Great location, local restaurants/cafes are everywhere. 2 tube lines within 5mins walk, (Goodge & Tottenham Crt) which makes getting around the city so much easier. Direct tube from Tottenham to Heathrow was convenient. Our room was second floor facing the road, Being a light sleeper, I was worried about the noise as during the day there was hustle & bustle like any European city. I had nothing to worry about as it was so quiet! No noise from other rooms either. Lovely comfortable beds & nice towels too. Staff are so friendly and helpful. I will stay here on my next visit & highly recommend to others. Thanks and all the best to you Martina!

The room was spacious for a London hotel room, even had two windows! The bed was bigger than a double and was definitely comfortable. Considering the prime location and the number of bars, pubs, and restaurants nearby, it was super quiet. The shower was really powerful which was great. The staff were my favorite part of the hotel, they were very friendly, from Jakub in reservations to the reception staff, they were all welcoming, and kind. Unfortunately, I became very ill on our last day and couldn't possibly check out on time, but the staff kindly called to check on me after the paramedics left and allowed us to have a very late check out which made a huge difference.

Be sure to have the card you paid with on you, as I couldn't check in before my husband arrived. That would have been a much bigger issue if he was coming much later. This shouldn't really reflect badly on the hotel, but it seems to be a new system requirement. The room although very pleasant, seemed slightly tired and in need of a refresh. The same goes for the bathroom. But not in a way to stop me from staying there again, on the contrary, my husband and I will definitely be sticking with The Rathbone for any future romantic getaways.

The hotel is located in a very convenient, quiet location. There are many pubs and restaurants nearby. Close to Oxford Street, Soho... The highlight of the hotel is its staff. The people who work at the reception are in their place (we especially want to thank Martina and Vahi - we and our children felt your care during our stay and you made our stay at the hotel even better than we could have expected!) The room had a kettle, tea, coffee, biscuits and bottled water daily. Clean in the rooms and throughout the hotel. There is a lift. The interior is beautiful.

The beds were comfortable, but could be a little wider. Breakfasts at the hotel are not varied and the choice of food is quite small - but everything is delicious.

Despite our early arrival, we were greeted with an incredibly warm welcome that truly set the tone for our experience. The delightful gesture of complimentary tea and delectable croissants immediately made us feel at home. The reception staff went above and beyond, pleasantly surprising us with an unexpected early check-in and even allowing a convenient baggage drop-off post-checkout. Their hospitality and flexibility made our stay all the more enjoyable and memorable.

I'd like to offer a minor suggestion for improvement during our stay. It appears that the room ventilation could be enhanced slightly. Following sleep or showers, we noticed that the humidity tended to linger for a relatively extended period. This, however, did not significantly impact the overall positive experience we had during our time at your establishment.

Fabulous location. Very warm and friendly staff - exceedingly helpful. Thoroughly enjoyed staying here

Our suite room didn’t have an AC in the actual bedroom but only in the sitting area. The staff did give us a portable AC for the bedroom later

I was in England from May 18 - June 1. I stayed at The Rathbone while I was in London which was May 18 - May 21 and from May 29 - June 1. The hotel was fantastic. The staff were universally cordial and very friendly. My room both times was unusually large by London standards and very comfortable. The hotel offers a continental breakfast for an additional fee. The breakfast consisted of a nice range of fruit, cereals, meat, cheese, yogurt, cereal, bread, jam breakfast pastries and mini quiches. Coffee, tea and juice was also available. For me the hotel was centrally located centrally but not on a main street. It is a very nice neighborhood. It is in very short walkiing distance to the Tottenham Court and Goodge Street Underground stations. Frederico hosted the breakfast and he was particularly nice. All in all I highly recommend the The Rathbone.

My fiancee and I had such a lovely stay for my birthday weekend. We were greeted by absolutey lovely reception staff upon arrival who checked us in quickly and informed us that we had been given a free room upgrade (which was a great surprise). When I told her it was my birthday she offered us a free glass of bubbles which we sadly couldn't accept as we were off out to dinner straight away, but when we came back the hotel, the staff had all signed a happy birthday card and left a small bottle of bubbles and some ferrero rochers. The room itself was absolutely SPOTLESS. I don't think there was a speck of dust anywhere and we were genuinely wondering if it had been newly refurbished. We thought the location was fantastic We were seeing the new Harry Potter show and doing some shopping, and the hotel was in the perfect location to walk to shops and the theatre, and also had a huge range of cafes and restaurants within a short walking distance too. It was also a short 5-10 minute walk to the nearest tube stations for when we wanted to explore further afield. I would definitely recommend this hotel. It's a little pricey but the money was well worth it for being treated like royalty throughout our stay.

It wasn't a problem for us but you could hear people from the local pub from our room. If you're a light sleeper then ear plugs may be needed. We were also woken by the fire alarm at 8:45am and rushed out the fire escape in our hotel robes. The hotel staff were very apologetic and offered us a complimentary coffee as an apology.

We booked one of the suites and they room was a good size and had a bedroom and living area which was nice that they were separate. Location was amazing with plenty of restaurants, supermarket and all you need, plus a walk away from anything you want to do in London. The staff was also amazing and really made us feel like being at home, away from home .

One really critical factor is that the room was very noisy, the windows are not of the quality expected for this standard of hotel and do not seal off the noise and sounds from the outdoors, some of the curtains do not help either as some still let in some light, unfortunately in the bedroom area. This does not help that the area is full of bars, pubs and restaurants therefore the noise is all night into early morning and the glass collection is also very loud. I am however sure that these are quick fixes that the hotel can take upon themselves to improve and make up to improve the quality of its guests stays.

I would 100% recommend this hotel. The staff were the most friendliest I’ve ever had the pleasure to meet at a hotel stay. They kindly gave my daughter a balloon sweets & a beautiful handwritten birthday card for her 16th which she’ll treasure forever-Such a kind & thoughtful thing to do. The room was a generous size & the bathroom was fabulous. Best hotel pillows I’ve slept on & the blackout curtains really helped give me the perfect nights sleep. Fantastic location to Oxford street/regent street & Soho for shopping. Tube Tottenham court road or Goodge Street literally around the corner to reach Covent Garden, the strand Trafalgar Square, if you didn’t fancy walking. Hyde park is at the end of Oxford street so all within walking distance. When we needed the taxi the reception staff arranged and we’re happy to do so. I cannot recommend this beautiful boutique hotel highly enough.

Room service from hotel not available but, could use local restaurants which didn’t appeal.
