The arches infront of room 703 block any view of Leicester Sq...but the staff immediately offered to change my room. I said since I had a long journey with my friend and we had unpacked we would just keep it anyway. I said some compensation would be nice and they offered to take our first drinks order off the bill; nice touch.

Well, the fact that the reception staff where quite unaware that the arches block the view of one of the most famous squares in London. I travel at lot and normally at the rate of 450 GBP I would ask to see the room; this time I did not because it was a long trip and I just wanted a shower. But that's about it...the room was fine.

The pillows were super comfortable and wish I could take them home with me. Central and walking distance to everything. Catching public transport also easy. Restaurants and theatres in easy distance to the hotel. Great place to stay.

Friendly staff. Excellent location on Leicester Square steps from the TCKTS box office, theatres. The Lego Store, the M&M store,etc. Extremely responsive Concierge, Daniel made booking transportation and entertainment easy and enjoyable. The staff accommodated my family with 3 young sons so well, including the wait staff at the restaurant who were able to suggest modifications to the a la carte menu to make it more palatable for children. The rooms were spacious, clean, and beautifully furnished, and the beds were very comfortable. The breakfast was very nice as well. They had a baby cot and the pull out sofa comfortably made up and attended to each day.

Occasionally, the buskers and other street performers could be loud for a bit but such that you could hear it in your room but it usually ended at a fair hour.

What truly made our stay memorable was the exceptional service provided by the hotel staff. From the front desk to the housekeeping team, everyone was incredibly friendly, professional, and attentive. They went above and beyond to ensure our needs were met, offering helpful suggestions for nearby attractions and restaurants. The hotel’s location in Leicester Square was absolutely fantastic. It was within walking distance of major theaters, entertainment venues, and popular tourist spots. The convenience of being centrally located made it easy to explore the city and experience the vibrant energy of London.

The door to the bathroom was transparent - using the loo in the middle of night meant that the bedroom became very light. An easy problem to solve, if only the designer had more sense. The wardrobe door did not fit properly, so the internal light was on all night. Not great. There was a strange noise going on from 2m to about 6am - almost a bass beat, very very quiet, from the fabric of the building (not from outside, as the triple glazing was good sound proofing). In the quiet of the middle of the night, it was audible to me. I have no idea what it was. I had though breakfast was included - but then found that it was another £21 each. At £500 per night, I expected pretty close to perfection - it was not.

on the last night, upon collecting our luggage (which was being held for us after checking out) there were a group of boys/men kicking a football about (hard & at passers by) right at front of hotel - felt very unsafe! staff had previously assured us that they would assist with flagging a taxi for us to ensure we would get to Euston on time for our sleeper train - this didn’t happen, we were ushered out ( where the group were hanging about) with our luggage and told to go up the street and get one our selves. not a problem any other time but quite unnerving with all our luggage, had we known this would have been the requirement we would have planned our last night differently.

LOCATION WAS SO AMAZING. BUSY AND FOOT TRAFFIC ONLY. Felt very safe. Easy to walk to all major attractions. Easy to catch tube/subway. Many restaurants within the vicinity. Easy to find gluten free food within footsteps of the hotel. Soundproof rooms. Not a single noise from the hallway, elevators or outside. Wonderfully soundproof rooms. Large, spacious rooms. Perfect for family of four.

The carpets in the room weren’t the most clean. Looks like they need a good steam clean in my opinion. The rest of the room was very clean and tidy. Very spacious.

The Radisson blu Hampshire could not be located any better for a short stay in London especially if your there for a show being 5-10 minutes walk from most theatres, there is also a plentiful amount of places to eat from Italian restaurants to the a large number of eateries in Chinatown plus your normal fast food restaurants. the standard of care given by the staff was perfect with the room kept clean by housekeeping to a really high standard plus a welcoming bottle of bubbly in the room on arrival.

The only two things I can fault the Radisson blu Hampshire for are 1. fact that the rooms are looking a bit dated and could do with a TLC to fix things such as cracked tiles in the bathroom and to repair the bed frame which was broken and both myself and my wife caught our legs on the piece of wood sticking out whilst walking around the bed and 2. considering all the good and bad points I would say this hotel is a little pricey even for central London.

Reception as skilled and welcoming as last time. immediate response to us finding the bathroom had been used for smoking. Given similar room nearby. Breakfast team are wonderful, skilled in all the professional hospitality tricks, genuinely acting the perfect host. Breakfast itself is a model for others to aspire towards. All staff instantly responsive and helpful, great job. Ideal for everything, hotel being in Leicester Square.

I prefer more caffeine in the coffee pods. Only weak and decaf in our collection. Bought super strength pods at only £3.50 or so for 10 in local shop .
