We stayed here for two nights as we were in Nottingham for a wedding. The place itself was beautiful with a lovely outdoor area which was relaxing and peaceful. The food was delicious and fresh and our room was clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly, chatty and very helpful when it came to helping us organise a taxi. One member of the team, Jan, was extremely kind and helpful and helped to give us the best experience. Great place and we will definitely be back!

The only downside would be trying to get a taxi or an Uber but this is no reflection on the property. Just be aware and book in advance or plan your time.

lovely decor very clean and quiet in the rooms. The bed was very comfortable and everything we needed was in the room. Had a very luxurious feel to the room. We didn’t eat here as we were visiting family and ate with them but the bar/restaurant downstairs looked very inviting and cosy too.

we loved everything. The only thing I would say is that there were only stairs to get to the first floor (I didn’t see a lift so apologies if there was one but we missed it) and my 71 year old mum isn’t too good with stairs. Otherwise it was perfect!

Breakfast - was not included in our room rate, but staff offered us to have it and we paid what we felt was a very reasonable price for a well cooked/served breakfast with fruit juice & coffee/tea. From arrival to leaving ALL staff were friendly, polite & helpful - we will certainly rebook next time we visit the area.

Our room (9) had a window which was frosted so no views, but was double glazed and then additional secondary gazing on the inside to ensure the room was quiet.

A very well run establishment and a nice combination of a pub, small hotel and restaurant - appropriately called an Inn. Welcoming and comfortable and a good range of delicious food for dinner. Plenty of parking and a decent well-equipped bedroom providing a good night’s sleep. Hard working staff who clearly take much pride in providing good service.

We had nothing to complain about except that there was a lack of cereals or muesli at breakfast.

The quality of the cooked food at dinner and breakfast was excellent: freshly prepared and well presented. The restaurant and housekeeping staff were friendly and helpful. A large free car park.

By early evening the kitchen ran out of several items that we had ordered for dinner and breakfast orange juice was not replenished. The bed was comfortable although the pillows were hard

we staying the hotel for our friend wedding anniversary party. The room so clean and big space room. The bed is so comfortable. All staffs was so friendly and kind. very highly recommended. We trying get taxi Uber to the venue from hotel but the Uber is get long time. I asked the bar staff name Steve to help us to find a taxi. But Steve offers us to drop off the venue which it’s very kind and gentleman for him do for us. :)

We loved the friendly staff, they made us feel very welcome. We also enjoyed the rural location yet only a short drive to Nottingham. We come from rural New Zealand so enjoyed being out of the city. The dining was great with both indoor and outdoor options. Fantastic home-cooked meals . Room was very clean. Great stopover if you are wanting to avoid the city.

Not much to not like.

I felt very honoured to be the first to stay in my room 3 after it had been refurbished. The room was perfect for one with comfy single bed, great TV and superb ensuite facilities. Thank you

Breakfast was chosen off the menu....and therefore, no choice of cereals as well as hot full english. I also found it a little difficult to find this accommodation as the sat nav did not take me all the way and I was concerned that I had missed it.

Was a nice location tucked out of the way but still close enough to the city. The man that checked us in was very friendly and welcoming. Room was very nice and clean and the bed was massive and very comfortable.

Was fine for us for one night. However, if we were staying for a bit longer I think the size of the room may have been a little too small. Was more than sufficient for a couple for the night though.

Beautiful room in a great location at a good price. Comfy bed and managed to get a good night's sleep. Staff were fantastic and so helpful, even lent me a brolly for the day. Great breakfast to start the day...perfect
