We arrived a bit early for check in but Jerry at reception kindly checked with housekeeping to see if our room was ready and it was. He was such a kind and helpful man throughout our stay. We stayed in a Junior Suite as a family of 4 with two children and it was perfect. Not only was there a sofa bed but they also put up a smaller single for our youngest child. The location is great, a short walk to Piccadilly Station and Piccadilly Gardens for lots of tram links. Easy to get to anywhere in the centre from it. The breakfast was lovely, so many options and really fresh. The staff at breakfast were all so kind and helpful also. They had coloring sheets for the kids to choose from.

Hotel was spotlessly clean and reception staff were very helpful. A reasonable cancellation policy if necessary.

Staff can be too chummy with phases like mate, aimed at one at the bar. This is an upmarket Holiday Inn Hotel and didn't like be addressed as such. Also I need to make mention of a wait time for a pizza from the kitchen. When it arrived at my table it was burnt and of unacceptable quality. However Reception staff were again brilliant, especially the tall chap with long hair. He once again provided first rate customer service and saved the day.

The location was great! Within walking distance of everything including the train station and tram central location. Didn’t book breakfast so can not comment on this area. Was offered to add at the hotel for a special rate, but we wanted to eat out, but at least the option was there along with the option of eating in your room. Glad there was a fridge in the room along with air conditioning which was an added bonus as it was lovely hot weather when visiting the city, so returning to the room that was nice and cool was a great. Staff were very welcoming and helpful, ensuring that you had a great stay! Will definitely return.

I can’t think of anything that I did not like.

The room was fantastic, comfortable, AC was perfect. Shower, bathtub all lovely with great facilities. The location is great in the sense that it is a walk to the arndale centre and shops and local restaurants. Breakfast was decent but the same range every day. Staff are phenomenal. I didn't like the coffee tea hot choc all very basic. It is literally a brand new hotel. Tram access easy.

Although the location is great for going out on foot, it is horrible for cars. It's near impossible to park your car near the hotel. The night I arrived I had to do an illegal manoeuvre to get outside the hotel, this is because noone would answer the phone at reception. To the credit of the hotel, they did halve my parking charge. The nearest car park in association with the hotel is about a 4 min walk, it is pricey though 20 quid a night, you could pay less at a closer car park opposite the hotel. For breakfast, you can only have tea coffee hot choc or juices if you want a latte or cappuccino thats extra (maybe I am being too demanding haha). When the room was cleaned they should put a complimentary water in the fridge but they didn't. However on request they did provide.

Very impressed, from the parking being available just across the road at a reasonable rate to the fact that, from the moment of walking in, the staff were helpful and always ready to answer any questions we had. The location is excellent with plentiful food and shopping options within easy walking distance. On site every amenity is available that you could possibly need, including toiletries available if you happen to, like us, have forgotten toothpaste to the ability to hire an umbrella if necessary. The room was clean, well fitted out and modern and breakfast in the morning was tasty with a wide range of options and plentiful supply. We will stay again.

Breakfast was great, staff friendly and attentive, room very clean, bar staff lovely, fantastic location with the majority of things in walking distance or close to tramway

No double bed (two singles) when stated preffered a double bed (though understand this couldn't be helped) no staff said goodbye!/acknowledged us when dropped off the keys (though right next to the desk) room felt dark even though all lights on but these are just small issues

Location and facilities. Eventually the problems I described were addressed.

At first we got really bad staff treatment. We got to the hotel earlier than expected and we were told we can have a different room for the ENTIRE duration of our stay for an extra 270pound, but on chat we were told 10 pound per day in the same room. Eventually it worked out, but then they had problem storing my medicine (requires cooling). I had to beg for them to store it for me and they didn't. I had to wait for my room to become available so I could store it in the refrigerator.

Really comfortable hotel, large gym and good lounge and restaurant. Staff were really attentive. Our junior suite was perfect for our young family and good breakfast each morning. Check in and check out were wonderfully painless. Good location with lots to do and see with good restaurants all around.

The new bar / lounge staff were so kind and friendly but maybe needed a wee bit more support from more experienced staff. Sofa bed in our junior suite suited our younger kids but might not have been that comfortable for anyone older than that.

very nice hotel but one thing I don’t like about it , they serve same breakfast every day and no changes at all. I hope this note to be considered

the location was fantastic - less than 5 minute walk from Piccadilly station and 10/15 minute walk to the city centre . The room was spacious and everywhere in hotel was clean. check in staff were friendly and all the staff we spoke to over the weekend were the same

there wasn’t much to not like but the tram noise in our room was quite loud. it didn’t really bother me that much as I was used to trains at home growing up but if you are someone who likes complete silence you could ask for a room away from the tram lines.
