directly, the room had a high temperature all day and part of the night too.

-The staff was extremely pleasant from Karthik, Katie, Phillippe, Bridget, Lily, Sim, Stephanie, the new guy from Australia, and that one girl from Czechia. Each member are from a different country working at the hostel so I always had someone I could talk and relate to. -The hostel weekly events that was organized by the staff members from karaoke night, live band gatherings, movie nights, pub crawl outings are posted in the kitchen dinning area if you want something to do other then taking pictures of Big Ben, London Eye, and The Tower Bridge. -The hostel is equipped with two kitchens with all the necessities to cook a meal. -Multiple refrigerators to store your food. -The Location is only a 13 minute walk from the Victoria Coach Station, A huge Sainsbury's(supermarket) is a 10 mins walk. -The lounge has a huge TV projector equipped with all the streaming apps you could watch for free. I don't know any other hostels that allows you to do that. -You can store your luggage before you check in and it is locked in a storage room in front of the reception(open 24/7) so it's always watch by the staff member on duty if you feel insecure. Overall I had the most pleasant stay during my 1.5 weeks in London. If I find myself in London I will definitely stay here again. Big shout out to Katie, Karthik & Phillippe who treated me like family during my stay. Their hospitality alone was a no brainer for me to extend multiple days.

My only complaint is the wifi in the 8 man dormitory is atrocious. It was a punch in the London Eye.

Good location, less than 10 mins walk could access bus station and train station. Staff is super friendly.

Not good privacy, if there's curtain would be great, and the socket is not near the bed

Astor Victoria what can I say? I booked this Hostel as I had a meeting in London, and initially was staying with family for a week which fell through. As a 22 year old I had never stayed in a hostel let alone been somewhere for so long - myself. From the minute I walked in and checked in with Emma and Karthik I knew I was in safe hands. They were both so welcoming and polite - set my mind at ease straight away and had a lovely conversation with me. I checked into my room which was clean, my bed was comfy and the facility’s were awesome. I initially booked for two nights, until I sorted out a Hotel . However as the week went on I ended up staying here for the full week I was down - purely due to the staffs attitude and friendliness, the ease of access to the tube and different prime London locations. And because of how well i got on with other guests. As the week went on I made great friends with the staff, who I want to keep in contact with for the rest of my life. Emma is such a kind soul and easy to get along with. Karthik is so polite, helpful and great at what he does, making every guest feel welcome. Steph and Jess “my Australian pals” we got on like a house of fire and I have unforgettable memories with them. Steph even showed me around and we had such a good time in London together. George was so kind and friendly we had such great fun and laughs together. Bridget - I felt like I had met ROYALTY. Sharing our love for Taylor Swift is something I’ll never ever forget. Unfortunately I forget the others names however I loved them all so so much and we had such a great time. Keep doing what you are doing, keep being yourselves and keep up the fabulous work, you all deserve a pat on the back. Thank you for making my stay so memorable. From dancing in the kitchen, to crying at the thought of leaving Astor Victoria MADE MY WEEK! I will be back!
