The room was clean and well presented, with a comfortable bed, double glazed so was quiet, and a good sized shower room, although no bath. The evening meal was very good. It has a very large car park, so no issues with parking.

It would have been nice to be able to have breakfast there, but they don't do them. We were pointed to a garden centre down the road who do serve breakfasts, but from 9am, which was too late for us.

Superb little Pub / B&B, highly recommended, very friendly owners, great location. Room was clean and beds were comfortable, very nice room and ensuite and layout worked really well, Bed was comfy. Tea, coffee, kettle and TV as well. The staff and owners were amazing made you feel very welcome. Would definitely stay here again. And a lovely little patio area at the side and rear to sit and relax with the dog.

Check-in was accommodating, the room was of a good size and very comfortable. Parking was easy and plentiful. WiFi was very fast and good reception in the bedroom.

The TV was on the small size (24"?) and not really suited to the size of the room. The room was a bit noisy from the bar area below, however this was to be expected and didn't really go on after around 10:30/11PM. Option for breakfast would be nice as there isn't much else in the vicinity of where I was working.

Beautiful location conveniently located to the M6 and M40! The pub is lovely with a pool table, darts and lots of little sections which are great for some privacy if in a group.

As the building is so old the soundproofing isn’t great so you can hear noise from the pub until close but that is to be expected, just pack ear plugs!

Check in was easy, shown to the room and where the 2nd entrance door was in case main door in pub was closed for after hours.

No headboard on bed, so if you move and knock the wall behind I was conscious of neighbouring guests.

Clean and tidy. Staff were polite and friendly. Lots of free parking and handy for work. Really good shower with plenty of hot water.

It's a pub with rooms. But it was noisy until the pub shut!. WiFi was intermittent.

Great country pub, clean rooms with everything that was needed, great shower too. I ate at the pub, food and atmosphere was great. Family run with everyone focussed on their guests.

Nothing, it's an old country pub so the steps are quite steep, part of the charm for me but it might not suit everyone

there was no soap in the bathroom, told when leaving if you ask they supply. No breakfast served on premises it’s an inn not a hotel

Would love to have something that could be eaten for breakfast! A croissant or pastries etc. Was hungry when I left at 10 and nowhere to get anything nearby!
