Convenient location as a festival we were attending was only down the road, clean and spacious rooms, very comfy bed, lovely pub next to the hotel and easy check in/check out. Managed to get the room ready way earlier than expected which was really handy!

Felt like staff could’ve been a bit friendlier and a bit more attentive but we thought this may have been due to them running the pub at the same time as the hotel so understood they were busy. Also feel as though it would be good if they had a mini fridge in the room as it was annoying having to drink warm water.

Excellent location, easy train ride into Manchester, easy drive to the Peak District, and having Sainsbury's right next to it was very convenient for us as we like to just have a light breakfast in our room. Spacious room with much better lighting than in many hotels. The room (22) was very quiet, despite being over the main entrance and next to the elevator (we never heard it). Plenty of parking spaces. Wi-fi was strong, once we'd managed to log in to it.

Only minor things:- - Logging on to the free wi-fi was a performance. - The TV reception was poor - picture kept breaking up. We watched on iPads instead. - The fan in the bathroom was ineffective at dispersing condensation. - The corridors of the hotel seemed exceptionally warm, but inside our room was fine.

It was very clean (spotless) quiet enough given the as it’s attached to a pub….and there was a convenient drinks Cabinet for late night snacks should you wish ( actual money needed though rather than contactless…but of a missed opportunity IMO) . We ate at the pub and the food was really good…there was a bonus of a singer too…altogether a very pleasant atmosphere here…thoroughly recommend it… There was a bonus room tidy which is unusual in our experience when staying for a few days…welcome nonetheless! A fan is actually provided but I brought my own anyway (and pillow…I am a bit fussy tbh) I loved the walk in shower and half glass door…I didn’t think it would stay dry enough but it did… very clever design. We were able to park on site no problem at all…

Some of the rooms over look the pub and the noise might bother some if they had the window open. The doors were hard to close and the bathroom door was really heavy and stiff to open because the door closer is set to the tensions of a mantrap (presumably because steam from the shower sets the alarms off) The room was very warm despite being no obvious heating source (save for a radiator which was off) high summer could be an issue

Very friendly accommodating staff, lovely and clean and comfortable. Met all our needs would definitely again if in the area. Good gluten free options on evening menu, and GF toast available at breakfast time.

As next to the pub was noisy with patrons outside, but this ceases once pub closes and we knew when we booked that in all likely hood this would be the case given the lodge is attached to a pub it’s fairly obvious this will generate noise till closing. So not really complaining just providing advice to others that if this is something that’s likely to bother you then either bring some ear plugs or don’t book here and then complain about it.

Bed was really comfortable. Room was large as was the private bathroom, with quite a large shower. Staff were very helpful and friendly, organised our taxi for an early arrival, we at airport of 4:30am. Gave great advice about the train from Manchester airport to wilmslow. Food at the pub in front, Coach and Four was adequate. All in all our 1 night was very pleasant and comfortable ready for an early flight to Italy.

Nothing really to complain about. Easy location to find, easy to get to Manchester airport, lovely little place to wander in. Music was maybe a bit too loud in the pub while having dinner, but all in all a great little spot to stay, would definitely stay again.

This was by far the most enjoyable experience I have ever had staying in a hotel, the staff constantly went above and beyond, rooms were immaculate, so so relaxing, never seen such a well run business, right from the front desk to bar staff, kitchen and help was always on hand without ever having to ask for it, felt spoilt 🫶 thank you so much for having me wonderful vibe and atmosphere, room was really quiet and comfortable and great atmosphere in the restaurant bar if I chose to be a part of, really accommodating and friendly. Thank you

Seemed too much hard work to get I to the free WiFi after countless attempts of setting up and account verifying my email then inputting passwords and usernames still could not get in, seemed to be on a loop and never managed to connect, but wasn't as issue as have tonnes of data and didn't need to watch the iplay or prime etc as these did not connect

The room was huge - evidently the sofa could be used as a second king sized bed, which we didn't need being only a couple. Clean and comfortable. Good location for an overnight stay prior to a flight from the airport the next morning. We had a drink in the attached pub, which was pleasant.

Despite the hotel being apparently under-occupied (there were only a few cars in the car park), we were put adjacent to another occupied room. Obviously not a problem normally, but the walls are paper thin (I don't think I've stayed anywhere with such thin walls before), so we could literally hear every word from next door's television (despite it not being on at excessive volume), and hence no chance of going to sleep until they went to sleep themselves. Likewise, every time next door turned a switch on or off, it was as if it were in our own room.

Lovely room with usb and plugs by bed . Good quality drinks and toiletries . Extra like a large room fan - weather was warm . Friendly helpful staff . Convenient location with shops nearby and Manchester airport a short taxi ride .

Could have done with a couple more pillows but in all fairness had we asked pretty sure they would have appeared. We asked for extra teabags and milk and nothing was too much trouble .

We just needed a bed for the night as we were going to a show nearby. The room was very spacious, with a very big comfortable bed. Good lighting, tea and coffee. The bathroom was a good size and towels were big and fluffy. Toiletries provided. Everywhere was spotless. We had a drink in the bar of the adjoining pub after the show. We didn't have breakfast so can't comment on that. Very pleased with our stay, would return. We were able to park for free in the car park.

The only slight problem was the fact that the mirror steamed up completely after a shower so couldn't be used. (There was another one in the bedroom.) I don't think there was an extractor fan.
