The staff were great, breakfast lovely and the ferry to canary wharf made it so much better. We'd booked for August with the kids too and we were going to cancel due to the distance to the centre however once staff informed us of the uber into the centre it added to the trip. Checkout at 12pm is great too.

Only part I didn't like was being woken at 11am (went back for a nap after breakfast) by knocking at the door, asking if we were checking out that day. We were, but checkout was 12pm so not sure why we had to be disturbed to ask.

I loved the ferry option which made going to Canary Wharf so accessible.

There was no minibar / fridge in the room. There was no water and my spouse was dehydrated and very faint. I quickly had to run downstairs and the only water available was at the restaurant which cost £5! I probably won’t come back to the hotel for this very reason. Is there any reason why there isn’t a fridge in rooms??

well, where do i start - looked like a lodge from the outside... 1) a card key 2) really quiet... 3) humungous tv 4) the balcony view 5) a bath as well as a shower 6) the complementary toiletries crabtree & evelyn 7) big wardrobe 8) there's a reason that great hotels are on the wrong side on the river - the view from my balcony was directly opposite the shining light of hsbc tower 9) the complementary ferry - to canary wharf...wow... 10) the curtains; desk; power points 11) the free cookies 12) best sleep in a hotel, ever, bar none...even the hilton in kensington 13) the captain and crew on the ferry 14) freedom of a key card - come and go as u please 15) staff were so helpful, and made a house a home for the duration 16) surrey quays is only one stop away from the ferry point at canary wharf 17) the lifts...and the music 18) the sand when the tide went out

1) "housekeeping"...so the tapping on an adjacent room woke me 2) the tv was on a relay - so different channels to what i am used to 3) bob the builder turned up on the first wake-up 4) a nightmare to get to...two buses...when surrey docks farm is closed, navigating the thames path is a work of art... 5) the stormy weather

Comfortable room with a view of the river. Good quality tasty food. The hotel had arranged boats to Greenwich Park for marathon runners, which was fantastic and far less stressful than busy trains. There was a Saturday buffet especially for marathon runners. It would have been possible to cancel the booking a few days before the stay, whereas some other hotels had insisted on non-refundable payments made months in advance

It is a long walk from the nearest train station. Buses were not an option on Marathon day Some checkin staff were not well informed and gave the wrong time for the Marathon buffet The hotel was expensive for the Marathon weekend, perhaps chepaer other times.

Beautiful, quiet and comfortable hotel, with a special location on the banks of the Thamesmand beautiful view. Spacious and well equipped room. We were very pleased with the free use of the ferry for guests, which at any time can take you to the other side of the river, where there are different places of leisure and food, and this makes the hotel unique. There is a bus stop next to the hotel. We liked the interior of the room, very clean linen, large and comfortable beds. The hotel restaurant offers a wide range of delicious and unlimited food. Most of the staff is very friendly and ready to help. It is possible to leave suitcases in the storage room before check-in or after check-out.

Drainage permeability in the toilet bowl is slightly limited. No coffee machine in the room The air conditioning could be better From the WiFi connecting page it was not clear whether it was necessary to pay for WiFI Internet, so I used my international SIM

Breakfast selection was amazing. Something for everyone. Hotel staff were fantastic , nothing was a bother . The free boat across the water to canary wharf was great the kids loved it.

The disabled toilets at the restaurant could be higher , also have a grab rail on each side. My daughter is disabled and can't weight bare and found it difficult to transfer without a grab rail on the other side also the toilet was too low for a disabled person who can't put theor feet down . Our room wasnt accessible as it was the only room we could all fit in as a family of 5, But once I told staff our problem they were more than accommodating and let my daughter use a accessible room that wasn't rented out , so she could wash and change every morning and evening and that made our stay so much more relaxing . So thank you to the check in staff

The view was fantastic, I could not stop looking at the view from the window or the balcony. We were given a balcony room without even asking for one. The breakfast is very impressive, traditional full English, cereals, fruits, pastries etc. Even though we were well away from the main tourist area, the hotel ferry and uber boats were very reliable and easy to use, probably even faster than a taxi. The room was very reasonably priced for London

For the price it would be unfair to complain about a few cosmetic details of the room, which had absolutely no impact on the break.

It looked out onto The Thames and Canary Wharf and was fairly easy to get to. We got a tube to Rotherhithe then a C10 bus to hotel initially but used the complimentary ferry service once we got to the hotel which was an added bonus. The staff were really helpful and all lovely. Our room was spotless and beds very comfortable. The breakfast was excellent, something for all tastes and staff all very efficient and happy to help. We will be returning again. This hotel is a hidden gem!

I was a bit nervous about negotiating transport to get there from Waterloo station but I managed it and the hotel website indicated that the bus stopped right outside the property which was correct. I was with my daughter and we were able to use a London Underground travel card on the bus as well as the train.

The room was lovely and spacious. The breakfast that was included in the stay was amazing! It has everything you can think of. Everything was freshly prepared and even though the hotel was fully booked, the staff still managed to cater for everyone and make sure everyone was well looked after and got a table at breakfast. The free ferry to cross the river was very handy which enabled quick access to Canary Wharf and the rest of the city.

The AC didn't work in the room and would only push out hot air but the staff were happy to loan me a couple of fans. Not ideal when its 26 degrees outside!

We were visiting family who stay in the docklands so this hotel although across the river was a good location for us. The added bonus being the free ferry across to Canary Wharf. Lovely outside terrace overlooking Canary Wharf and nice inside bar area / restaurant. Cannot comment on food as we were visiting family and eat with them on our short stay

Nothing. Only thing to mention was that we were informed on arrival that we were in room 485 fourth floor and to utilise lift 7. However notice on lift board had no mention of our room number on any of the floors. We did however find our room on the 4th floor as stated
