It was a lovely, quiet location with lovely views across the countryside. The room was comfortable and the bathroom spotless. We had a really warm welcome from Kevin, who was keen to help however he could, and gave us advice on where to go to eat, given we didn't get there until after 7. Breakfast options were varied but we opted for the full English (of course!) which was spot on, washed down with tea. If that's not your thing, there was fruit, cereal and toast making stuff available too and, if you have the capacity, you could have it all! We were only there for one night but, if we need somewhere to stay I that neck of the woods again, we will certainly go back. Thanks Kev. :)

I was looking for somewhere to be able to take my daughter for the night so she could concentrate on her revision before her GCSE mocks started away from the madness of our own home and close enough for our spa day at Eden Hall the next day. I wanted somewhere quiet, with plenty of space for her to spread out whilst allowing me to chill out with a book. Grange House ticked all the boxes that I needed ticking and it did so within a very reasonable budget. The room we had was ideal for this to happen. It was quiet with a view from the window that was gorgeous - allowing my daughter to take relaxing breaks occasionally. She spread out over the large double bed and got everything done that she needed to do with no distractions. The TV and drinks provided in the room were also ideal for taking a break - Strictly was watched from the very comfortable double bed before heading back to the next GCSE subject. The area is in extremely quiet - with no passing traffic or noise - which allowed for concentrating on the work that was being done. Even the owners and their dogs were hardly heard during our stay. The room was warm, comfortable and everything I hoped for with my weekend away plan and my daughter managed to do all her planned revision in good time. Breakfast was perfect and Kevin and Anne-Marie could not have been more helpful. There was cereal, fruit and a very lovely cooked breakfast on offer and the dining area was comfortable. We did share our table with the other guest there but it was more like a family table than a hotel style and it was rather lovely. Kevin's offered help was also extremely welcome when we both arrived and left as he helped carry our bags to and from our vehicle. My only piece of constructive feedback would be to maybe have a table or desk in the bedroom (a foldaway one would be perfect) for anyone wanting to work whilst they stay but this is more of a niggle than anything else as the bed worked perfectly well for revision.

Apart from the feedback for a small desk or table in the room - there is nothing I would post as a negative.

Perfect B&B for our needs. Excellent and friendly hosts, easy to communicate with, happy to ensure our stay fitted with our itinerary (attending a family wedding and happy to accommodate our early check-in), well-appointed and comfortable rooms with extensive breakfast offer including home-cooked full breakfast served at the time of our choosing. Great value and highly recommend.

Nothing not to like here!

Excellent choice and a good English breakfast. Nothing too much trouble for our host who provided a dairy free alternative for my wife. The view from the bedroom window was beautiful across the green field and the 'Ploughman Wood' was a short walk from the property and full of bluebells. Our host was a 'perfect host'and extremely welcoming and friendly.

The owners were so incredibly friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble, they even dropped us off at my grandsons house to save us getting a taxi. The breakfast was incredible, so much choice and anything we required they went out of their way to provide. They were thoughtful and considerate, carrying our cases to our room when we arrived and back down again when we left. The room was lovely, we couldn’t have asked for more. We will definitely return. Kevin and Anne-Marie were so lovely and welcoming. The room was comfy and perfect for what we needed. Liked the second bottle of water. Kevin offered to drive us to our wedding venue which was amazing and Anne-Marie was very kind to do so. Breakfast was top notch. And they have some cute pubs nearby - would recommend the Cross Keys.

This is a true gem of a B&B. Firstly, the hosts are lovely, very friendly and can't do enough to help. From carrying bags in/out to asking what we would like for breakfast and even how well done we would like our eggs and bacon. Breakfast was delicious with lots of options for us to choose from. Very dog friendly hosts and we were all made very welcome. Room had everything we needed, was a good size and very clean. Plus a comfortable bed! Green out the front of the property, on a dead end road so super quiet and ideal for taking the dog for her toilet breaks. We also had an early morning walk out to the woods which is a short walk away (recommended by the hosts) and it was lovely.

There was nothing to dislike.

The room was quiet, clean and well equipped, the property was in a very quiet, safe location. The owner was friendly and helpful - nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was superb - the best guest house breakfast we have EVER had. We'll definitely be back. Ten out of ten.

Sorry, can't think of anything we didn't like!

Absolutely stunning property, lovely & quiet too. The owners couldn’t do enough for us, we was attending a wedding & they even took us to the church. Bedroom was a fantastic size, extremely comfortable bed & extremely clean. Breakfast was also amazing, again the hosts thought of everything to ensure everything was available. Definitely would go back & recommend to anyone. Thank you for your hospitality, kind Regards Nicky & Matt x

Nothing to not like.

The location was superb, quiet, rural with lovely country views. The room was beautiful with a bay window looking on to fields. The bed was super comfy. Breakfast was generous with lots of choice and freshly cooked to order. Kevin was a really warm and welcoming host and made us feel relaxed from arrival to departure.

I give it 11 out of 10......there was absolutely nothing not to like!!
