Really friendly staff. Great location and good food.

We booked a deluxe bedroom. The room had lots of cobwebs, which is okay, I suppose, as the hotel is in the countryside. Be nicer if the webs were not there. The big problem was the rickety bed. It looked great, but the least movement caused very loud creaking noises. You felt as though it was about to collapse at any minute. I'm not sure the bedroom was so deluxe because of this. I would not have liked to stay another night due to the state of the bed. These two things took the shine off what otherwise would have been a very nice room.

The hosts and the wonderful welcome were fab! The location was really good and right next to the lovely brook running past at the rear. The breakfast was amazing, the tea and coffee facilities with added extras in the lovely room were a welcome extra touch! The bed was comfy and the bathroom was a good size. The room decor is really tasteful and well thought out. Overall it was a relaxing few days in a lovely atmosphere with friendly hosts who were happy to help in any way. Would highly recommend a stay here! Hope to return again another time.

We stayed a couple of nights at the Ribchester Arms. As soon as we walked in, we were made to feel very welcome and valued guests. The room was stunning! Beautifully decorated, spacious and lots of lovely additions including towelling robes, fresh milk, fresh orange, sweets, teas and coffees and lovely toiletries. . The breakfasts were delicious and we had an evening meal which was really good. We have stayed in many hotels and both said this was our favourite. The reason it is outstanding is the staff! They are so friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. We will definitely return!!

It was easy to find, well located and wonderfully welcoming. The room was cosy and warm with great facilities, including a very well stocked hot drinks station and a fridge with water and juice . The breakfast was fabulous and we stayed for an evening meal that was delicious.

Nothing- the property was fabulous. The only thing that stopped me giving this 10 was the soundproofing between room 2 and 3 was not good so the awful snoring of the person next door stopped me sleeping. It would benefit from moving the headboard in one of the room.

Unfortunately due to the building no lift was available for my husband who uses oxygen. Staff did their best to help. Found the lighting/decor in the bedroom rather dark. (left my spare car keys as I didn't see them on the dark woodwork. Again, staff ensured that they were sent to me. Spilt shower gel was still in the shower tray the next day. Cooked breakfast was good but continental was lacking in choice eg no yogurt.

There is nothing to dislike, the room was spacious well laid out. all the facilities were superb. We thought there was no tv until we realised that the picture on the wall was actually the Tv and changed once you turned on the remote. The four poster bed was so comfy. I can’t give this property enough praise and we have stayed in many such properties around England. I may be biased as to my Lancastrian background but wow we will be back later this year

Continental breakfast very disappointing consisting of an apple (straight from the fridge), 4 strawberries, 3sachets of jam and a cold (quite hard), croissant ☹️

Everything about this pub is superb , the accommodation is first class , spotlessly clean and added extras within the room . I only intended on staying for 1 night through working within the area , ended up staying 3 nights . The Staff are lovely and so polite and friendly , special thanks to Josh who looked after me on arrival and would go out of his way to help with anything , a great guy and cooks a lovely cuisine of food , food was exceptional and value for money all round staying at this great pub . Room was very dark and moody, but we loved the decor! Good selection of teas, coffee & biscuits, also kettle & fridge were very handy. Some of the shelves & light fittings were a bit dusty. Shower was very nice and some lovely touches with mirror lighting. Breakfast was excellent, cooked to order. We also ate in the restaurant on the 1st night which was also really good!

Would have liked extra pillows available.

We had a lovely room at the back so it was quiet. Dinner and breakfast were both very good and dietary requirements catered for. The staff were all very friendly and efficient and we enjoyed chatting to Johnny the proprietor during breakfast. We would stay again if ever in that area.

I had expected a super king bed but the extrlarge bed we had was smaller than our own.
