The location was amazing the view over the river Wow. The bed was comfortable and the espresso Marini mwa

The fact you had to request tea and coffee making facilities in the rooms !!! We didn't realise till we got back to the room late having rushed in and dropped the bag to go to the 02. So no tea and coffee for the morning when we woke . Also the green emergency light shon on the mirror keeping me awake, I had to turn off the air conditioning as it was noisy and that meant the room was warm so not the the best night really

Uniqe hotell experience, overall very positive. We liked how we were treated by hotell staff and that staff vas very helpfull and professional. Room was great.

-We ordered room for 3 (2+1) and in the standard was only one bed (weird) we needed to ask for exra one for our daughter 11yo. -Hotell is not really family or children friendly. You get info that You can use swimming pool with no restrictions...but when You're comming it cames out that children under 16 are not allowed to go inside besides 2h during the day and they ar not allowed to go into the warm water with bobbles. Further more from that 2h in the swimming pool half of it was not quite usefull because of the aqua aerobic group that was so loud that we couldn't stay the whole 2h inside. Not nice for that price. I recommend to create quite zones intead treating children like this. Our daugher had birthday that day and it was not what we were expecting.

The room size was very big compared to the other hotel's for the same price. The location was good as it was close to transportation hubs and also the shopping area of canary wharf

The room itself isn't as modern as I would like or expect. Some wear and tear can be seen in the room such as peeling wall paper and aircon rattling. No room service was mentioned or menu in the room which I would expect. Unless they weren't offering the service (due to covid reason one could assume)

The hotel is in a great location for business connections in Canary Wharf and the City. Great views of the river and City. You have use of the attached Virgin Active gym and indoor swimming pool.

It's sold as a 5 star hotel with 5 star prices. The decor and furniture are a little 'tired'. The kettle when we arrived did not work (you would think that would be checked in an any star hotel, let alone 5 star). Which was replaced and a complimentary fruit plate and water were delivered to the room which was a nice touch. We were also upgraded to an Executive Suite when the management found out about the decor in our room. There needs to be an overhaul of the rooms and decor for the cost to be justified.

I need to call out the fantastic service from Ajay and Samarth who managed to get us a room after being horrendously let down by booking.com. They were real saviours as this weekend was a really special get together to celebrate my upcoming retirement. Please do call them out for going above and beyond, I really appreciated them stepping in and helping. Kind regards Phillippa Smerdon

The only downside was breakfast service, it didnt appear to be fully staffed and food was slow being served.

The hotel is very centrally located close to the restaurants and shops of Canary Wharf, as well as the Elizabeth Line and the DLR. Breakfast was included with my room which I enjoyed. The full English Breakfast, smoked salmon and scrambled eggs were delicious. The concierge was very helpful and assisted me with my taxi booking and luggage when I checked out.

I was very pleasantly surprised that breakfast was included in my stay this time as it wasn't included the previous stay even though I paid the same price. I think the situation should be clarified when the booking is made on the website.

Beautiful, clean rooms. fantastic staff - nothing was too much bother! Breakfast, despite being expensive was absolutely delicious! But add on’s of toast etc made breakfast for me, hubby and our 11 year old a rather extortionate £100! for BREAKFAST! Lovely and quiet (apparently C.W hasn’t recovered since covid so a LOT of shops/cafes etc are only open Tues/Weds/Thurs. The area is stunning reminds me a lot of Boston. Would deffo stay again but you need to be prepared to spend because London prices are worse than ever!

Tea and coffee making facilities have to be requested - I had a bit of a freak out as this room seemed to have everything BUT tea and coffee facilities. They were brought up to the room but I hate having to ask! Even a travel lodge it comes as standard 🤷🏻‍♀️

Staff are excellent and so friendly. Rooms spacious and clean.

The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was amazing. The swimming pool was also fantastic.

Would have been nice to have tea and coffee making facilities in the room and maybe a few complimentary biscuits. The breakfast was good but it wasn't clear with some of the options whether they were self-service or order from the waiter. For example there was a nice-sounding yoghurt option but the waiter told me that that was a self-service option even though there were not in fact any fresh strawberries at the self-service buffet.

We stayed here before in Nov 21. When we arrived, staff could not find my booking, but sorted everything whilst we had an ice cold prosecco. They upgraded our room due to the wait of finding our booking to a Thames side room. We stayed Canary Wharf side last time which was amazing, but the view of the river at night was unreal! Facilities amazing, shower huge, towels the best and bed the most comfy. Thanks for another great stay, we will be back later in the year.
