Too much noise in Leicester square. all the noise is heard in the rooms.

Great location right at the centre of Soho with everything (restaurants, clubs, bars, pubs, theatres) in walking distance. Very friendly staff. Clean, comfortable room.

Be aware that the hotel is right at Leicester Square. If your room faces the Square, it will be noisy from street musicians and the crowd. Though the windows are well sound-proofed, the musicians' beats and loud (drunk) tourists will be heard. If you go to bed by 10 pm, it's the wrong place. If by 2 am, it's perfect. 🤣

The staff is what give this hotel top scores! Friendly, helpful and concerned for any requests. Fabulous location for walking around London, restaurants aplenty close by, and close to the West End if theater is on your radar. Very comfortable room- not huge but certainly bigger than most european hotel rooms and what one really needs is a comfortable bed which is what is in the room. Nice, big fluffy pristine towels are an added plus as are the comfy sheets. A closet would be nice instead of a hanging brass bellhop style bar but there is a refrigerator to use for drinks and small food needs so I forgot about not having a closet quickly and the TV is huge for a hotel room! There is security in the lobby every night and it has a feeling of a safe place to stay. Overall I will be happy to return and I felt like they made every effort to be welcoming and kind throughout my stay which was the fourth time I stayed at Victory House.

The shower door didn't close well, but considering there was a door in the land of no shower curtains or tubs with half a glass wall where water ends up all over after taking a shower, that is a plus/minus comment. I think I'll start traveling with a shower curtain.

Me again...another great stay at The Victory House! The staff is most friendly and ready to help in any way possible. Be it directions, ideas or just offer a warm greeting to welcome you throughout your stay. It's a perfect location for touring around London, a night or two out in the West End for pubs or the theaters and a quick 2 minute walk to the Tube station. Restaurants are but a few minutes away, China Town is 1 minute walk and there are plenty of shopping stops in Leicester Square or Covent Garden. The hotel is nice and quiet, the room has everything you'll need but space to lay 2 large suitcases probably won't happen unless you are creative. Blackout curtains are ready to darken the room and keep it that way until you decide to greet the day! It's a great place to stay and I'll be happy to return again soon!

Everything! The location was just brilliant - right on Leicester Square with great views across London but none of the noise! The room was quirky, stylish and just fab - room 608 - was amazing! The room had everything you could need and was spotlessly clean. Tea/coffee was available along with a safe and a small fridge. The views from the room on the 6th floor were great - you could see all across London. The staff were very friendly and approachable. To top it off the price was very reasonable for the location and room comfort. A great place to stay and we can't wait to return.

The location is perfect, we would definitely stay there again. We arrived early and was told the room was ready (yeah!) and for £50 we could go in now! Needless to say we left the luggage and headed out. Other than that, great size room, nicely appointed, perfect location and wouldn't hesitate to book again.

Early check in charge and a small query to the front desk that seemed a little too much trouble to sort out, we were staying two nights and one night was paid for by someone else and we wanted to stay in the same room for 2 nights. When we asked upon check in, it wasn't a question to be answered, however when we arrived back later to freshen up it was a breeze and no problem, just had to renew the key cards though the next day, which was a pain in the ass, but nothing major! (just a pain as we had gone up in the lift to get the door to find out that it wasn't working, then back down blah blah).

Although no view but I didn’t really care as it was just for one night and I preferred a quiet room. Front one overlooking Leicester Square might be quite noisy during the night. Bedroom had a nice design and was clean, tidy, large enough for two and large comfortable double bed. (At least 180-200, hard mattress, good for back pain) Shower room was clean and large. Loved the shower gel from The White Company London. Staff was extremely kind and helpful, always smiling and very welcoming. Location is best as few minutes walk to Piccadilly, large selection of musicals and cinemas, close to Leicester Square metro station (Northern line), 10min walk to Elizabeth Line or 5min to Piccadilly line (Heathrow airport both), in Soho (Chinatown) area)

Great location, quite difficult to locate mind you, as I had to ask a nightclub bouncer for a whereabouts! We checked in around 1am as we had a cancelled flight fiasco. Upon arrival, I had mentioned to the man on reception could we lay on for a little bit ,as it was so late and we wouldn't be in the room that long ,after paying £243. His reply was, its £80/per hour after 11am checkout, if we wanted to stay which is EXTORTIONATE. As we were closing our room door our phone started to ring ,it was 11.03am . Upon checking out with a male member of staff, there was a woman behind the desk actually on the phone to another hotel guest telling him , checkout is 11 am sharp and it's £80 per hour there after and she was being quite direct and blunt. The guest on the phone obviously wasn't ready and she just said it's £80 now, to midday checkout. That conversation should've been done either away from the front desk in private ,or face to face. I felt the embarrassment for whoever that was on the other end of the phone . I've stayed in some amount of hotels around the world and I've NEVER EVER had anyone call my room bang on 11am , 15 mins grace always .

Perfect location at a walking distance from all theaters, restaurants, Chinatown, Piccadilly Circus, SOHO etc). you can easily go out in the evening with no need for transportation. The room was clean, well designed and convenient. We very liked the tea/coffee/water/cookies that were renewed every day in the room. Bathroom was also very nice.

Our room turned towards Leicester square - we definitely liked it, as it contributed to the overall atmosphere. However, if you are sensitive to noises you might want to ask for a back turning room, as the lively sounds from square can be heard.

I had an amazing stay at Victoria House Hotel in the heart of London. The employees were incredibly lovely and helpful, making my stay even more enjoyable. What impressed me the most was the peace and quiet inside my room, despite the hotel's prime location in the bustling center of London. It's a rare gem where you can escape the city's hustle and bustle while being right in the midst of it all. I highly recommend Victoria House Hotel for both its fantastic staff and its serene atmosphere. I can't wait to return!
