I was worried originally as I had read the reviews and they weren’t great. I literally couldn’t fault out stay. We were able to check in 4 hours early at no extra cost as they had the room available. The staff couldn’t have been any more helpful and couldn’t do enough for you. Room was lovely and as the location it was perfect. We were staying for one night to go to a show at the O2 and it was just the best location for the best value, will definitely be recommending and returning! Thank you!

The window was a bit dodgey and did fall open after a screw falling out but we were just grateful for the air as the room was pretty hot but fine once we opened a window

The location is beautiful, It is located on a canal and the lobby bar overlooks that. Thames and canary wharf dock is 5 minutes walk from the hotel. The restaurant buffet with roast turkey n stuff is to die for. The hotel has an expansive lobby with a piano for guests to play on. The bar and pizzeria are fabulous. The staff helpful and smart. The location lively and vibrant. The bathroom is spacious with great tub and shower. The room itself is spacious with all the amenities. Room cleaning service is great. There is a tesco nearby and bus stop across. Canary wharf tube is 5 minutes pleasant walk by the canal and so also dlr. Hotel Britannia is the best deal in London. Great value.

nothing really. just a perfect hotel

The room was very big which is something I love most. The room was amazing with everything in it. Best hotel room . However, that was the biggest hotel room I have ever come across

The only thing I didn’t like was the fact that a very luxurious hotel without internet in the rooms . That is so poor and doesn’t fit the standard of that hotel. It will be preferable if you include the internet in the room price without telling the customers . I felt very disappointed and annoyed because I couldn’t do my assignment. You guys should put internet facilities in the rooms so that it will matched with the hotel standards. I do really love the hotel , the rooms the location which was definitely amazing and lovely but the internet aspects not in the rooms spoiled everything. I hope the director and his teams will do something about internet in the rooms. I will have given 9.5 /10 concerning the hotel but because of the internet not in the rooms I will give 6.8/10.

Perfect location within walking distance to dlr and tube station plus mainly other places Room with amazing view of canal clean and tidy To us breakfast was a bit steep in price so we didn’t try it

Being felt like we had to rush to leave by the cleaning staff. I understand you need to clean and get it ready for the next people. When I woke up at half 8 I could hear people in the corridor didn’t think much of it(Discovered it was cleaning team), we then left to go investigate what the breakfast options were, when we come back up cleaning team was still outside our door when we finally left to check out they asked us are you finished can we go inside. So cleaning team was standing outside our hotel door from half 8am till we finally left at 10am ONLY BAD THING !!

I've stayed here 4 times now, and its fantastic value for money. The staff are great and the rooms I've stayed in are big, comfortable, have a kettle, tea, coffee, and milk. There are toiletries and a hairdryer in every room. It's about a 10-minute walk from the DLR and underground. The food was even better value. There is a large restaurant that has a buffet service. When I checked in, I bought breakfast and an evening meal for less than £30. The evening meal included a glass of house wine or a soft drink. Exceptional value for London.

There's usually a queue at check-in, so maybe they could do an online or express check-in process.

The hotel is in the heart of Canary Wharf and offers fantastic value for money. It's about a 10-minute walk from the underground stations. The Jubilee and Elizabeth lines and DLR can be accessed here. The room had a hospitality tray, air conditioning, and hairdryer, and the bathroom had all the toiletries you need if you're travelling light. Meals weren't included with the room, but you can buy vouchers for the restaurant when you check in. I bought breakfast and evening meal vouchers, together, for less than £30 and the food was lovely. It's all buffet style, so you could have as much or as little as you want. The food was great and I enjoyed everything I had. Room service is also available, and that was very cheap, too (see pics of menu). WiFi wasn't included in my room price, but you can pay at reception for it, at £7 a device for 24 hours.

Nothing not to like. I've already booked to stay again.

We booked it after the first hotel was a flop. I panicked and booked this in replacement. It was only after we had booked it, did we look at the reviews. Some very very harsh. We couldn't fault it, staff very good. Food very good. Room was very nice. Maybe a little dated but for the price 10/10. Will be going back there next year. Let's not forget where the hotel is. Excellent value for money. I can only obviously talk about our room which was on the 5 floor. But spoke to others and we all said very similar. 👍😀

To be honest only the lifts. Lol 1 out of 3 wasn't working. So was nearly always waiting. But come on am being really picky. 😆

The Britannia Hotel London staff at the check in desk are very courteous, professional and considerate. We were allowed early check in because our son was in a London hospital and we traveled from the United States to see him. The two staff members at the front desk were very understanding about our situation and upgraded our room. We had an extremely comfortable and convenient room, nice hot water kettle and a great view of the Canary Wharf area. Main level has a great waiting area.

We liked everything. While others commented on the age of the hotel, we found it added to its charm. It is a very grand and classic accommodation.

Impressive Hotel, bit dated by today's standards but that's part of the charm. Large rooms and nice large open bar/lounge area near reception. Also to be in the heart of canary wharf at these prices is incredible value. Its a pleasant 5-8 minute walk to the Jubilee line and the DLR, but there's enough in the immediate area in terms of bars places to eat and shopping. The staff on reception and the bar area were super nice and friendly. Couldn't ask for more when spending a few days in London shopping and exploring. Will def book again next time I'm in London.

nothing really, room was a bit warm but there was that Oct heat wave and there was a fan in the room anyway. I didn't see the dated aspect as a negative

Great location , had everything you need while away from home. Bar staff very pleasant. Pizza was glorious and staff also nice. Once out of the downstairs area, soon as you get into the lift , after that the place is dated and seriously needs a face lift. My single bed was awful, but mates double was fine

2 reception staff were plain rude to a client who had an issue , this could have been sorted a little more discreetly saving some embarrassment . This kind of embroiled all the staff in the end and checking in took ages. When I finally took my turn to check in it was plain to see that the staff member was still in a mood , not pleasant at all, shame.
