Our stay at Residence Inn by Marriott was just lovely. A perfect location in the the heart of Manchester - trendy Northern Quarter. So close to Piccadilly Central Train Station and easy walking distance to the main heart of the city. The hotel basically brand new and our room was spacious, with full amenities and the bed was so comfortable it provided a perfect nights sleep. The buffet breakfast included in our room cost was fabulous with a full selection to keep us going for a busy day. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended.

The room was absolutely amazing, we were given an upgrade to a suite which for relatively new parents having their first night off in a LONG TIME was so appreciated. Bed was super comfortable and facilities were amazing. Both check in and out were very prompt.

Breakfast itself was lovely however a bigger area is needed, it felt very cramped and often the food was running out quicker than it could be replenished. Perhaps table service could work better in this area? Or even set staggered timings.

The location is near attractions and within a short drive to the city center area and walking distance to the Piccadilly "park". The dining area was very good and modern. Patric did his best to co-locate our rooms near each other as much as possible. The rooms were very good, suitable for families and couples. Check-in and check-out were easy and quick and helpful staff.

There is some construction going on nearby which might cause some noise during the working days, but wasn't a big deal.

Even though the original price that I initially paid for a double room was good enough, I was offered a free upgrade to a studio which was awesome. Related to the hotel staffs they were polite and kind especially the reception staffs who were very friendly. The room was bigger than what I expected and it had everything from microwave to dishwasher to cooker. The room was clean and tidy and the hotel was overally good. I will definitely come back.

I cannot think of anything to complaint about.

Facilities were lovely! Very easy to access from the hotel.

The only issue was that breakfast wasn’t very organised. There was no real system I place. Drinks machines weren’t working properly, there was no plates or cutlery available so we had to ask and the food didn’t appear to be replenished even though more guests were coming down. A lady even advised guests that no more food would be coming out even though it was not the end of the advised breakfast times.

Great to have a kitchen in the room and a separate living area. The breakfast provided was very good including cereal and a cooked breakfast. Bed was very comfortable Everything was new - only been a few months old. Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again.

The fire alarm went off a couple of times in appropriately because of burnt toast in someone's room. They are talking to the fire department about fixing this.

Rooms where amazing: big, clean, nicely decorated. It had very comfortable beds and bathroom. All the shower stuff smelled amazing. And we didn’t need a kitchen, but it was there and also of a very high standard. I would come here again! The breakfast was tasty and all the staff were friendly and helpful.

It’s on a road where lots of work is done, didn’t hear this from the rooms, but it means there are a few less beautiful sites around the area.

Very clean, lovely modern room, the beds were super comfy! Asked the reception staff how we could turn the towel heater off as our room was very hot and they said there was no way as maintenance weren’t in so they upgraded us to a studio that had better aircon! Amazing service, we were really impressed with this.

Just a few snags that need sorted, there’s a lot of scratches on the walls etc that wouldn’t expect from a brand new place.

Loved the room and all the little extras everything you could want or need for your stay 😊staff were very friendly and helpful

Only negative thing I could say was that the breakfast could of been better missed my good old English fry up ,they had 4 hot items but the bacon and sausages looked really greasy and under cooked ,also couldn’t find a dish for the cereal and there was no one to ask for help for quite a while

Amjad was at the reception during my check-in and check-out. He did an excellent job arranging rooms near to each other. He helped with taxi arrangements. This is my second stay in 15 days and since I am a Marriott Gold member, I received a free upgrade to the next level. The breakfast was fantastic and I recommend the hotel for families and couples.

Construction nearby could cause some noice at times but not a big deal.
