The room was lovely, clean and inviting. The bed was comfortable. Although there was no shower in the room it was not a great issue as there was an en suite toilet. The staff were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable.

I think the food portions are a little mean for the prices. The Pork specifically I would not order again. It tasted lovely and was priced like a main course but it was barely a starter. breakfast could have had more then 1 rasher of bacon but it was still tasty. i would also not put the margarine on the hot plat but rather keep this separately.

Breakfast came in a twee wicker basket of which was full and adequate for me, cereal, croissant, fruit & flapjack.

I had made a request for extra pillows due to pregnancy at the time of booking (and was told they would be provided) and then asked again upon arrival because there weren’t any extras in the room. I was told they would be sent up but they weren’t. There was also no decaf coffee option for me. the room wasn’t ideal for early sleepers because it was right above the speaker in the bar so music could be clearly heard. but these are all small complaints that wouldn’t prevent me from visiting again.

We loved the room - it was spacious and very well appointed, with a luxurious jacuzzi bath and rainfall shower. It was plenty warm enough, with piles of fluffy towels, toiletries and quality cotton bedlinen. The mini fridge and hospitality tray with coffee pods were also appreciated! Parking was easy and secure, in a nice location, and overall we felt the room and venue offered good value for money.

We found the room wasn't one of the quietest we have stayed in - there seemed to be loud music coming from above, though it did quieten down at bedtime. We had to turn the TV up to drown it out a bit as it was rather intrusive. We also opted to eat elsewhere, as we couldn't find gluten free and vegan items on the menu. All in all these were minor niggles, and we would definitely stay again.

we stayed in room 8 , which has the head of the bed under the access staircase to upstairs, and unfortunately we could hear everyone going up and down , slamming the door closed as it was right at the bottom of the stairs. we were woken numerous times during the night as we could hear every noise from the room above including being woken first thing to the residents in the room above having sex! the bed and floor were creaking -we could hear every footstep and the bathroom fan .

Room fantastic, very clean and comfortable. Parking easy and location quiet but convenient. Easy check in and out. Breakfast box a great idea, convenient and sufficient - better than expected. In room spa bath fantastic and whole room very tidy and clean with good facilities. Hotel tidy and clean generally.

RAP music from room above at night and in morning not so good, too loud. Wooden cutlery not necessary in breakfast pack, normal metal spoons would have been better. Breakfast bowl too shallow. Coffee machine needed instructions and more pods. Cold water tap not working for spa bath in the evening but did in the morning.

The room was amazing, one of the bar staff/waitresses called 'Ocean' is an absolute credit to the hotel! Nice as you want and couldnt help enough. Polite and friendly to talk to aswell. We had a rough night sleep and arrived for breakfast late, its Wanstead an issue for either ocean or the chefs.

only downside was our room was above the kitchen and they had dance music playing till 10pm and then the banging started again at about 6am when breakfast started.

Room OK, stayed here last year and did ask if I could have a room with a shower that had a larger shower door, I am a large chap,and the one last year was just to small ,sliding door ,but was told they couldn't move me ,this was a few week's before hand ,but guess what ,I had the same room as last year so no shower again . I know price's have gone up but last year I paid £45. this year it was £70. I marshal at Mallory Park, minute's away and it was a two day meeting so that's why I stayed there .Close to the track but I think £70. was a bit high ,so will have have good look at price's at other places next year.

The room was exactly as pictured, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The restaurant was very busy so would recommend booking. Food was delicious. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Would definitely book again.

The whirlpool bath was very loud. I felt the restaurant food portions could have been a little bigger for the cost Got a lot of noise from the restaurant below until late.

it was quiet and peaceful, staff were lovely, well appointed room which made a change from the usual chain hotels, beds comfortable, windows opened wide (unlike many hotels) and food was amazing

the photo showed a garden with grass. There was just a courtyard . The rooms just had one bedside lamp and really need two reading lights.
